Homemade chandelier for the kitchen is an exclusive component of the interior (MK). How to make a ceiling lamp yourself - ideas and tips DIY flat chandelier

Materials (edit)

The most suitable and affordable materials are paper and the cloth... They lend themselves easily to transformation, each of us is familiar with them and they can be found in each home... Wonderful fixtures are obtained from threads or yarns. Naturally, glass can also be used for shades. At home, these are ordinary or unusual, with an interesting shape, banks or bottle... In especially daring projects, plastic containers, coffee packaging, and plastic children's toys were also noticed.

Plus, don't throw out options like rattan, bamboo, and rubber. As a basis for a future product, both raw materials and an already finished product can serve. So, for example, designers got the hang of creating delightful lampshades from beads, globes, parts of services, mirror shards and even crumpled sheet music! One has only to take a closer look at the objects around you ...

Realizing how difficult it is to move from thought to action, especially to see an exquisite accessory in an ordinary jar, we have prepared several master classes for you. Following the step-by-step instructions, you can easily make sweet-hearted hand-made new items for any room in the house.

Ideas and their implementation

Since we have already announced the materials suitable for the manufacture of lampshades and lampshades, let's start with paper.

Plafond with butterflies

For work we need:

  • white thin cardboard
  • thin twine or line
  • glue gun
  • wire for frame
  • utility knife or scissors
  • round nose pliers

Advice! Before starting work, decide on the size of the finished plafond. In our example, the diameter is 30 cm, which means that we need a piece of cardboard 90 cm long.

  1. We make a frame. Cut off a piece of wire 96-98 cm long. Roll the wire into a circle with a diameter of 30 cm and fix the ends with round-nose pliers.
  2. We cut 3 suspension elements from twine or fishing line. We measure the length of the pieces based on the height at which you plan to hang the lamp. We tie them to the wire in three places, evenly distributing the load.
  3. We draw butterflies of different sizes on cardboard and cut them out.
  4. We roll up the cardboard, glue the joint with a strip of thick paper or stitch it with a stapler.
  5. We fix the upper part on the wire. For this, you can use both glue and thin wire.
  6. The joints and cuts can be decorated with butterflies remaining after cutting.
    Look at what an elegant lamp we've got. It will fit perfectly into the nursery and the bedroom. You will see a special chic when you turn on the lamp and butterflies flutter along the walls.

Advice! Instead of butterflies, you can cut snowflakes, stars or flowers. Decide for yourself what you like best.

60s style

If you ask our grandmothers, they will certainly remember floor lamps with lampshades in the form of an inverted bucket, tied with colored threads. We can do exactly the same with our own hands.

We need:

  • frame for lampshade - 2 pcs.
  • decorative braid (3 colors, choose a combination according to your taste)
  • scissors
  • crochet hook

We start manufacturing.

  • We tie the first braid to the lower ring of the lampshade, leaving the tail at least 5 cm.
  • We pull it over the upper ring from the outside, throw it over it and stretch it through the inside of the lower ring. We alternate actions until the beginning of the next sector of the frame.
  • We fasten the first braid and use a braid of a different color. We knit it to the next sector, not forgetting to leave the tail on the first knot.
  • We do the same with the third sector, filling it with the remaining tape.
  • We stretch the ponytails along the bottom of the lampshade using a crochet hook.

Here is our shade from the distant 60s and is ready, it remains only to insert the cartridge and assemble the chandelier in any order.

Fringed braid

Another original idea for a do-it-yourself lampshade is also associated with braid, but not single-layer, but with fringe. What do we need for this?

Prepare:

  1. two metal hoops or use an embroidery hoop
  2. fringed braid
  3. line
  4. acrylic paint, the same color with tape
  5. glue gun
  6. scissors

Advice! Fringed braids are available from curtain and furniture stores.

  1. We paint the hoops or hoops with acrylic paint. If they are already covered with varnish or other paint, it is better to sand and grind them.
  2. We wait until the paint is completely dry, and make three marks on each lamp shade ring, placing them at an equal distance from each other.
  3. Cut three identical pieces of fishing line.
  4. We tie them to the smaller ring of the lampshade, leaving the upper ends with a margin, so that we can then tie them to the lamp cord.
  5. We measure the length of the fringe, subtract 2 cm from it, and tie the fishing line to the second ring for the resulting length. So we can get a cascade.
  6. We heat the glue gun and carefully glue the tape along the lower ring.
  7. We do the same with the upper ring, pulling it out of the lower one.

