How to connect a five-arm chandelier. Complete instructions for installing and connecting the chandelier How to assemble a 5 arm chandelier

Before figuring out how to assemble a chandelier yourself, you need to decide on its design features.

The mechanical part of the lighting device, as a rule, does not have significant differences, regardless of the model.

However, some important characteristics can vary significantly, so they must be taken into account during the installation and connection process.

The standard "classic" version of the ceiling chandelier includes a complete set of all technological elements, which, as a rule, are represented by several main functional details:

  • The so-called ceiling bowl. Such a decorative element is necessary for attaching the lighting fixture to the ceiling surface, and allows you to hide all electrical wire connections.
  • The central part of the ceiling lighting fixture is designed to connect the ceiling bowl of the lighting fixture with the distribution bowl, therefore, in most cases it bears a purely decorative load.
  • The distribution bowl is the main part responsible for the correct distribution of all electrical power to the arms and their direct fixation to the chandelier body.
  • Horns most often differ in shape and allow you to determine the size, as well as the illumination parameters of the chandelier, which is due to a direct relationship with the number of light sources.
  • Shades are designed for full-fledged dispersion of the light flux, and also allow the most efficient removal of all thermal energy from light sources.

The appearance and decorative characteristics of a chandelier in most cases directly depend on the type, size and shape of the shades, which can be glass, fabric, metal, or made of any other materials that are not subject to combustion or melting.

General chandelier installation diagram

The standard procedure for assembling any ceiling chandelier is quite simple, and is carried out in strict accordance with the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.

As a rule, at the first stage, the upper part of the central frame is assembled, and the decorative bowl is mounted on a rod and fixed with a special nut.

It is important to remember that lampshades and lampshades, as well as any fragile and decorative elements of the ceiling lamp, are fixed in the last place, which minimizes the risk of their breakage.

Attaching the horns

At the stage of the disassembled case of the lighting device, to which it is supposed to attach horns with lamps and shades, it is necessary to carefully examine the inside.

Manufacturers, as a rule, sell their products with two wires wound up: for "phase" and "zero".

In this case, it assumes the simultaneous switching on or off of all lamps, therefore, if necessary, a third electrical wire is started. To this end, not only the lower decorative, but also the upper nut of the central rod is unscrewed, after which all plastic O-rings are removed from the end part and the wire.

Only after the third wire is inserted, the entire bundle is fixed with plastic O-rings from the ends, and the horns are fixed on the body of the lighting fixture. The arms of the lamp are not only installed on the chandelier body, but also securely screwed on from the inside with a nut.

Chandelier wire connection

Household wiring is performed on the "phase" and "zero" wires.

If there is a ground loop in the room, the electrical wiring is supplemented by a third wire, which is connected to the ground bus.

Commonly accepted color coding: yellow insulation - "ground", blue - "zero" and red or brown - "phase".

The simplest option is to have a “phase” and “zero” cable on the ceiling. The first wire is interrupted at the switch, and the second goes to the junction box. If the horns with cartridges are divided into several groups, then all the wires to "zero" are combined together, and the "phases" are divided in accordance with the number of switch keys.

When a chandelier with a remote control breaks down, many owners of the device think that this is an extremely complex device that cannot be repaired without the help of a specialist. In fact, anyone can master it.

You will find the fluorescent lamp connection diagram.

Under a one-button switch

The easiest way to do it yourself is to connect the ceiling chandelier to a one-button switch. In this case, a pair of electrical wires is suitable for the lighting device: "phase" and "zero". There are also neutral and phase wires inside each horn.

The connection is very simple: the "phases" are connected to each other, after which all neutral wires are connected. The groups obtained as a result of such manipulations are connected to the main supply wire located inside the lamp rod.

How to connect a chandelier to a one-button switch

As a rule, the standard equipment of a ceiling chandelier presupposes the presence of special connecting caps, by means of which it is very easy to perform a high-quality and reliable connection of electrical wires.

It is only necessary to strip the ends of the insulation and twist, after which the caps are screwed on with rotational movements. After laying the connected wires inside the chandelier body, the cover is put on and fixed with a decorative nut.

Some experts prefer to play it safe, and in order to obtain the most reliable and durable connection of electrical wires, they advise using the additional soldering method.

When connected to a two-rocker switch

At the stage preparatory to connecting, it is important to correctly divide the arms of the chandelier into a couple of groups. Full symmetry is easier to obtain with an even number of horns, which are divided into two identical groups, and the wires to "zero" are assigned to the third group.

