How to make fashionable blinds with your own hands from the remnants of wallpaper. DIY roller blinds from wallpaper and fabric: step by step instructions How to make blinds from old wallpaper

Wallpaper blinds are often used on windows in the country, on a loggia, veranda, balcony, and for rooms that are on the sunny side. They can also be hung on windows during renovations or if you simply do not have enough funds. They are quite original, and the costs for them are minimal. It doesn't take a lot of time to make paper blinds, just a few hours will be enough.

To make blinds from wallpaper with your own hands, you need materials.

Namely:

  • Remains of wallpaper;
  • Scissors;
  • Roulette;
  • Ruler;
  • Clamp;
  • Plain and double-sided tape;
  • Hole punch or awl;
  • Rope;
  • The end piece, which can be a bead.

Step-by-step instructions will help to make blinds from paper wallpaper. First you need to measure the window with a tape measure. Add 30-40 cm to the length of the window. When you have completely decided on the dimensions, using a knife and a ruler, cut a piece of wallpaper to the required length. If the window is wider than the wallpaper, you can glue the two canvases with double-sided tape.

The prepared material must be folded in the form of an accordion with a stripe width of 3-5 cm. Try on the workpiece to the window and, if necessary, cut off the excess. In the center of the made accordion, use an awl to pierce a hole.

Pass a strong rope through the hole, secure everything with tape and cut off the unnecessary end of the rope. Double-sided tape is used to secure the blinds. It is glued to the upper strip of the accordion, and only half of the lower one is glued. The lower part must be fanned together. At the end of the thread, put on a retainer with a limit switch, and the already completely made blinds are glued to the window. Ready-made curtains from the wallpaper can be decorated with rhinestones, butterflies or drawings. When used carefully, these curtains will last long enough.

  2. To make the bottom heavier, you need to stick thick cardboard on the bottom.
  3. Glue the top to the sash with double-sided tape and fix the blinds with any tight clothespin of the required size.

There are many more ways to make such blinds, in which a different design, mechanism of operation or decorative addition.

  • Do not allow the sun's rays to enter the room;
  • Decorate windows in an original way;
  • You can draw any picture you like;
  • Do not interfere with flowers that are on the windowsill;
  • Economical to manufacture.

It is necessary to very carefully combine the blinds from the wallpaper with the curtains. Not every fabric looks attractive against their background. It is better to get good wallpapers that you can paint and make them match the curtains as much as possible.

Inexpensive and beautiful: wallpaper blinds

To date, do-it-yourself blinds from various wallpapers have become often used in the house. This is not only an original and affordable interior element, but also protection from the pesky sun and curious alike.

Since this material is quite specific, it is not recommended to use it in the kitchen and other household premises.

Despite the fact that paper blinds have a number of advantages, they also have minor disadvantages:

  • Short service life;
  • Fast wear;
  • When compared with analogues, they have a cheap look.

Many people choose blinds from wallpaper for some reason. Even if you made blinds from expensive wallpaper, they will cost much less than store counterparts. It takes very little time to create such blinds. If you wish, you can change them as many times as you like, the main thing is to have a lot of wallpaper leftovers. Good wallpapers are processed using various impregnations, so they repel dirt and dust, which prolongs their operational life.

The light filters are attached to the window sashes, thanks to which the window sill is freed and they do not interfere with the curtains. The way the blinds are installed allows them to be removed and reinstalled as often as necessary, without damaging the window sashes.

In winter, you want light, and the curtains on the window move as far as possible. And in the summer you need to hide from the scorching sun and protect the interior of the apartment from its rays. There are blinds for this. They were invented in hot countries - in India, in Spain. They do not let in the scorching light of the sun and close the room from prying eyes. In this article, we'll talk about how to make them from wallpaper with your own hands.

Blinds in our climate are widespread in offices, shops, in our own apartments. They are easy to buy, but there is an opportunity to save your money and make them yourself from wallpaper. Everything you need for this is in every home. After all, after the repair, there are always unclaimed rolls. These curtains are needed for apartment windows, balconies, summer cottages. If there is not enough leftover material for all the windows, then they can be bought in addition in stores for repairs.

Advice! Ask the seller for discounted rolls left over from the sale. They are excellent in quality, and the price is much lower.

It is easy for any person to make them on their own. Everything you need for this is in any home.