Advice! Note that hot glue can melt the line, so be careful not to apply it directly to the line. Drop the glue on the paper, let it cool slightly, and then apply to the fishing line.

Decorative details in the interior arrangement will help to give the room a peculiar and original design. A do-it-yourself chandelier for the kitchen is an extraordinary detail, made taking into account your own wishes and preferences. It will not be difficult to make this element, but at the same time you will have to work a little.

Chandelier making workshops

To make a chandelier with your own hands, you can use various materials and manufacturing techniques, depending on the person's imagination. There are several traditional and simple options that can be made from improvised means and which will bring new colors and emotions to the kitchen interior. Homemade chandeliers are becoming more and more popular due to the ability to transform your home without spending almost a penny.

Typically, these materials can be found in the home:

  • threads;
  • paper;
  • plastic dishes;
  • newspapers;
  • disks;
  • plastic bottles, etc.

Chandelier made of threads

This is a fairly simple and affordable way, the materials for the implementation of which are available in every home.

You will need:

  • balloon;
  • cotton threads (the color is matched to the style of the interior);
  • PVA glue.

Manufacturing technique:

1. The first step is to inflate a regular balloon.

3. The ball is wrapped with threads so that there are no gaps. The work takes a certain amount of time, so you should be patient, as the end result will undoubtedly please.

4. The product must be left to dry completely for at least 1 day. To check the strength of the structure and make sure that the future chandelier does not lose its shape, the ball in it must be lowered and then inflated again.

5. When the structure is dry and the threads become hard, the ball bursts and is carefully removed.

6. A hole is cut under the light bulb, into which the socket with the wire is lowered.

The process of making a plafond from threads

DIY kitchen chandelier is decorated with additional decorative elements. These can be butterflies, flowers, scraps of fabric, and more.

Lamp from a plastic bottle

There are two ways to make a chandelier from plastic bottles. Let's start with a non-standard option.

To complete the work you will need:

  • plastic bottle 5 l;
  • disposable spoons;
  • glue;
  • cartridge with wire.

Necessary materials

Manufacturing process:

1. First, the bottom of the bottle is cut off.

2. In the spoons, we separate the handles from the scoops, which we will need to make the structure.

3. After preparing the adhesive, we apply it to the scoops, which are attached to the ribs of the plastic container. In this case, we attach the upper ladle with an overlap, it should be in the middle of the two lower ones, with the convex side outward. You should start gluing from the bottom level. Thus, the entire perimeter of the bottle is worked through.

4. When the structure is dry, install the cartridge through the neck of the bottle. The result is a beautiful chandelier that looks like fish scales. The product can be left in its original form or painted in any suitable color.

Making a shade for a chandelier

The second way to make a chandelier involves the use of such materials:

  • plastic bottle 2 l;
  • cotton threads;
  • glue.

Cut off the bottom of the bottle, approximately 3 cm. On the rest of the bottle, horizontally and carefully, from top to bottom, wind a thread soaked in glue. As a result, we have a beautiful and stylish shade that can be used separately. You can connect such parts and several pieces.

Beads as a base

The work of creating this type of chandelier is not easy and requires special care and consistency.

To create a product, you need to prepare:

  • beads or beads;
  • basket frame;
  • nylon threads;
  • wire.

Manufacturing technique:

1. First of all, you need to make a blank in the form of a wire ring.

2. The workpiece must be attached with a wire to the frame.

4. After drying, the cartridge is threaded and the chandelier is suspended for convenient operation.

5. Beads or seed beads are passed through the thread from the basket to the ring. The decoration itself, that is, the number of beads and threads, can be any, based on personal preferences. The entire basket is decorated in the same way around the perimeter.

Bead chandelier making process

Before decorating the chandelier, you must first install the cartridge. Also, for convenience, you can hang the structure on a hook, which will greatly facilitate the work.

Wooden structure

This is a very beautiful way to decorate the kitchen, besides, the use of natural materials will only be beneficial.

The following materials must be prepared:

  • door trim strips, 30-45 cm - 12 pcs .;
  • glass jars, 1 l for shades - 6 pcs.;
  • paints (white and woody colors);
  • self-tapping screws;
  • sandpaper;
  • seaming machine.

The work consists of the following steps:

1. Using sandpaper, we achieve absolute smoothness of the strips.

3. The tree is painted in woody color.

4. From the boards you need to build a regular hexagon and fix the structure with self-tapping screws.

5. The cartridge is fixed to the hole in the cover.

6. We paint the cans in white or any other color, then roll them up with bulbs inside. A beautiful and stylish chandelier is ready.

