A drawer for a wardrobe - everything you need to know when choosing a design. Such different trouser hangers: types, advantages Storage system for a loft-style hallway

Today, leading furniture manufacturers produce spacious cabinets for safe storage of things. Modern models are equipped with various systems for storing clothes. The placement of skirts, trousers, ties and other accessories requires special conditions. Come to the rescue with pull-out drawers for the closet, designed for their more responsible storage.

Advantages

In the broadest sense of the word, trousers are personal storage systems for trousers in an upright position. The main advantages of such a device include:

  • compactness - the design takes up very little space in the middle of the cabinet;
  • ease of use;
  • saving cabinet space - neatly folded trousers on the shelf are a weighty stack, while trousers allow you to place things, significantly saving space;
  • the appearance of the product remains unchanged - the trousers do not wrinkle, the “arrows” do not crease.

Moreover, the trousers can also be used not for their intended purpose. You can use this device for storing towels, ties, scarves, belts. We can safely say that when buying a trouser, you are acquiring a whole complex for responsible storage of things and accessories.

Types of storage systems

There are a huge number of trousers, but all of them can be conditionally divided into two types - stationary and retractable.

Retractable systems are the most convenient in terms of operation. Depending on the method of fastening, one can distinguish:

  • side attachment systems;
  • trousers with fastening at the top;
  • pull-out systems with attachment to both sides of the cabinet.

A trouser woman with side fastening with self-tapping screws takes up little space, leaving the center of the cabinet free. This system allows you to store up to 8-9 pairs of trousers. The fastening mechanism and the rod itself are made of steel, which increases its reliability. In this case, the depth of the cabinet should not be less than 60 cm. This type of design is also presented in a compact version, where not only trousers, but also ties, skirts can be hung on the pull-out element, fastening them with clothespins.

The top-fastened trouser is distinguished by increased endurance - 10-11 pairs can be accommodated here. The retractable roller mechanism is made of steel. A standard cabinet depth is provided for this design.

The trouser woman with attachment to two walls allows you to place things vertically without fear of getting wrinkled. There are several types of such a design based on its size:

  • for cabinets with a depth of 60 cm for storing up to 8 pairs of trousers;
  • for cabinets 80 cm deep for 10 pairs of items;
  • for wardrobes 90 cm deep and can accommodate up to 12 pairs of trousers. Manufacturers also offer such options with an additional laundry basket.

How to choose?

When choosing a trouser, one should take into account both personal wishes for the adaptation and the features of the cabinet ... Among the main criteria when buying a trouser, you need to pay attention to the following points:

  • the number of pairs of pants you want to fit;
  • maximum load weight;
  • type of attachment. You can choose the option of placing the structure inside the cabinet or outside on the wall;
  • material of manufacture.

In the manufacture of trousers, materials that are safe for health are used - metal, wear-resistant and chip-resistant paint in the color of aluminum.

Considering all the necessary nuances, it is easy to purchase a trouser pants, which will be really convenient to use and will serve you for a long time.

In every home, a wardrobe is a piece of furniture that helps to optimize space and correctly organize storage of things. In order to place clothes, shoes, accessories and other household items in the most rational way, it is important to think over the filling of the closet in as much detail as possible. Depending on the location of the piece of furniture (bedroom, hallway, living room, children's room or study), the internal content may vary slightly. For example, you are unlikely to store seasonal clothes and shoes in the bedroom, and the closet in the hallway is not designed to house a home library. However, absolutely all cabinets have a basic set of containers, boxes and accessories necessary for storing things.

Correctly planned internal filling of cabinets will save the space of any room, since all things will find their place, will be stored in strict order and accessibility. The entire internal volume can be divided into many spacious sections, and its main elements will be:

  • shelves of various widths;
  • baskets for placing linen;
  • drawers;
  • clothes hangers;
  • metal rods (crossbars);
  • accessories for storing ties, trousers;
  • shoe shelves;
  • pantographs for more convenient access to things;
  • hooks for bags, umbrellas, keys, accessories.