First of all, you need to decide which wallpaper to make the product from. They should be strong, but not too thick. You need to pay attention to their pattern so that it is in harmony with the color of the curtains, furniture of the room. An interesting option when they are made of the same wallpaper with which the room is pasted over.

The first way

For work you need:

  • a roll of paper wallpaper with a length of at least 1500 mm;
  • scissors;
  • meter ruler and pencil;
  • cord 1.5-2 mm thick;
  • awl;
  • double sided tape;
  • retainer;
  • decorative tape.

We measure the window. Blinds can consist of one wide strip or two narrow ones. The width of the strip should be equal to the width of the window, the length should be equal to the height of the window plus 25%.

It is more convenient to work on a large area. Cut off a strip of wallpaper of the desired size, lay it out on the table, place weights at the ends so that the roll does not roll up.

The strip must be folded with an accordion of 3-15 cm. To make the accordion neat, you need to draw the wallpaper along a ruler. First, place points on the selected width on both sides of the piece. Then connect them with a ruler. In childhood, many people made toys by folding paper like an accordion, so the process is clear to everyone.

We make the first folds using the edge of the ruler. We apply a ruler to the line, bend it. Draw the side of the scissors or a blunt knife along the fold line so that it is clear and fixed.

    Save

When the whole accordion is ready, stepping back 15 cm from both ends, we make holes with an awl through which the cord will be pulled through to lower and raise the curtain. If you are planning a wide strip for the entire window, then make more holes in the middle so that the blinds do not bend. If the curtain is narrow, then the holes are made in the middle of the strip, but on the sides it is not necessary.

The next step is to pull the cord into the holes with a large needle or crochet. Its tips need to be melted, the lower edge fixed in a retainer, you can buy or cut from an old jacket. It is needed to keep the curtains at the correct length.

On this, you can finish the production by decorating them with a satin ribbon, tying a bow out of it. The bottom of the curtain will be straight and horizontal.

You can finish the blinds with a peacock tail. If a rope is threaded through the middle, then the opposite ends are connected together and glued, a beautiful fan is obtained.

There are windows of complex shape - at the top there is a window in the form of an arch. Then they can be made in the form of a fan, as at the end of the curtain, and the window can be closed completely. If the arch consists of two half-arches separated by a wooden partition, then we make two half-fans and close each half-arch.

If there is no need to close the entire window, but you need to shade part of the room, then we make a fan of the required size and close part of the window. We fix the blinds from the wallpaper on the window with double-sided tape, it can withstand up to 3 kg. You can make another homemade mount - then glue a strip of thick cardboard to the last accordion, use nails or other fastening material.

Second way

There is another, more complex way of making curtains from wallpaper. They provide better protection from the sun because they are double:

  • Wallpaper must be cut into strips with a 100 mm busbar.
  • The strips are twisted and glued into tubes, the number of them must be sufficient to cover the entire window.
  • After drying, the tubes are compressed into a flat lamella with clear ribs, and the place of gluing is placed on top in the middle.
  • The tubes are coated in the middle with glue and glued to each other in a high stack. To avoid smudging and leakage of the glue, dry glue is used.
  • After complete drying, holes are made at a distance of 15 cm. Ropes are passed through them, the lower ends of which are clamped with a retainer. Thanks to these cords, the blinds can be raised and lowered.
  • Attach them to two plastic rings and hang them on nails driven into the window frame. Or simply glued with double-sided tape.

Roller blinds: DIY step-by-step instructions

Blinds or roller blinds. How to make them yourself? This method is the easiest. No need to fold the wallpaper into an accordion, no need to pierce holes and pull a cord through them.

You need to measure a piece of wallpaper two lengths of the window plus another quarter:

  1. The cut piece is folded in half for strength, glued at the ends with glue or double-sided tape.
  2. At the edges, pockets are folded back and stitched with a stapler. Weights are threaded through them - wooden planks.
  3. A tape of two lengths of curtains is attached to the upper pocket. Thrown on both sides.
  4. Blinds are glued to the window with tape. They are made in the same way, you can only take a different number of tapes that hold the roll. You can take one wide ribbon, reinforce it in the middle, unfold the curtain to the desired length and tie a beautiful bow. Or, tie two ribbons on the sides of the roll with a bow at the same height from the windowsill. The roller blinds are ready.