On three-arm and five-arm designs, you will need to determine the number of light sources in each group, for example, in accordance with the ratio 1 + 2, 2 + 3 or 1 + 4.

Connection to a two-rocker switch

The electric phase wires are connected to the dedicated groups of horns, after which they are connected to the main supply wire. It is important to remember that using a two-button switch requires a three-wire wire at the entrance to the ceiling light. Wires are connected to one core to "zero", and the phase groups are connected to two separate cores.

At the final stage of connection, a regular testing of the chandelier's performance is necessarily carried out, and only after that it is possible to place electrical wires inside the case, and also to securely fix the cover with a decorative nut.

Conclusion

Almost any chandelier model has common structural elements, so it is quite possible to correctly connect the lighting fixture on your own.

However, one must take into account the fact that when choosing a ceiling lamp, it is very important to focus on the area of the room.

In the design and organization of lighting in various rooms, a suspended ceiling lamp is used - a chandelier. It is designed to create a high-quality shadowless luminous flux over the entire area of the room. The dimensions of the chandelier, the number of light sources, and the shape can be completely different. At the same time, its main task is to uniformly saturate the entire room with light. The light source used in the chandelier can be:

  • Incandescent lamp;
  • A fluorescent lamp (most often compact energy-saving light bulbs);
  • LED lamp and luminaire.

In any case, the chandelier also has decorative properties, they serve as a decoration for any residential or non-residential premises.

When purchasing or ordering, this decorative lamp is worth thinking about how to hang a chandelier.

How to install a chandelier

When installing any chandelier, you need to take into account that this lamp is rather bulky and heavy, so you should take care of the mechanical part of the issue, that is, how to hang the chandelier and what to attach it to. The situation can be different, often in the apartments there are already quite strong hooks. However, do not install the device relying on the strength of the old hook. Therefore, it is recommended to fix such multi-lamp luminaires with dowels or anchors. The number of dowels depends on the weight of the chandelier and its attachment. It is advisable to disassemble it before installation, and remove all easily breakable, fragile elements.

Preparatory work

Before installing the mount and installing the ceiling chandelier, you need to provide it with power. How to do it right? To do this, in the lighting system, which can be performed with and without protective grounding, find: phase, zero and protective grounding conductor. Often the ground wire is taken in green, if the wiring has already been done, then it may look like the one shown in the figure.

The grounding wire, which serves to protect people from electric shock, must be connected to the metal part of the chandelier if there is no grounding bolt installed by the manufacturer.

If the wiring is done independently, then the chandelier must be powered from the circuit breaker. Then, using an indicator screwdriver or a special probe, you need to determine the phase wire. This procedure is performed in order to connect the phase wire to the switch. If the wiring already exists, then you need to turn on the voltage, before that, separate the wires separately from one another so that there is no short circuit, and carefully find the phase wire in the place of the ceiling where the new chandelier will be located in the future.

Connecting the chandelier to the switch

The connection and installation of the chandelier can only be carried out when the supply voltage is disconnected. Electric current is dangerous to human health and life. The easiest way to connect a chandelier to a source of electrical energy is to install and run a one-lamp chandelier to a one-button switch. In this case, you just need to find a phase wire that connects to the light switch and connect the wires in the area where the lamp is installed. Then insulate the joints. It is also worth considering that you cannot connect copper and aluminum wires, as they will enter into a chemical reaction and oxidation will occur, which will affect the contact in this place. A bad contact connection will heat up and sooner or later burn.

How to connect a two-button switch to a chandelier

In order to connect a chandelier to a double switch, you need to understand and understand how it works. The double switch has one common input, which is connected to the phase wire, and two outgoing contacts going to the lamp or group of lamps. Each switch with 3 terminals or with two has a contact rated for a certain current, which is indicated both on the packaging of the switch and on the case itself.

How to connect a chandelier with 2 lamps

If you connect such a light source to a one-button switch, then the lamps are simply connected in parallel, but this, in turn, is not very convenient and not economical. In order to connect a chandelier to a two-button lighting switch, you need to connect one wire coming from one lamp to another wire from another, this will be the neutral wire, which is directly connected to the junction box. This method of connection can be detected if wires have already been removed from this light source. That is, you need to connect a chandelier with three wires. One of them will be common zero (marked in blue in the figure). You can check this with a multimeter or any ohmmeter. Connecting the chandelier to a double switch will provide efficient and importantly economical lighting.