It does not matter at all whether you are the owner of an impressive-sized sliding wardrobe or there is only a place for small cabinet furniture in the room, a wide choice of filling this piece of furniture and the ability to select it for any furniture dimensions you specify, will make it easy to purchase internal elements for any cabinet according to your desire. The more thoughtful the filling of the cabinet is, the more convenient and ergonomic it will turn out.

There are no clear standards for filling the cabinet. Having fired up the idea of a rational and compact arrangement of things, pay attention to several components:

  • if you plan to order a built-in wardrobe - the size of the niche or wall where it will be located;
  • how much clothing (its types) and other items are you going to store;
  • their financial capabilities.

Ideas for a typical layout can be found in the photo on the Internet, many furniture manufacturers, for the convenience of customers, even offer to compose it on their own based on the given cabinet dimensions, the number of shelves, offering a choice of materials and construction accessories. You can also pre-calculate finance costs.

Cabinets with one or two doors are suitable for a small room. The internal filling should be planned based on the number of sections at least two, dividing the wardrobe into storage areas for hats, long items, shoes, sections for bags, gloves, care products and shoes.

Oversized cabinets suggest a place where a large number of things will be placed. In addition to the standard filling elements, you can add sections inside that store bed linen, travel bags, household appliances, while the usable area will be much more involved.

It should not be forgotten that the size of the cabinet must correspond to the size of the clothes to be placed. For example, a long coat or fur coat in a low closet will deform and lose its aesthetic appearance.

Decoration of individual zones

In the photo on the Internet, you can find a lot of ideas for dividing and decorating areas for placing things in storage systems. Conventionally, the interior filling of cabinets can be divided into several zones, each of which has its own design requirements. There is a certain sequence of distribution of things in the closet:

  • rarely used items - on top;
  • things that are worn daily - in the middle;
  • shoes and bulky items - from below.

In the center, at the level of an outstretched arm, as a rule, the most necessary shelves are located, where there are items that may be needed at any time and several times a day. Tie holders, bag hooks or robe hooks can be attached to the side walls.

In the upper area of the cabinet are usually located:

  • shelves for storing suitcases, travel bags, sports equipment;
  • offices where off-season shoes will be located.

The middle zone is equipped with brackets, shelves, drawers and is intended for:

  • placement of outerwear of different lengths;
  • storage of women's and men's light clothing (dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts);
  • location of sweaters, T-shirts.

The lower area is designed for storage on pull-out shelves:

  • underwear;
  • tights and socks;
  • shoes;
  • household appliances.

Holders of hats, bags, umbrellas, belts are attached to the side parts of the cabinets. On the hinged doors, there can be a holder for an iron, a hair dryer, a hose from a vacuum cleaner.

Storage systems for different types of clothes

Wardrobes where clothes are stored contribute to perfect order in the house, when you do not need to look for the right thing at breakneck speed, and you know exactly where what is located. At the same time, well-designed storage systems make it possible to free the space of the room from additional pieces of furniture cluttering the room. The practicality and functionality of the cabinets depend on how well thought out the interior filling of the cabinets.

Shelves, shelves, drawers, baskets, pantographs, brackets - everything must be planned and selected in the most careful way. There are storage departments that have a narrow focus and a certain size. For each type of clothing, storage systems are selected according to the dimensions declared by the customer. All racks, shelves for placing wardrobe items are developed by manufacturers taking into account the proportions, suitable spacing between shelves and racks, which will be optimal for comfortable storage of things. The height of the bar for hangers is calculated so that it is convenient to take off and hang clothes, if the bar is high, a pantograph is provided - a kind of "lift" for clothes, which facilitates access to things located at a high height. Various collections for filling furniture will help to optimize the space of the cabinet and turn it into an ideal storage place for necessary things.