Master class for making blinds from newspapers

The manufacturing process of this type is the most difficult and most time consuming.

    Save

You will need:

  • newspapers;
  • beautiful cord;
  • two plastic rings;
  • rope;
  • Crochet hook;
  • paints, brushes for coloring newspaper tubes.

For blinds, up to 200 newspaper tubes 400 mm long must be screwed onto a standard window. Long tubules can be trimmed on the fly.

Master class: the newspaper is wound on a thin metal rod, usually a knitting needle is taken. Having rolled a piece of newspaper on it, they glue the edge of it. All straws should dry well. Then they are painted with acrylic paint. It is recommended to add PVA glue 3 to 1.

After painting and drying, the most crucial moment comes. A large number of small round tubes need to be connected into a strong canvas.

The first method of connection: fasten the tubes, intertwining with a rope, making one or two knots. It is advisable to lubricate each unit with glue for greater strength. You need to start from the top of the curtain. The rope should be almost twice the length of the curtain. We tie the upper end to a plastic ring. Now you need to intertwine both ends of the cord from the inside and outside.

    Save

The second option is used by those who know how to crochet at least a simple chain. This method is more reliable, the tubes are tightly held by a cord chain, do not untie and do not stretch.

At the bottom, the cord is tied to a knot, we coat it with glue for strength. We lay out the canvas on a flat surface and align the tubes, cutting off too long.

Drive nails or special hooks into the window frame. It is easy to hang the canvas on them by the plastic rings. In any case, the curtains are easy to remove on a cloudy or rainy day.

In order not to remove the blinds completely, you can take a beautiful satin ribbon, strengthen it on top and lower the curtains on both sides. At the bottom, at the desired height, tie the ribbons into a knot and knit a beautiful bow. These homemade curtains are an option for roller blinds.

Blinds repair

Old faded plastic, paper or wood blinds can be restored with wallpaper. It is necessary to choose the wallpaper that best suits the interior of the apartment, enlivens and decorates it.

You will need:

  • wallpaper;
  • old blinds;
  • PVA glue;
  • scissors;
  • ruler;
  • pencil.

On old curtains we measure the width, length and number of slats. Draw the same stripes on a roll of wallpaper. We mark the places of the holes in the old blinds in order to make cuts later. Cut out the strips and glue them onto the old slats. Cut into three parts at the holes. We try to glue one by one, without disturbing the wallpaper pattern.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Paper Blinds

Homemade paper curtains have several advantages:

  • Low material cost in comparison with real blinds. Often you don't have to spend money on wallpaper, as they remain after repair. But even if you buy an expensive roll of wallpaper, it will still cost you a lot less.
  • No need for wet cleaning.
  • Ease of manufacture.
  • Easy to replace old or damaged paper curtains.
  • Easy to attach and remove from the window.

However, the obvious disadvantage can be called a short service life, quick wear. Wallpaper with a high probability will fade in the sun, which is why it will soon lose its original appearance. Since they cannot be wiped with a damp sponge, if they are heavily soiled, they will simply need to be disposed of. Also, due to the fragility of the material, if handled carelessly, paper curtains can be torn very easily. This flaw can turn into a virtue if you like to change accents in the interior often.

Another disadvantage can be the cheap appearance of the product. Although in this case, much depends on the quality and color of the wallpaper itself, the craftsmanship, and how harmoniously they fit into the design of the room.

Installation methods and work planning

To determine the required size of the wallpaper cut, it is necessary to consider the mounting options. Classic blinds can be installed outside or inside the window opening.

  1. External mount. The width of the roll should be 10 cm wider than the opening. This mounting option is advisable with a very narrow window sill.
  2. Internal fastening to the width of the window. In this case, the width of the wallpaper matches the width of the opening. This option is also convenient with a narrow window sill.
  3. Fastening to the window frame. In this case, the width of the paper roll must match (+/- 2 cm) with the width of the frame. This method of fastening is optimal with a wide window sill in order to maintain its functionality, and the most acceptable in the case of homemade paper wallpaper.

Installation options for classic blinds.

In our master class, he will consider how to make paper blinds step by step with fastening to the window frame. Therefore, at the planning stage, make the appropriate measurements of the window, compare the width of the opening with the width of the roll. If the window has non-standard dimensions, it may be more rational to make paper curtains from two pieces.