From wooden sticks

A country-style chandelier will adorn any kitchen. To create an original shade, you will need:

  • barbecue sticks;
  • organza ribbon;
  • glue.

The basis of the design are sticks, which are laid out along the perimeter of the square and fastened with glue. The work is quite painstaking. You also need to make sure that the sticks lay down exactly for the symmetry of the future chandelier. The upper part is sealed with cut sticks so that they do not protrude. Do not forget to leave space for the plafond.

After complete drying, we proceed to decorate the product. The protruding edges of the sticks are decorated with multi-colored organza ribbons. At the last stage, the plafond is hung on a hook and the cartridge is fixed in it through the hole left.

From disks

In order to make such an original lamp, it must be properly assembled. Materials used:

  • round planks of different thicknesses - 2-4 pcs.;
  • racks made of wood or metal;
  • disks;
  • magnetic start;
  • bulb.

The planks should be slightly larger in diameter than the discs. In the largest board, you need to drill a hole into which a magnetic start with a switch is installed, after which it is connected to the lamp. Discs are strung on the lamp in the required quantity, which will determine the height of the chandelier. Racks are mounted around the discs and the upper part of our structure is fixed.

1. First you need to remove your old shade and wash it thoroughly.

2. We clean the surface with sandpaper and cover with a primer.

3. The glue is diluted in the required proportion with water. The resulting mixture is gently smeared with a napkin with an image, and then applied to the shade.

4. Using a piece of fabric, you need to slowly smooth out the pattern, removing air and other flaws.

5. At the final stage, we use varnish to fix the result.

Wine bottle chandelier shade

To start implementing some ideas, just desire is enough. A person who has firmly decided to carry out his plans without fear crosses the boundaries of the unknown and successfully implements his plans. If you have no experience in constructing a frame for lighting fixtures, but you really want to do it yourself, you will need a sufficient amount of information, which you can find in our article. Below you will find step-by-step instructions for creating designer shades for chandeliers, which were made by ordinary people who previously did not have an idea of how to make them from improvised, at first glance, unnecessary materials.

So, let's look at how to make a shade for a chandelier from wine bottles.

  • The first step involves trimming the bottom of the bottle. To do this, draw a straight line on the bottle. It will be required in order to cut off the bottle bottom along it, using a glass cutter;
  • In order not to injure your hands later with cut glass, sand the sharp edges with sandpaper;
  • Pull the wire through the neck of the bottle. After it is inside, connect the socket and the lamp;
  • Choose a base for fastening and connect the bottles to the selected frame;
  • You can decorate the bottle with different materials or leave it intact;
  • The number of bottles taken for a chandelier is variable and can range from one to five to seven or more bottles.

Plafond for a chandelier with your own hands from threads and balloons

The simplest lamp can be made from threads. The instructions for making such a lamp are so simple that even a child can cope with it.

  • Threads. It can be ordinary jute twine or thick cotton threads, the total length of which is no more than 100 meters. The color selection is carried out taking into account your taste preferences and the color concept of the interior;
  • PVA glue and a brush, using which you will apply it;
  • 2 balloons. You will need one of them for work, and the second for verification. It is recommended to use a round ball, which will ensure the correct shape of the luminaire;
  • Petrolatum.

To make a lamp from threads, follow the step-by-step instructions below:

  • The balloon is inflated to the desired size. It is important to remember that the finished thread lampshade will repeat the shape of the ball. Use a marker to draw one or two circles (top and bottom). In this case, the circumference at the bottom can be larger. They are necessary in order to delimit the area of winding threads;
  • PVA glue is poured into a container and the threads are carefully processed. Using a brush, coat the ball with petroleum jelly.

Important! Do not apply glue along the entire length of the thread. It is better to overcoat as it is wound.

  • Taking into account the holes obtained after you have drawn two circles on the ball, wind the threads. Please note that the appearance of your future lampshade depends on the density of the winding;
  • After you have wrapped the ball, leave the future chandelier for at least 24 hours until it dries completely;
  • After the shade of threads has dried, the ball bursts, and its remnants are removed from the lampshade that has become durable. The result of this work is a solid thread lampshade;
  • A hole for the cartridge is cut in the upper part of the ball;
  • Finally, check the strength of the lampshade. To do this, insert another ball into it and inflate. With this technique, you can appreciate the flexibility of the design.