Connecting a three-arm chandelier to a two-button switch

Connecting a chandelier to a ceiling lamp, which consists of three light sources and having a so-called three-arm design, to a single-button switch is the same as in the situation with two lamps. Only the fate of the load current is worth, therefore, depending on the power sources of luminous flux, you need to select a wire. By the way, the formula for calculating the current is simple, you just need to divide the power by the supply voltage. However, the wire should be taken a little with a margin, both in length and in cross-section, so that it does not get warm. If the lighting is wired in an ordinary apartment, then a copper wire of 1 mm2 is enough for a chandelier, this wire will withstand this load. It is recommended to connect a three-arm chandelier via a two-button switch. Thus, it will be possible to arrange the switching on of the bulbs - two keys light up from one key, and one from the other. If both keys are on, all three lamps are lit. Again, phase conductors from light energy sources are connected through a switch.

How to connect a chandelier with 5 lamps

Connecting a chandelier with five lamps can be considered similarly with connecting three and four lamp lamps, it all depends on the number of switch keys. If he is alone, then the connection of lighting sources occurs in parallel. If a two-key or three-key switch is involved, then it is worth dividing the lamps into groups. When a five-arm chandelier is connected to a two-button switch, the neutral conductor of all lamps remains common. Lighting control through the switch occurs by applying a phase to a certain group.

It is also worth noting that installation from the box to the luminaire is best done with solid conductors without twists, this rule must be followed not only if you connect a five-arm chandelier to a two-button switch, but also absolutely any lamp. The connection in the disconnecting box and the connection in the chandelier are best done through the so-called terminal blocks. The conductors are clamped in them by means of a bolted connection or a special mechanism with a latch.

How to connect a chandelier with a remote control

Chandeliers with remote control are quite fashionable and comfortable. This type of luminaire is often equipped with LED or neon light-emitting equipment. It is this kind of light that is considered very economical, but it is not designed for a voltage of 220 volts. For this, there is a device inside or separately called a driver and performs not only a step-down function, but also stabilization, short-circuit protection. An LED chandelier with a remote control at a distance is distinguished by the presence of a change in illumination (lamp power), a change in the lighting spectrum (cold or warm shade), a timer, and an audible indicator for searching for a remote control.

Connecting a chandelier with a remote control does not necessarily mean that you do not need to install a light switch. But connecting a chandelier with a two-button switch in this situation does not make sense. It's just that these multi-lamp luminaires have a special controller operating at the frequency of the signal sent from the remote control and regulating the device modes. On the market, you can also find separately sold controllers with remotes for every taste and with a variety of functions.

In any case, when connecting and installing any lamp at a height, you need to observe safety rules not only with electrical equipment, but also with ladders, stands, so that the installation of the ceiling chandelier goes without problems.

During the renovation, many of us decide to change not only the decoration of the room, but also the lamps, and in this regard, the question often arises: how to assemble a chandelier correctly?

During the renovation, many of us decide to change not only the decoration of the room, but also the lamps, and in this regard, the question often arises: how to assemble a chandelier correctly? In most cases, this is a simple process that does not require a call from specialists, but we still believe that detailed instructions for assembling a chandelier will never hurt.

So, let's try to cover the whole process in detail. Consider a classic chandelier assembly scheme using the example of an inexpensive Chinese-made two-arm lamp. And we note that using this instruction, you can easily assemble and hang a chandelier of a more complex design, however, if you have absolutely no experience in electrical work, and we are talking about expensive equipment, it is better to entrust it to specialists.

Let's start the question of how to assemble a chandelier with a list of the necessary tools:

  • wire stripper (construction),
  • multimeter or electric tester screwdriver,
  • several ordinary screwdrivers or a screwdriver with a set of bits,
  • wrench.

If you need to assemble and hang the chandelier on a concrete or reinforced concrete ceiling, you will also need a drill and a drill with a victorious tip (6mm diameter) to mount the mounting strip. Installation on suspended plasterboard ceilings can be carried out using self-tapping screws or a special butterfly dowel.

Chandelier assembly diagram

1. Unpack the new luminaire and place all parts on the table. Make sure you have everything you need to assemble and hang the chandelier.

Be sure to read the instructions! Remember, your particular luminaire may have its own characteristics that you need to be aware of. Separately, it is worth noting that the Russian-language instructions on how to assemble a chandelier in some way proves the quality of the product.

2. Remove the center case and all other parts from the transparent packaging, except for the shades. It is better to leave fragile glass shades in the package until the end of the assembly of the chandelier - this way they will be more intact.