Required materials and tools

To create budgetary, original blinds, you will need the following materials and tools:

  1. Roll of wallpaper.
  2. Tape measure / ruler from 50 cm.
  3. Decorative cord or tape matching the color to the wallpaper.
  4. Scissors.
  5. A piece of double-sided tape.
  6. Retainers.
  7. Hole punch (awl).

For the manufacture of blinds from wallpaper, only medium-density paper varieties are suitable. Vinyl wallpaper will be extremely difficult to fold and use.

Phased production of paper curtains

When the measurements are made, the plan is drawn up, and the tools and materials are at hand, you can start making blinds from the wallpaper with your own hands, following the clear step-by-step instructions with photo examples.

  1. Mark the window height on the wallpaper, then add at least another 25% of this segment. Part of the extra length will go to the "accordion", the other part - to the mount.
  2. Draw on a piece of strips of the future accordion up to 3-5 cm wide.If the width of the folds is larger, the curtains will look very untidy. The stripes should be perfectly straight. Fold the accordion so that the entire section turns into a narrow strip. Cut off excess.
  3. Wallpaper accordion.

  4. Next, holes need to be made in the accordion. There can be two options: to make classic blinds, you need to make two holes at the edges of the roll, to make a swag (a decorative element in the form of a "peacock's tail"), you need to make one hole in the center of the wallpaper. Regardless of whether you make two or one hole, it should be at least 10 mm away from the edge of the folds.
  5. Holes in the wallpaper accordion.

    It is advisable to use a special hole punch to pierce the hole in order to get neat punctures and not to bend / damage the paper. In everyday life, a hole punch is often replaced with an awl or screwdriver, but in this case, you need to work very carefully so as not to bend the wallpaper.

    Using a screwdriver to pierce the holes.

  6. You need to thread a string or tape through the hole. A small secure knot should be made at the top edge. The length of the cord after tying the knot should be equal to the length of the piece of paper. You need to attach clamps to the lower end and cut off the excess.
  7. The clamps can act as standard clips for ropes and cords, decorative clothespins, beads, paper clips and other devices. You can not use clamps at all, but fix the height of the blinds by tying decorative bows made of rope or ribbon.

    An example of blinds lace fasteners.

  8. Glue double-sided tape to the top edge of the piece of paper (at the same time fixing the rope knot). The protective film on the other side of the adhesive tape does not need to be removed for now.
  9. If you want to make a decorative version with a fan at the bottom, you will need a piece of double-sided tape up to 20 cm long, the width should be less than the width of the accordion folds. The tape must be glued to one side of the lower fold, then remove the protective film and connect both halves of the accordion, as shown in the photo:
  10. Bonding double-sided tape on one side of the accordion fold.

    Gluing the folds of the accordion into a fan.

  11. At the end, it is necessary to tear off the second protective film from the tape at the upper edge of the structure and attach the curtains to the window sash.

During operation, the lower fold of the curtain (unless it is made in the form of a fan) will deform and deteriorate the fastest. To extend its life, you can glue a strip of cardboard to the lower accordion (before making the holes). This will make the entire structure heavier, therefore, when lifting the blinds, they will need to be additionally fixed with clothespins.

In general, the whole process consists of the steps shown in the illustration:

An affordable way to make original roller blinds yourself is to buy wallpaper or find an old roll in your closet. With ordinary wallpaper, you can make exclusive blinds that will decorate your interior, protect you from the sun and save you money.

Advantages of wallpaper roller blinds

  • Saving. The price of good blinds in a store starts from 2,000 rubles, depending on the size and material. You can make a paper version by spending about 300 rubles on tools. The lifespan of homemade roller blinds will be lower, but even an annual replacement will be much more profitable.
  • Stylish decoration element. Choose a beautiful wallpaper that will fit into the overall interior of your room. You can make a unique design that will look great in any room. All your guests will definitely pay attention to it.
  • Protection. Homemade blinds will perform their main function - to protect the room from the sun's rays, the looks of strangers.
  • Ease of manufacture. It will take you about two to three hours to make the paper blinds.
  • Easy to care for. Washable wallpaper can be purchased and wiped clean with a damp cloth.
  • The ability to install blinds on any windows: wood, plastic or aluminum.