Having made several lamps in accordance with the presented step-by-step instructions, you can install local lighting in the kitchen or hang a thread lamp in the dining area.

Important! As an additional decoration of the chandelier, you can use original coloring, artificial flowers or butterflies, beads. A non-standard idea would be to make several balls, which are held together in such a way that they resemble a bunch of grapes.

Using the considered principle of making lamps, you can create original shades decorated with lace.

DIY chandelier plafond photo

Shabby chic chandelier shade

You can create dramatic lighting in a room by making a lamp from fabric or beads. The result of your work will be a chandelier-chandelier or shabby chic lamp.

To do this, you will need the following materials:

  • Wire, metal hanging planters, old hoops or garden basket, from which you can make a frame;
  • Lamp holder;
  • Decorative chains and strong threads;
  • Various beads and beads.

The plafond, made according to the technology discussed below, is a two- or three-level structure of several rings, which are located one above the other and connected by wire or chains. Depending on the size of the rings you choose, the style in which your shade will be executed will depend. If you take rings of different sizes, you can create a shade in the style of a vintage classic, and by opting for rings of the same size, you can become the owner of an Art Nouveau lamp.

Important! Before proceeding with the decorative design of the lamp, which involves stringing beads, paint and wind the frame with decorative materials.

Consider the consumption of beads during the implementation of this project:

  • In the process of making the lower part of the lampshade, you will need 15 beads with a diameter of 16 mm per thread;
  • In the process of making the upper part, you will need beads with a diameter of 12 mm at a consumption of 31-32 pieces per thread.
  • By stringing the beads onto a string, you can vary the number of strands and the degree of tension.

Similarly to the described method, you can make a shade for a chandelier made of artificial fruits. To create the effect of subdued lighting, a thick fabric must be used for sheathing the frame. A lampshade made using this technique will become an original addition to a country or Provence style kitchen.

Shades for chandeliers in the style of minimalism

A lamp shade for a chandelier made of plastic cans or bottles will become one of the most original lampshades made of waste materials. By making a plafond in this way, you are betting not only on beauty and cheapness, but also on environmental friendliness.

Due to the fact that for the manufacture of such a lamp shade for a chandelier you will not need additional decorations, such as beads or threads, it will be made in hi-tech or minimalist style, and you will not be faced with the question: "How to decorate a chandelier shade with your own hands?" ... In order to make such a shade, which will become the main element of the muted lighting of the room, you only need colored or matte white plastic.

To make it, you will need the following materials:

  • Base from a 5 liter plastic bottle;
  • A large number of disposable spoons;
  • Socket with lamp and wire;
  • The glue required for high-quality fixation of the product elements;

To make a lamp from plastic materials in the style of minimalism, you need to cut off the bottom of a plastic bottle, and handles for plastic spoons, and this must be done in such a way that they have a small handle. Using glue, fix the cut spoons to the bottle serving as the base. To achieve the most attractive and organic homemade lampshade, arrange them in an orderly manner, in rows. Each next row must be overlapped, leaving no gaps that can ruin the appearance of the lampshade.

When the chandelier is ready, you will notice that it resembles fish scales. It is important to remember that the design of the plafond is characterized by a sufficiently high density, and therefore, the lighting will become so dim that, most likely, you will need to place additional lamps in the room.

The shape of the luminaire can be different. One of the options involves a lotus-shaped lamp. However, other, no less original decorations can be made from plastic spoons.

Another option for lighting fixtures made, one might say, from waste, is a shade for a chandelier made from the bottoms of plastic bottles. It will appear lacy and, at first glance, consist of many small flowers.

Important! A lampshade made of plastic bottles can be not only white, but also colored - therefore, you will need to choose a colored bottle or paint the finished product in the desired color: from gold, copper and steel to pink and black. If you hang a ready-made lampshade in the kitchen above the table, it will be a great addition to the dining area.

A variety of ideas for decorating chandelier shades with your own hands

How to dim the lights in a room?

One of the "tools" for creating an intimate atmosphere in the room is the organization of dim lighting, and the main way to implement this venture are lampshades, which first appeared more than two hundred years ago and replaced their predecessors - dampers for candles and torches. If earlier they were made only of fabric, then today crystal and broken glass are used for their decorative design. Today, the art of design has reached the apogee of its development, as a result of which the decorative design of hand-made products can be carried out using almost any materials.

Important! Today, a designer in the process of his work is not limited in the choice of materials for decor - in the process of making lampshades, he can use any details. At the same time, it is important to preserve a sense of proportion and taste by creating harmonious combinations of decorative elements.

