The disadvantages of ceilings with carved canvases include a higher cost compared to conventional film structures. The cost of 1 sq. M of ceilings with artistic perforation is in the range of 1100-2500 rubles, depending on the complexity of the design, while the minimum price for ordinary film ceilings is 300 rubles per 1 sq. M.

Features of installation of tension structures with cut-out canvases

Before starting work on the installation of the ceiling, it is necessary to lay all the necessary communications: electrical wires for built-in lamps, chandeliers, ventilation. Then, the location of the fastening baguettes is marked. To do this, mark the height of future ceilings on one of the walls and transfer it to the remaining walls with the help of a chopping cord and a building level. The resulting markings are connected by lines along which the profile is attached.

There are several ways to attach carved canvases:

• the Apply 40 profile method is used if you plan to install LED backlighting. In this case, the baguettes are at a distance of 40 mm from each other, and the thickness of the tension structure will be 120 mm;
• to obtain a structure, the carved and background layers of which are located close to each other, apply the Apply 0 profile. The height of the ceiling structure will be 30 mm;
• if it is necessary to arrange the canvases at a distance of 8 mm from each other, then apply the Apply 8 profile. The height of the stretch ceiling will be 30 mm;
• for high rooms or when creating multi-level structures with canvases at different heights, standard baguettes are used for h-shaped tension structures. In this case, the distance of the canvases can be different, there can be more than two layers.

Regardless of the type of baguette, the one-piece sheet is attached to the inner groove, the cut sheet is inserted into the groove located closer to the wall. During the installation process, the air in the room is heated with a heat gun, the films become elastic and stretch well.

When choosing a pattern, it should be borne in mind that round holes under tension can slightly change their shape. The canvases are fastened crosswise, starting from the corner of the room. After cooling, the films form a flat surface with decorative cutouts.