How to make blinds at home

In order not to be distracted by trips to stores during the manufacturing process and not to make mistakes, immediately familiarize yourself with the principle of work. Prepare all tools in advance. If you are in doubt that you can handle it alone, call for help. Carry out all the necessary measurements and start creating original roller blinds that will delight you for at least a year.

Tools and materials

Most likely, you will find all the materials at home, and you do not have to go to the store:

  • Wallpaper. You can use leftover wallpaper or buy new ones. The material of the wallpaper is dense, so it is perfect as a sun protection mechanism.
  • Meter ruler, centimeter, pencil - will be needed for measurement.
  • Sharp scissors, stationery knife.
  • Awl to pierce holes. Can be replaced with another sharp object such as a hole punch.
  • Cord, string, or decorative tape if you want to decorate your blinds.
  • A latch to secure the blinds. An item of clothing, which is often found on the laces of the hood of a sweatshirt, is suitable as a retainer. In addition, the retainer can be replaced with a small clothespin that matches the color of the wallpaper or the overall style of the room.
  • Double sided tape.
  • Glue.

Roller blinds size

Once you have assembled all the necessary fixtures, proceed with measuring the window and curtain. Measure the length and width of the glass to which you plan to attach the blinds. The width of the curtain will be the same as that of the window, but the length should be different - additional centimeters are needed to form folds. To do this, add a quarter of this number to the obtained value of the length of the glass. For example, if the length of the window is 1000 mm, then add another 250 mm - this will be the length of your canvas.

Accessories for roller blinds

Correctly chosen fittings will make the curtain easy to use and create an attractive appearance. You can choose as fittings:

  • Cornice. It will act as an interior decoration. Such accessories are expensive, suitable for a living room or bedroom. If you have small windows and want to visually expand the space, then choose cornices 30-40 cm wider than the window. You can also hang the cornice just above the window opening.
  • Runners, hooks. Economical, simple option for the kitchen. You will not have any problems with the choice of sliders - they are all the same by the method of fastening. You will only have to decide on the appearance.
  • Brackets, chains. The chain mechanism is very user-friendly and popular. Brackets are a sturdy structure to which the shaft is mounted. If the blinds are made of thick wallpaper, then it is better to choose long brackets.
  • Ropes. The rope mechanism is inexpensive and simple in execution: for this, sew rings to the side panels, pass the threads through them. Secure them to the bottom of the curtain.
  • Weights. Serve as a weighting agent. Such a decorative accessory will allow you to focus on the entire roll structure. All models have a different color, shape, size, style, so you can choose the appropriate option for your blinds.
  • Additional fittings: handles, decorative strips, other details.

Types of mechanisms

There are two types of roller blinds fastening: open and closed:

  1. When the type is open, a cassette roller is visible on which the web is wound. The shaft is fastened between two holders. This type of mechanism will allow you to fix the curtains above the window opening and in the opening itself. You can control the curtains from the wallpaper using a spring mechanism or a chain. Double-sided tape can act as a retainer. The disadvantage of this design is that the adhesive layer can melt during heat. Therefore, it is better to use self-tapping screws or screws. The open type of fastening is a budget option that is available to anyone.
  2. The closed type differs from the first in the presence of a box that masks the cassette shaft, protects it from dust and dirt, and gives the structure a neat appearance. This system is suitable for plastic, wood and aluminum windows. The system can only be mounted with a 15 ° tilt. The closed type of mechanism is more complicated and more expensive than the open one. Installation is carried out by drilling the frame. The control method can be by means of a chain, a spring mechanism or an electric drive. The latter allows you to adjust the degree of illumination remotely using the remote control.

Set of accessories

In order to install paper curtains with your own hands, you will need the following components:

  • plastic or metal box, its guiding element;
  • caps for the box;
  • chain, if a manual mechanism is provided;
  • chain connectors;
  • brackets;
  • a clamp that will fix the roller curtains at any distance;
  • adhesive tape (double-sided tape), holders, supports for attaching the shaft to the ceiling;
  • clip bracket, if provided with a spring mechanism.