When selecting the elements of the internal filling of each cabinet, it is necessary to take into account the characteristics of the room, the lifestyle of the owner of the house, his requirements and wishes, calculate the number and dimensions of the necessary shelves, drawers, racks, hangers, additional elements in the form of pull-out mirrors or an ironing board, that is, transform the cabinet into certain needs of its owner.

To achieve maximum convenience, you should maintain certain distances:

  • between shelves: for clothes 30 cm, shoes (without high heels) - 20 cm;
  • compartment height to the bracket: for outerwear - 160-180 cm, dresses - 150-180 cm, jackets, jackets, shirts - 120 cm;
  • compartments with devices for storing trousers folded in half - 100 cm, length - 140 cm.

For underwear

Such a delicate wardrobe item requires a particularly careful attitude towards itself. If you have enough space in your closet, you can select a compartment and hang each set on special plastic or fabric hangers - this is very convenient, and the laundry is stored neatly. It is possible to arrange the linen more compactly in special boxes of honeycombs (up to 30 cm deep) or organizers with cells (a couple of centimeters smaller than the box in which it will be located), where bras, panties, socks, tights can be folded. In small cabinets for storing these elegant things, it is worth adapting a drawer by equipping it with a divider container, where underwear is stored in one compartment, and socks and tights in the other. There are special plastic partitions on sale that can be installed in a drawer and put underwear into cells. With this approach, you will always have perfect order.

For wrinkle-free things

Large open shelves are best for wrinkle-free items. So wardrobe items can be easily folded and taken out when necessary. Usually the central part of the cabinet is equipped with such shelves. They store jerseys that, when folded, do not deform and do not wrinkle. The width of such a storage compartment is 50 cm. Knitted items cannot be hung on a hanger, since the product can stretch out and lose its original shape, you need to put larger and heavier clothes on the shelves from below, and light ones from above, so it will not be pressed down and wrinkled. Wrinkle-free items can be laid out in baskets, selecting their size in such a way that the folded clothes are located freely.

For clothes on hangers

Regardless of the size of your closet, there is always room to put things on the hanger. It is convenient, allows you to carefully store your clothes, and if necessary, you can easily and quickly get the item you need. To figure out how high to plan the compartments for clothes on the hangers, you need to measure the longest items. Of course, for the sake of one evening dress, you should not adjust the height of the barbell.

Since the things stored on the hangers have different lengths, the sizes of the compartments for their placement are also provided from 1 meter to 1.8 m.

When determining the width of the compartments for clothes, it should be borne in mind that the normal distance between the hangers is considered to be 5 cm, dense - 2 cm. The storage system must be well ventilated to avoid unpleasant odors. The width of the coat hanger ranges from 34 cm to 51 cm, depending on the size of the clothes, the depth of the closet is 50-60 cm.

It is best to provide several compartments of different lengths for storing outerwear and lightweight. If there is only one such compartment (the length of the bar is 100-120 cm), a support is required - a vertical bar fixed to the horizontal one. In tall cabinets, the compartment is equipped with a pantograph, a special device for free access to various types of clothing. This device allows you to use the entire cabinet space. For narrow cabinets, pull-out cross brackets can be used to save space and allow you to place your clothes more compactly.

A pantograph is a very convenient thing. There are mechanisms that are pulled out manually. For more convenient use, you can order a cabinet with a built-in pantograph, which is easy to control using the remote control.

For accessories

Clothing accessories tend to get lost forever. To prevent this from happening, manufacturers propose to equip cabinets with special elements: holders for ties and belts or shelves with cells. Small accessories can be easily stored in small drawers or mesh shelves. Scarves, shawls, umbrellas - on hooks that are attached to the cabinet door.

There are a lot of original, unusual hangers and organizers for accessories (photos on the network will help you make a choice), which will once and for all save you from the constant search for the desired item and help organize their storage:

  • for scarves, shawls, stoles - hangers with many holes of various shapes;
  • for ties - special crossbars with or without clamps;
  • for belts and belts - hangers with hooks.