3. Now we will fix the horns. First, unscrew the nut and remove the protective cover from the central body of the chandelier. Then insert the horn into the corresponding hole, install the spring washer and tighten the nut. Do the same with the second horn.

5. Using a wrench, tighten the fasteners until they stop, but make sure that the arms do not move during this time. During the entire assembly process of the chandelier, check that each part is correctly installed before tightening the fastening nut to the end.

6. Now we will deal with electrical wiring.
This is the most crucial step in the chandelier assembly instructions. Let's say our lamp has 4 shades fixed on two arms. If you want to connect it to a switch with one toggle switch / button, you can divide the wires into 2 groups: 4 blue, 4 brown.

And if your chandelier assembly scheme involves a double switch, the wires are divided into three groups:

  • 1 blue wire + 3 blue wires + 4 brown wires - when toggle switch 1 is turned on, one plafond will light up, when toggle switch 2 is turned on, three plafonds will light up, and when both toggle switches are turned on, all four plafonds will light up.
  • 2 blue wires + 2 blue wires + 4 brown wires - each toggle switch will light 2 plafonds, and if you turn on both toggle switches at the same time, all four plafonds will light up.

But remember, our chandelier assembly instructions cannot cover all cases - your lamp may have different colors of wires.

7. Strip the first group of wires from insulation (1-2 cm), twist them together, and then connect to one of the central wires using a connector. If there are no connectors in the kit, before assembling the chandelier, purchase them at any building store.

8. In the same way, connect the second group to the other center wire, and then do the same with the third (if you will be using a double switch). All electrical assemblies during the assembly of the chandelier are performed using the connector.

9. Let's go back to the protective cover, which we removed at the very beginning - reinstall it and secure it with a nut.

Install decorative elements (if any), in our version of the chandelier - crystal.

10. In the place where the chandelier is attached to the ceiling, install a decorative strip.

This completes the instruction on how to assemble a chandelier, and we will move on to another, no less interesting question - how to connect it?

Many owners of apartments and houses during the renovation decide to change not only the decoration and design, but also the lamps. Today on sale it is rare to find a chandelier consisting of one light bulb and a plafond. Manufacturers of lighting fixtures offer the most complex designs with intricate designs, very luxurious and beautiful, but the trouble is, it is sometimes difficult to assemble this miracle of design thought. Most often, the instructions for the box with the packed parts of the lamp are not attached, and therefore, the owner of the shining beauty needs to solve the problem himself and answer the question of how to assemble the chandelier. However, do not despair, because, despite the variety of different types of lamps, the principle of assembly and connection of chandeliers is practically the same. If you once master the chandelier assembly scheme, you can cope with any lighting fixture, regardless of the number of arms, design features and other characteristics. Today, as an example, we will tell you how to assemble a chandelier with 3 lamps and 5 lamps, and consider the design of other lamps.

General arrangement of lamps and chandeliers

Before proceeding with the installation of lighting devices, consider their device. The luminaire consists of the following parts:

  • Plafond. The element performs, first of all, a protective role (covers the incandescent lamp), and secondly, a decorative function. The plafond is made of plastic, glass, metal. To get to the insides of any lamp, the cover must be removed. Depending on the mounting method, the cover can be twisted, attached to the body using latches or bolts.

Important! The most common fastening is plastic rings that are screwed onto the thread of the cartridge.

  • Lamp. Various types of lamps can be used in lighting fixtures. Experts recommend using energy-saving fluorescent lamps in the kitchen and in the rooms, and better - LED lamps.
  • Cartridge. The element can have different designs. In conventional ceiling luminaires, the socket is screwed to the body with 2 screws. In some models, the bolts can be unscrewed immediately, but in most models you must first disassemble the cartridge and remove the core.
  • Reflector. In most models for houses and apartments, it is not used. But it is very often used in office ceiling luminaires and spotlights. A reflector with a white or mirrored surface is used to create directional light.
  • Power supply unit or starting-regulating device. If necessary, a power supply unit is installed in the case, which is necessary for the operation of LED and fluorescent lamps. However, popular energy-saving models for a conventional cartridge almost always come with a built-in circuit inside and are simply screwed in instead of incandescent bulbs.

How to assemble a lamp?

Lamps are:

  • Suspended.
  • Overhead.
  • Embedded.