A cozy hand-knitted lampshade will be the best gift for a mother or grandmother.

Original lampshades for handmade sconces

Sconces are multifunctional wall lights. Thanks to the diffused and dim light they create, they can be placed in recreation areas and not be afraid for their eyesight. Today there are modern sconces that involve regulation of the flow of light into the room. Such models must be installed in rooms, during the operation of which it is necessary to change the direction of light flows. If you want to become the owner of designer, unusual sconces, create them yourself. Hand-made wall lamps, during the creation of which you can show your individuality, will most successfully fit into the holistic concept of the interior of your room.

Sconces made of branches are distinguished not only by their quick and easy production, but also by their original appearance.

The style of do-it-yourself lampshades can be different and depends on the stylistic concept of the interior in which you plan to place them. In this regard, we can safely say that the answer to the question: "How to paint the ceiling of a chandelier with your own hands?" strictly individual.

The baby's room can be decorated with a sconce in the shape of a birdhouse. To do this, it is enough to fix the birdhouse on the wall and bring a lamp with a shade into the middle.

DIY decorative LED lamps

Due to the growing popularity of LED lamps, they are used not only in work, but also in households. One of the advantages of LED lamps is the ability to make them yourself. To make an LED structure at home, you need separate LEDs that are installed in the body of a faulty lamp equipped with a power supply.

To replace a traditional incandescent lamp with an LED one, you do not need to dismantle the luminaire or make adjustments to its design. Self-made LED lamps are most often part of decorative lighting, more often - the central element of ceiling lighting.

A variety of materials can be used to make stylish LED lighting fixtures:

  • metal;
  • the cloth;
  • beads;
  • LED Strip Light;
  • old lamps.

Variety of LED lamps

LED lights made from fabric can be used to decorate rooms and even clothing displayed at fashion shows. The use of LEDs allows you to place the necessary accents on your tapestry.

This DIY beaded LED lamp will become a work of art, eye-catching and delighting others. Beads can be used to make both small table lamps and large-scale decorative panels with backlit beads.

If you plan to use a handmade lamp as a decorative piece when decorating an interior in a classic style, it is recommended to use metal elements for the base in the process of making it.

The procedure for the manufacture of LED lamp from LED strip

The LED strip is a flexible board with built-in LEDs and current limiting resistors. You can cut a section of the tape to the required length to make the luminaire. The supply wires are soldered to the contact pads located next to the cut lines. There is an adhesive tape on the back of the board. You can use ordinary scissors to cut the tape.

As a body for a homemade lamp, you can use an old, used lamp.

The procedure for making an LED lamp from an old lamp is not difficult.

Disassemble the old lamp by gluing LED strip to its inner surface. A printed circuit board removed from an old lamp can be used as a power supply for a new lamp. The instruction for the manufacture of the lamp presented in our article assumes the use of a transformerless power supply equipped with a ballast capacitor.

A lamp made in accordance with the diagram presented is suitable for illuminating the working area.

After completing a selection of circuit elements, place them on the board. In this case, unnecessary parts from the old luminaire must be removed. After that, connect the tape to the power supply, assemble the lamp and connect it to the network.

LED lamps are more relevant than ever. They can become both the central lighting element of the room and its decorative component. After reading our article, you are convinced that making lamps with your own hands is a fairly simple and, at the same time, creative event, and as for the use of homemade lamps, you can find it yourself.

The originality of the interior design of a kitchen, bedroom or any other room can be determined by the presence of even a small accessory, the main thing is that it is rare or exclusive. This can be a do-it-yourself photo frame, a candlestick, a table for a phone, a floor vase, a lamp or a chandelier.

There are enough options for the execution of an unusual lamp for a living room or kitchen, you just have to turn on your imagination and it doesn't matter if your fantasy doesn't tell you anything. You can use the step-by-step instructions for making any model you like by studying the master class. Materials for making an unusual accessory can be found even without leaving your own home.

So, let's begin…

Homemade chandeliers or lighting fixtures can vary in materials or in how they are made. You can make a chandelier out of anything and for this it is not necessary to go to the nearest shopping mall, such materials can be found at home:

  • paper;
  • threads;
  • disks;
  • disposable tableware;
  • plastic bottles;
  • barbecue sticks;
  • hangers;
  • newspapers and glue;
  • cardboard;
  • felt hats and more.

The choice of material may completely depend on your imagination or the future model of the lamp - on the availability of certain materials.