Another piece of clothing that requires special storage conditions is trousers. Many men are very jealous of the correct placement of this wardrobe item, because perfectly ironed trousers lose their prestigious look on the shelves. The woman in this case will be a necessary element in your wardrobe. There are several options:

  • pull-out trouser holder;
  • retractable trouser;
  • foldable hanger for trousers and belts;
  • pull-out trouser shelf with basket.

The trousers are attached to the far or side wall of the cabinet, there are one-sided, two-sided.

For shoes

Shoes are usually placed in the lower area of the closet. Storage areas are equipped with drawers, shelves (inclined or retractable), elements in the form of pads, which allows you to keep the shape of the shoe. This takes into account the size of objects, the height of the tops of the boots. Manufacturers offer several types of shoe storage systems:

  • retractable - with special pins fixed on a movable frame;
  • mesh with shelves or movable hooks;
  • folding drawers shelves with cells;
  • open shelves located at the bottom of the cabinet;
  • hangers with clothespins for placing boots.

An interesting design idea is to place shoes on a rotating rack located in the lower compartment of the cabinet.

For bags

For storage of bags in the closet, you can select a separate shelf or fix hooks on the door. Moreover, it is imperative to take into account that it is better to store heavy bulky bags on the shelves, and hang the lighter and softer ones on hooks or special holders. Large items (suitcases and travel bags) should be placed at the top of the closet or on the mezzanine, as they are not often used.

  • things made of knitwear and wool after washing and airing must be carefully placed in plastic bags, then folded on the shelves, so they will look good even after long-term storage;
  • if the height of the cabinet is not enough for long dresses, it is recommended to throw their hem over the hanger bar to avoid contact with the bottom of the furniture;
  • skirts and trousers are best hung by attaching them with special clothespins on hangers;
  • hats should be placed in boxes and then put away in a closet;
  • closed storage systems should be provided for shoes.

Nothing gives a suit a sleazier look than wrinkled trousers. Of course, they can be ironed every time before going out, but frequent ironing can ruin a thing made of good expensive fabric, and we don't always have time for that. Little life hack: so that even after a long stay in the closet, the trousers look like they have just been ironed, you need to learn how to store them correctly. And if earlier manufacturers could not offer anything except a bar in a suit hanger, now the assortment of these accessories is so diverse that it allows you to solve the most complex storage tasks.

Types of trouser hangers

Traces from the crossbar in the place of the fold, dents from the clips, elongated seams and V-shaped folds on the legs, slipping to the bottom of the closet - this is not a complete list of vulnerabilities in the storage of trousers that every housewife has encountered at least once in her life. By having different types of hangers in the closet and using them correctly, most problems can be eliminated. the following models have been developed:

Hanger clip;

Hanger with clips;

Crossbar hanger;

Hanger-transformer.

At the heart of this classification - different principles of fastening and storage... As options, there is an improved design of individual elements, the use of all kinds of softening pads, anti-slip materials and coatings. In addition to universal use, each type of hanger is designed to store certain products of a certain type.

We invite you to consider the main models together with us, analyze their advantages and weaknesses, and then decide on a purchase.

Hanger clip

The device consists of two slats that are pulled together with a tight spring. Method of fastening trousers in the structure - for the bottom edge... Such hangers are made of wood and metal, the clip itself inside (at the point of contact with the fabric) has a protective coating or silicone pads. Designed for storing light trousers made of cotton, linen, silk, fine suit wool.

The advantages of the model:

The optimal way of hanging storage - no folds are formed, no seams are pulled out, the product is smoothed under its own weight.
Polymer lining prevents slipping, does not leave marks on the leg.

Flaws:
The clip hanger is not intended for thick winter trousers - they stretch the spring mechanism and in the future the clip will not hold well.
Requires closet space to store full-length pants.