Important! Spotlights have gained a lot of popularity in recent years. They appeared together with suspended ceilings and solved the issue of economical and competent lighting. Each recessed luminaire gives a little light, its main advantage is mobility. You can install lamps on the ceiling anywhere, however you like, in any quantity.

Luminaires come with a separately packed body and shade. Suspended and surface-mounted luminaires are installed quite simply:

  1. Attach the enclosure.
  2. Connect the device to the power supply.
  3. Install the shade.

With spotlights and chandeliers, the situation is much more complicated. Below we will take a closer look at the assembly of ceiling spotlights and tell you how to assemble sconces and chandeliers.

How to assemble a ceiling light?

Installation of a ceiling lamp is possible in:

  • Suspended ceiling.
  • Stretch.
  • Plasterboard.
  • Rack.

In addition, spotlights can have different designs, for example, have a movable outer part that allows you to direct the light in a certain direction.

The number of recessed spotlights is determined depending on the characteristics of the room:

  • Square. If the area of the room is small (bathroom or toilet), then one device is enough, if the room allows, then you can place the lamps along the perimeter of the ceiling.
  • Layout.
  • Color solution.

  • The ceiling recessed luminaire for the bathroom is different from other similar fixtures. It is more suitable for operation in high humidity conditions. The luminaire does not allow water and steam to pass through due to glass or plastic located above the main part of the device. For luminaires intended for bathrooms, for safety reasons, use lamps that do not exceed 12-24 watts. In the event of a short circuit or other malfunction, such lamps will not harm human health.
  • When calculating the number of lamps for a room, be guided by the rule: 1 square meter - 1 lamp. The distance between the devices should be about 30 cm, and the distance to the wall about 20 cm. Plan the installation locations of the devices in advance, before installing the false ceiling. It is necessary to lead wires to the fixing points of the luminaires, and in the case of a stretch ceiling - to install fastening rings. Install and connect spotlights to the slatted suspended ceiling at the end of the renovation.

Important! Install ceiling lights in the bathroom together with a transformer. To determine which transformer is needed, multiply the number of lamps by their wattage. The result will show the power of the required transformer.

Tools for the job

To install a spotlight, you need the following tools:

  • Electric cable with clamps.
  • Drill with a long drill.
  • Round drill bit for making holes.
  • Pliers.
  • Screwdriver.
  • Insulating tape.
  • Junction box.
  • Protective caps for electrical wires.
  • Wire strippers for stripping.
  • Protective equipment: goggles, gloves.

Step-by-step instruction:

  • Turn off the electricity in the room and make sure the room is de-energized.
  • Make pencil markings for the locations of the appliances.
  • Wear safety goggles and gloves.
  • Cut a round hole of the required size in the ceiling (the body of the device should fit into the hole) using a drill and a round nozzle. The hole should be slightly smaller than the decorative outer part of the appliance.

Important! Make holes in the plasterboard ceiling prior to filling and finishing.

  • Run the cable from the power supply to the junction box. To avoid further enlarging the holes, use a drill with a long drill bit.
  • Open the junction box and connect the cable as follows:
    1. Remove the top layer of insulation from the end of the cable.
    2. Connect the stripped wires to the box wires.
    3. Twist the wires as follows: black to black, white to white, ground to ground.
    4. Secure the wires with pliers.
    5. Place protective caps over the connected wires.
  • Pack the wires in the box and close it with the lid.
  • Install the base of the instrument case into the ceiling opening (the junction box must go behind the ceiling panels). Many instrument designs are secured with clips that snap into place automatically.
  • Install the bulb itself according to the manufacturer's instructions. The body of each lamp is equipped with a fixing element, with which it is easy to fix the final part.
  • Plug in the electricity and enjoy the light.

Important! Spotlights are installed in the stretch ceiling in the same way, only the holes are not drilled, but cut inside the heat-resistant ring using a knife.

How to assemble a chandelier with 5 lamps?

We will divide the entire installation process into stages so that it is easier for you to understand everything.

Preparatory stage

Prepare the following tools before starting work:

  • Wire stripper.
  • Electric tester screwdriver.
  • Screwdrivers or screwdriver with a set of bits.
  • Wrench.
  • Drill and drill bit with a victorious tip (diameter 6mm) for mounting the fastening strip on a concrete or reinforced concrete ceiling. On a plasterboard suspended ceiling, installation can be carried out using self-tapping screws or a butterfly dowel.

After you have prepared the necessary tools, proceed as follows:

  • Open the box with the lighting fixture. Do this carefully so as not to damage the parts. Factory products, as a rule, are supplied in blocks: housing, shades, horns with shades for light bulbs, terminal blocks. Wires must be connected to all nodes.