You can make a lamp, chandelier or plafond in different ways:

  • in origami or papier-mâché technique;
  • using carving or embossing;
  • using weaving or lowering;
  • in crochet or macrame technique;
  • by connecting identical fragments.

The manufacturing technique will directly depend on the selected material.

Chandelier made of barbecue sticks

Having wood sticks at hand (ordinary barbecue sticks are ideal), organza ribbons and glue, you can make an original plafond with your own hands, which will wonderfully decorate the interior of your kitchen if it is decorated in the appropriate style or has some of its details.

Making such a chandelier for the kitchen at home is not difficult:

  1. Sticks are laid out along the perimeter of the square and connected with glue. The lesson is quite painstaking, but an excellent result awaits you. The height of the plafond will depend on your desire, the height of the ceiling in the room or the amount of material.
  2. The upper part of the plafond must be glued with cut-off sticks (so that their ends do not protrude), laying them crosswise or parallel, leaving a hole of the required size for the cartridge in the middle.
  3. After the glue dries, you can start decorating the product.
  4. At the protruding ends of the sticks, multi-colored organza ribbons are tied; you should not skimp on their number. Several ribbons can be threaded between the sticks in the corners and in the middle of the product.
  5. You can hang the plafond on a hook placed on the ceiling of your kitchen using the same tapes, and fix the cartridge in it through the hole left.

Chandelier made of cardboard

Simple cardboard can be used to make an unusual chandelier that will become an exquisite touch to your interior design.

A small master class will show you how to make it:

  1. Using a printed stencil, two identical parts are cut out with slots for their connection in the center and connected into a single whole.
  2. If the color of the cardboard is not what we would like, the parts are painted before assembling the chandelier.
  3. In order for the chandelier to be assembled firmly, the points of its connection should be duplicated with wire or strong thread through the holes made in advance.
  4. To the ceiling, the chandelier is attached to chains through which the power cord is threaded.
  5. Chains and cord are painted to match the chandelier.
  6. The junction of the cord with the cartridge is hidden under a plastic glass, also painted to match the chandelier.

By the same principle, you can make a chandelier made of plastic or hardboard with your own hands. It will be much stronger, but it will be quite difficult to cut parts with scissors; it is better to use a jigsaw.

You can decorate such a chandelier with any elements. For example, paint the flame of candles with glitter varnish, decorate the bowls of candlesticks with sequins or lace. Pendants, rhinestones or fabric flowers are also appropriate.

Luminaire made of laser discs

If there are many laser disks left in the house, which are a pity to throw away, but they are no longer suitable as information carriers, you can make an original chandelier, shade or lamp out of them. The design of the accessory will depend only on your imagination, materials at hand and the number of accumulated discs.

What is required

To make an original lamp from discs, you will need two round wood planks of different thicknesses, which are slightly larger in diameter than discs, wooden or metal stands. You also need a fluorescent lamp of the required length, a magnetic starter and the actual disks. Planks made of wood can be ordered from a familiar carpenter or cut with your own hands, racks can be purchased nickel-plated.

How to make

We make a hole in a plate with a large thickness, install a starter with a switch and connect it to the lamp. Further, discs are strung on the lamp in the required quantity, stands are installed around the discs and the upper part is attached.

Thus, the old carriers in the form of an original lamp made of discs will serve the owners for a long time.

Chandelier "Birch Leaves" from plastic bottles

A chandelier made in the form of leaves will look quite unusual in any interior. How to make it yourself - the master class will show you. It is made from ordinary plastic bottles, the color of which you can choose at your discretion.

Instructions step by step:

  1. Bottles are cut into pieces of any size chosen for future leaflets.
  2. Each blank needs to be shaped like a leaf.
  3. Using a soldering iron with a thick tip and a one-sided bevel, it is necessary to melt the sections of each workpiece so that the future leaves look more impressive.
  4. Also, with the edge of the sting, it is necessary to give the workpiece the structure of a leaf. This should be done very carefully, as you can easily melt a hole in the plastic. A leaf with traced veins and melted cuts will look complete. Since the plastic bottle has a cylindrical shape and when heated, the plastic is deformed, as a result, the leaves are very effective.
  5. A red-hot needle melts several holes for fastening at the base of each leaf.
  6. Twigs are formed using a thin wire and screwed to a steel wire frame.

If you make a new leaf-shaped chandelier as a shade for a floor lamp or table lamp, it will be a harmonious addition to a chandelier that turns a room into a forest.