What to look for when buying?
In a high-quality hanger-clamp, the spring mechanism is always tight and smooth, it opens and closes easily.
The inside of the clamp must have a protective pad.

Hanger with clip-on clothespins

This type of trempel is a bar on which 2 clips (clothespins) are fixed. The horizontal base is made of wood, metal, durable plastic, clips - metal, with silicone or rubber attachments at the ends. Pants in this version are attached for the belt... The design is designed for summer and winter models.

Advantages:

Versatility - suitable for trousers, shorts, skirts, stoles and even boots.
In most models of such hangers, the clips move along the crossbar, which allows you to adjust the clothespins to the size of the belt.
The construction is sturdy enough with a secure metal hook for hanging heavy winter items.

Flaws:
The standard length of the bar is a maximum of 30–33 cm, which limits the use of such a bar for people with large clothing sizes.
When stored in this position, products made from lightweight fabrics will form vertical and V-shaped folds.

What to look for when buying?
At the ends of the clip, there should be polymer attachments. They are needed so as not to damage the fabric, not to tear it with the teeth of the clothespin, not to leave too obvious traces from the clamp.

Crossbar hanger

This is an improved costume option. Trousers folded neatly arrow to arrow thrown over the crossbar and hung in the closet. For this, ordinary hangers with a crossbar or special designs with a horizontal base are used. Not suitable for creased fabrics.

The main problem with hanging storage is slipping onto the floor. This is especially true for, since the wood itself has good adhesion to the fabric. To solve this problem, manufacturers have learned to cover the base with anti-slip compounds, "dress" them in protective covers made of polymeric materials. Most popular options:

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating;
rubberized or silicone casing (for metal rods);
a foam roller is the most effective, since, in addition to adhesion, it prevents the formation of folds on the fold.

Attention! Lack of coverage does NOT mean automatically, that the pants will slide off... It all depends on the fabric. The presence of an adhesion cover is mandatory for storing trousers made of slippery fabrics - silk, fine wool.

The advantages of the model:
Simple storage system using the existing crossbar hanger.
Requires no additional height space.

Flaws:
A transverse fold is formed, and the thinner the base rod, the more distinct it is. It is especially noticeable by the fold on thin cloth, since the woolen fiber tends to stretch.

What should you pay attention to?
The edge of the single should be folded up to prevent slipping to one side.

Tiered hanger

The principle of storing clothes on the same as on a regular bar - suspended or on a hanger with clothespins. The main difference- the ability to place several pairs at once on one structure. To prevent the placed items from slipping (the likelihood of which in this case increases due to the "collectivity" of storage), the ends of the crossbars are folded up or stopping nozzles are put on them. Considering that trousers thrown over the base will hang quite tightly, it is best to place products made of wrinkle-free fabrics, jeans on such a hanger. Although many experienced housewives recommend keeping denim clothes folded on the shelf.

Designers strongly recommend replacing the traditional hanger or set of hooks in the hallway with a storage system. The photo below is just such an option. White wood, wicker baskets and pillows in white and blue tones remind of freshness. This option is not only more pleasant, but also solves the problem of storing hats, scarves, bags and shoes with cute wicker baskets.

Specialization: Master in the construction of plasterboard structures, finishing works and laying floor coverings. Installation of door and window blocks, decoration of facades, installation of electrical, plumbing and heating - I can give detailed advice on all types of work.

Not sure how to properly store your trousers in your closet? Then this review is for you, in it we will analyze in detail all the features of trousers - special systems installed inside the closet and designed for neat storage of trousers and quick access if necessary.

Purpose and features

The main purpose of the retractable trouser is to store several pairs of things without folding and creasing them and easy access to the structure if necessary. The design is moving, which makes it much more convenient than stationary options.

At the same time, the system is convenient, takes up very little space and is suitable for all types of cabinets: cabinet, compartment, built-in open, etc.