Important! Do not forget to check that the number of parts matches the description of the model of the appliance. Check the contents before starting installation.

  • Set aside fragile elements (lampshades, remote controls, bulbs, etc.).
  • Remove the rest of the parts from the packaging.

Mechanical part of the chandelier assembly

Assemble the upper part of the central body of the instrument. Proceed as follows:

  1. Take a decorative plate.
  2. Place the plate on the chandelier rod.
  3. Install the top nut.

Attach the horns to the body. Depending on the model and design of the device, the number of horns may be different. But the technology of their attachment remains unchanged. Proceed as follows to assemble a 5-lamp chandelier:

  1. Unscrew the decorative nut and remove the protective cover from the central body of the chandelier.
  2. Take one of the horns, remove the nut and counter-washer from it.
  3. Insert the horn into the corresponding hole, secure with the removed nut and washer.
  4. Install all horns in the same way.
  5. Check the symmetry of the horns in relation to each other. If necessary, correct their placement.
  6. Tighten the fixing nuts with a wrench.

Electrical part - we connect the wires in the chandelier

This is the most crucial stage when you need to assemble a chandelier with 5 lamps. There are two connection options:

  • To a single switch. In this case, all lamps will light up at the same time.
  • To double. With a five-arm lamp, you can plan to turn on two and three bulbs separately, but for this you need to get one more wire, since the manufacturer starts only two groups: phase and zero.

The grouping of wires depends on the type of connection. There will be 2 groups to a single switch, and 3 groups to a double switch. Separation of the cable is carried out by color. Each horn at the output has 2 wires with different colored insulation:

  • Blue wires are zero.
  • Brown - phase.

Important! First, you need to work with wires of the same color, for example, "phase", and then - group wires of a different color - "zero".

Let's consider separately the connection to a single-button switch and to a double one.

Connecting wires in a chandelier under a one-button switch

In this embodiment, the connection is very simple, since the phase and neutral wire are suitable for the chandelier and there are also two wires in each horn. Therefore, proceed as follows:

  1. Strip the first group of wires from insulation by 1-2 cm (phase).
  2. Connect them together.
  3. Strip and connect all neutral wires of the horns. You should have 2 groups of wires.
  4. Connect the groups of wires to the main supply wire using protective caps. It is not recommended to twist wires without protective caps (connector), since the contacts, remaining not insulated, quickly oxidize, as a result, a short circuit may occur.
  5. Connect the second set of wires to the other center wire in the same way.
  6. Tuck the wires neatly into the housing.
  7. Close the bottom cover and tighten the decorative nut.

Important! For reliability, the place where the wires are twisted can be soldered.

The chandelier is assembled. All other decorative elements, shades and light bulbs are not yet put in place, since you first need to fix the chandelier to the ceiling and connect it to the power supply.

Connection of wires in a chandelier under a two-button switch

First, you need to divide the arms of the chandelier into two groups:

  • If you have an even number of bulbs, then in this case it is very easy to separate them, for example, odd - 1 group, even - 2 group. Naturally, neutral wires will be included in group 3. With this connection, harmony and symmetry will be achieved.
  • If you have a five-arm chandelier, then symmetrically breaking the wires into two groups will not work. Here you will have to make the connection so that one button turns on 3 lights, and the other - 2. If you turn on both buttons at the same time, then all the lights come on. Although, the options may be different.

So let's get down to business:

  1. Distribute the wires: "zero" - into 1 group, phase - divide into two blocks, one will be connected to 1, 3 and 5 horn, and the second - to 2 and 4.
  2. Strip 1-2 cm of insulation from each group of wires.
  3. Connect all groups to the main power cable. The supply wire that goes into the chandelier body must be three-core. All zero (blue) wires are connected to one core, group 1 wires are connected to the second, and group 2 wires are connected to the third.
  4. Insulate the wire connections.
  5. Tuck all wires neatly into the housing, close the decorative bottom cover and tighten the nut.
  6. Install the plafonds and decorative elements after connecting the chandelier.

Important! To start the third wire for the two-button switch, completely disassemble the chandelier body. To do this, unscrew the upper one together with the lower decorative nut. Find the center rod, into which the two-wire wire is wound from the factory, pull out the sealing plastic rings from the ends and the wire. Start a three-core wire (or just an additional wire of the same cross-section). Secure the wires with the plastic O-rings at the ends.