DIY wallpaper curtains - step by step instructions

If you decide to decorate your apartment with homemade blinds, then below is a detailed master class on how to make roller blinds from wallpaper:

  1. Removing window measurements. Calculate the window parameters carefully with a centimeter. When calculating the height of the curtain, do not forget to add a quarter of the total height of the window.
  2. Preparing and cutting a roll of wallpaper.
    • Free the table from unnecessary items, spread the wallpaper. The edges can curl, so place something heavy on them. Mark the required canvas markings.
    • After that, you need to mark the canvas for the size of the folds. The optimal stripe width is 3 to 5 cm. To keep the stripes even, connect the lines with a ruler and pencil. There is a more complicated way of making strips by cutting them.
    • Assemble the curtain along the lines using the edge of the ruler.
    • Once the accordion is ready, find the middle of the blinds and punch a hole with an awl or hole punch. If another model is selected, then make two holes along the edges of the blinds, stepping back 15 cm.
    • Pass a cord or rope through the hole. Fuse the edges of the rope beforehand. Fix the lower part of the rope in the retainer, leaving the tail 4-5 cm - there will be a margin to stretch the curtain in length. Extra centimeters can be tied in a knot or bow. Use duct tape to secure the string to the top fold of the curtain. Glue double-sided tape on the same fold - there will be a fastener to the window.
    • To make the design more reliable, you can use a wooden batten. The upper edge of the wallpaper is glued to it, and a cord is threaded through the holes made.
    • If the model has a rope in the middle, then the lower part of the curtains can be fixed in the form of a fan. To do this, pull the rope down, and fasten the dropped edges together with glue, double-sided tape or a decorative clothespin. The result is a nice design.
    • Slide the one-hole clip onto the rope. Pull the latch up to raise the shade. To close the window back, slide the mount down the rope.

  1. Edging. To make the curtains last as long as possible, reinforce the edges of the wallpaper with self-adhesive tape or tape.
  2. Fixing the top edge in the roller mechanism. The roller blinds are fixed with adhesive tape on the frame of the plastic window. In addition, you can screw in self-tapping screws or hooks. If you want to fix the blinds to the wall, then use screws. At the bottom, you can hang special magnets that will not allow the bottom edge to dangle.
  3. Fastening a curtain rod with a curtain in the window opening. If there is a cornice in the configuration, then you need to know a few nuances about its fastening:
    • The distance from the side walls to the eaves may vary depending on the type of construction.
    • If the curtains turned out to be light, then they can be fixed above the window. If you hang the weighting elements and the blinds turn out to be voluminous, then it is better to attach the cornice to the wall.
    • Place the curtain rod so that it does not interfere with the opening and closing of the window. Secure it a few centimeters above the window opening.
    • On the wall, mark the places where the holes for the cornice will be drilled with a drill. Fix the short cornice on two brackets. If the cornice is long, then it is better to install the additional bracket in the center.
  4. Fastening decorative weights along the bottom edge of the curtain. It is better to fasten the lower edge of the curtain so that it becomes more reliable and does not bend. To do this, glue the cardboard on the seamy side. The end of the rope or bottom fold can be decorated with a decorative weight.

To begin with, we have a small apartment with windows facing the sunny side. If there is no sun in the morning, then it is quite comfortable to be at home. But in the afternoon, especially in hot weather, it gets unbearably hot. The air heats up from the window panes and it becomes impossible to breathe. I found a way out of this situation and decided to make the blinds with my own hands from ordinary vinyl wallpaper that remained after the repair. Wallpaper blinds perfectly protect the apartment from the scorching sun, and if you close them in time, it will be quite comfortable to stay at home in the evening. In this case, there will be no complete blackout, because in fact it is paper. So, first we measure the width of the window and if the roll of wallpaper is too wide, then we cut it off along the edge. The length of the cut itself will be slightly more than the height of the glass part of the window (approximately one and a half times more). Next, you need to make a kind of "accordion" (see photo). It is not necessary to make the "accordion" small, but it will also be badly wide. The most optimal fold width is about 4 centimeters.

In the process of folding the "accordion", make sure that it is not tilted to the side. You need to navigate around the edges and do each fold carefully.

Now we take double-sided tape and glue it to the top of our blinds.

Now we take two pieces of rope and thread it through the holes (see photo).

We attach clamps to the lower ends of the rope. These clips can be purchased at any sewing department. They will act as latches so that our blinds can be raised and lowered.

Our blinds are almost ready. It remains only to fix them on the window. To do this, we open the second surface of the tape and carefully glue the blinds to the frame.

That's all! The blinds are ready. This is a fairly economical way that does not take long to get rid of the scorching sun.