The retractable ball-type mechanism provides a smooth advancement of the trousers forward, and it slides out completely, which provides easy access to the contents. Structures differ in size and type of installation, we will discuss all these aspects below.

When choosing, you should pay attention to the size, since the design is placed in a niche, the height of which should be about 40 cm so that the trousers hang freely. As for the width, it can be different, so it is not difficult to find a suitable solution for standard furniture.

Another important advantage is the ability to install structures on both new and old furniture, the fastening system is simple, and anyone who has minimal experience with a tape measure and a screwdriver can handle the job.

Views

If you decide that you need a trouser, then you need to choose the right design for your closet. There are not so many options, and after reading this section, you can easily cope with this task.

Based on the foregoing, there are several advantages of retractable systems:

  • Rational use of space... You can hang a lot of pants on a small structure;
  • Safety of things... You can iron the trousers and hang them, they will not wrinkle, as they hang straight and do not come into contact with other things;
  • The convenience of use... The exiting mechanism allows you to quickly find and get the item you need, as well as quickly hang everything you need, after which the system slides back;
  • Reliability... The mechanism works perfectly even when fully loaded, it does not warp or jam over time;
  • Noiselessness... The guides move quietly and smoothly, so you won't disturb a sleeping family member when you take things out.

By location

This aspect denotes the method of fastening the structure to the cabinet frame and the method of pulling it out, there are three main options:

Illustration Description

Side fastening trouser has the following features:
  • Installed on the side wall of the cabinet in any place convenient for you, the main thing is that there is enough space below for the trousers when you hang them;
  • The hangers are made of durable metal and have a slight bend at the edge to prevent things from slipping. They are located at such a distance that the trousers do not wrinkle;
  • The system runs on a coupled telescopic guide, which ensures its reliability and resistance to stress;
  • You can fix the structure on the furniture yourself; for this, from 3 to 7 self-tapping screws are screwed into the holes, depending on the size of the unit.

Top-mounted trouser hanger... Its main differences are as follows:
  • The system attaches to the bottom of a partition or shelf. Installation is even easier than that of the side version - there are two brackets, on each side two holes are made in them, the structure is leveled and screwed with 4x16 mm self-tapping screws;
  • Specially shaped brackets ensure ease of use. The pants are easy to hang up and easy to take off when needed;
  • The trouser woman withstands high loads and serves for a long time, since there are no deformation effects on it, as in the version with side fastening;
  • The installation places are invisible, even if you decide to rearrange the structure to another place, the holes from the screws will not be visible.

Sliding pants with side fastening to two walls... This solution has its advantages:
  • Most reliable design. The frame with trouser hangers is rigidly fixed on both sides, therefore, during use, the guides wear out and deform much less;
  • Large capacity. Since the storage system occupies a whole niche, a lot of things fit into it, especially if the dimensions of the structure are large;
  • Simple installation. The most important thing in this case is to make markings by level so that the guides do not skew. Then everything is simple: several self-tapping screws are screwed in and - the trouser can be used.

Fan type trouser hangers. This option does not directly apply to retractable structures, but since it is also movable and rotates if necessary, but you also need to disassemble it:
  • The system moves on a vertical bracket that is attached to the bottom of a shelf or partition in the cabinet;
  • The design can be either stationary or folding, the second option is more convenient because it practically does not take up space when not in use.

Manufacturing materials

Now let's figure out what materials trousers are most often made of, there are only a few options:

Illustration Description

Solid wood... Wood is a popular material in furniture making, which is also used in the manufacture of trousers. Structures most often have the form of a frame in which oval wooden beams are located, on which things are hung.

A very simple device that does an excellent job of its function. The holder is mounted on both sides on the side rails, only this mounting option is available for similar products.

Aluminum also used to manufacture products. It has the following advantages:
  • Light weight of structures, metal weighs very little, therefore it creates a small load on the walls of the furniture on which the mechanism is fixed;
  • High strength. The reliability of aluminum is quite enough to exclude the breakage of the trousers under the weight of things;
  • The draw-out mechanism in such models is made of steel, so it is reliable and durable. Otherwise, the device of aluminum options is the same as that of steel counterparts, which we will analyze below.

Steel... This is the most common type of system and has a number of advantages:
  • High strength. The iron frame and hangers withstand high loads and serve for a long time. The elements are difficult to deform, since the rods are made of metal with a thickness of 5 mm or more;
  • Low cost. This option is much cheaper than aluminum structures. It is a little heavier, but the difference is not so fundamental, since the device is small in size.

Durable plastic... Modern polymeric materials are also used in the manufacture of the type of products we are considering, they have the following features:
  • Low cost. This is the cheapest solution, and if you need to save money, then choose this option;
  • Light weight. The plastic is very light, but at the same time its strength is sufficient for the weight of the clothing. Although it is better to put such options in a narrow opening, with a large width, under the weight of things, the structure begins to bend.

Combination of steel and plastic... Such options are more and more popular, since the models take the best properties of the two materials and allow you to get excellent designs:
  • Most often, a frame is made of plastic, in which metal pins are located, this is a convenient and durable solution;
  • The design often provides small compartments for belts and other little things, which makes it even more convenient;
  • There are options that combine wood and metal, they have the same features as the solution we have considered.

Dimensions (edit)

The design parameters are very important, so we'll cover all of them in a separate section. Here you need to consider the following:

... It does not directly relate to the size, but it determines the degree of reliability of the trouser and its durability. The standard indicators are from 15 to 20 kg, this is usually enough to provide a margin of safety and eliminate deformation;

Always select the oversized option so that the actual load is no more than 2/3 of the allowable. This will ensure the longevity of the system and eliminate wear on the moving parts due to constant work at the limit.

  • Length of structure... This aspect is important for structures that are attached to the side and top walls. In options that are fixed on both sides, width is important, as it determines the size and capacity of the product. When choosing a specific model, you need to take into account either the depth of the cabinet or the width of the compartment, it all depends on the type of trousers. The design is selected so that it is freely located in the niche reserved for it and does not rest against the door sashes;

  • Working part width. This takes into account the size of the rods or pins on which things are located. Usually it is from 30 to 40 cm, but the indicators may differ, for example, if you purchase a children's version, it will be smaller, since the things that are stored on it are not as large as ordinary clothes;

  • The dimensions of the compartments where the trouser is placed... These parameters are also important, because the system is always built into the rack and is often located next to other units. For example, if shoes are folded from below, then the opening should be of such a height that the trousers do not touch it. The same applies to other things, most often in the compartment below the bed and other large things are folded.

What to consider when choosing

We have analyzed the main features of trousers, we will figure out what you need to pay attention to when choosing a specific model:

  • Compartment dimensions... First of all, measure the parameters of the furniture in the place where the trouser will be located in the future;
  • Mount type... Decide immediately which option will be used. As practice shows, two-sided systems are the most reliable, and the side and top ones are convenient to use and are not designed for heavy loads;
  • ... The label must indicate this indicator, if it is not, then in front of you is most likely not the most reliable option;
  • Workmanship quality... First, evaluate the strength and reliability of all elements, the frame must be strong, the pins must not bend with little effort. Pay attention to the coating, if it is an electroplated layer, it should be uniform - without streaks and stains, if the surface is painted, then there should be no smudges and unpainted areas on it;

  • Trouser capacity... Be sure to estimate how many pants you need to store on the structure, and based on this, look for the right option. If there are a lot of things, it makes sense to put two products in order to place everything normally and conveniently;
  • The presence of anti-slip elements... Silicone rings are placed on metal pins, or the entire surface is completely covered with a special non-slip compound. This prevents things from slipping.
