Cassette ceilings. Installation of a cassette ceiling according to the instructions of specialists Installation of cassette ceilings

The modern cassette ceiling differs from other ways to design the ceiling space. Strict design, practicality and high design techniques. In fact, the idea of \u200b\u200bthe ceiling cassette makes the suspended ceiling circuit universal and at the same time very simple in assembly and maintenance.

Home Cassette Facing

Types of suspended ceilings cassette type

Constructively, such a system is only a metal frame collected from individual units or sections and fixed on metal adjustable suspensions. Properly assembled components form a grid with a size of 60x60 cm for ordinary rooms, or 120x60 cm for non-residential production and office space.

Office option

Decorative cassette panels are mounted in the frame cells, according to the method of installing ceiling cassettes, the ceilings are separated into two types:

  • Top type of panel mounting, or open circuit. In this case, the decorative panel is placed on the side of the patient space and is fixed by the clamping petals;
  • Lower installation type, or a closed version, the panel snaps on the frame from the bottom up.

Diffuse in the appearance of the ceilings with different ways of installation is quite difficult, at least, for a non-specialist, they look equally.

Cassette ceiling device diagram

Because of the different ways of fastening, the designs of carrier slats or t- profiles are different. In the first case, the cassette is fastened on the edges of profiled rails due to a bent side, in the second case, the mounting of the panel on the cassette ceiling is performed by snapping the edges of the cassette in the dump of the bottom shelves of the profile.

Important! At first glance, the difference in the method of fastening the panels is not so important, but it is not quite so. In the first case, parts and traverses of the cassette ceiling are always visible, whereas in the second embodiment the possibility of registration of the ceiling lining in the form of a single plane appears.

Open scheme

In addition, the cassette ceilings are usually distinguished by the material and design of decorative panels.

Materials ceiling decoration

The design of the frame and panels always strive to alleviate, make a reliable and most durable, so almost always a cassette suspended ceiling - metal. It is made from galvanized steel, the main carrying parts are made of it, and most often the cassettes themselves are also made of metal.

The cassette aluminum ceiling is particularly popular. In addition to the profile, the panels themselves are made from anodized or polished aluminum, so after installation, the ceiling plane acquires the type of this mirror.

If the ceiling lining is made for technological and industrial premises, then most often the cassette ceiling is projected perforated. It can be a mesh cassette or punched metal plate, sometimes used squares from pressed mineral fiber. The perforated cassette ceiling very well absorbs the noise, collects dust, simple and reliable design allows you to establish a full ventilation of the room, and all elements of communications can be hidden in the undercattle space.

The panel for a cassette ceiling can be made of plastic, extruded mineral fibers, sintered silicate and ceramic granules. Specific material for facing the cassette ceiling is selected by operating conditions. For hospitals, it is most often metallic and ceramic panels, for office and storage facilities, plastic, glass and metal are used.

Review manufacturers of cassette ceilings

As in any other sector of the production of finishing materials, in the market of suspended ceiling structures there are its modes, recognized by the Grand and leading industry brands.

This can be found:

  • The legend of suspended ceilings - the Armstrong system;
  • Cassette ceiling designs of CESAL;
  • German company GeiPel;
  • Ceilings from the company SKY.

All listed manufacturers have their secrets and nuances of the technology of the production of cassette ceilings. Most often, this concerns the direct appearance of the panels, since they are primarily affecting the perception of the design of the ceiling cladding. Details of the frame, T-profile, crossbars and corners for walls Even in branded suspended cassette ceilings are often produced according to a single scheme by subcontractors, more often by Chinese or Indian firms.

Important! In the market, it is often possible to meet a lot of domestic and foreign companies offering their designs of cassette ceilings, assembled on the basis of panels from brand producers. Such cladding will cost much cheaper and easier to install, but not always a low price corresponds to the declared quality and durability of the structure.

For example, at the same company SKY standard, an aluminum panel is considered to be 0.43 mm thick or steel in 0.5 mm. At the same time, decorative cassette panels can be found in the salons and the market, very beautiful, coated with powder painting anodized aluminum, but twice the thinner of the standard. It is clear that most of these cassettes are just a counterfeit, and the cassette ceiling itself after the assembly will not be slightly complying with the high standards of the company.

Cassette ceiling asal

Products of the company can be safely attributed to the most high-tech options for suspended ceilings with cassette facing. This, first of all, concerns decorative cassette coatings. Most often panels are made of anodized aluminum or alloys based on it with powder colorful coatings or galvanic nickel protection.

Bathroom option

Very resistant to moisture and dust cassette ceilings Asal are used mainly in public institutions, in sports halls and office premises. At the same time, the company uses all existing layout options and cassette panels.

The company is one of the few manufacturers of cassette ceilings, who offers customers with a relatively new panel size of 300x300 mm and 300x600 mm. Such designs are much more convenient in service, often users independently repair and replace facing without attracting specialists.

Cassette ceilings fromvaen.

Most of the components of the French brand are produced in the EU countries, therefore Caseen cassette ceilings are distinguished by two important advantages:

  • High accuracy of all elements and parts of the ceiling frame;
  • The richest selection of colors and relief drawings of cassette panels.

Important! Most of the Saveen suspended ceilings are available on an open system, or, in more simply, the cassette is installed on the frame from the bottom up, snaps on the carrier traverses.

At the same time, the strength and reliability of the suspended system is not inferior to more traditional and frequently used models with a closed mounting scheme when the panel is laid on the edges of the traverse from top to bottom.

Exquisite french design

Saveen's cassette facing in its design resembles the ceiling and wall tile, so the suspension ceiling perfectly fits into the interior of the bathrooms, kitchens, any premises of the technological and office plan.

Cassette ceiling Armstrong

This trading mark is one of the oldest and most famous of all existing ones. Pendant Armstrongs with ceramic and fiber plates have long displaced from office space and shopping centers plastic ceiling binder, lining and type panels.

Office Style

The suspensions and carrier beams of the Armstrong panels are performed according to the closed scheme, so the frame is much easier and cheaper in the installation than the currently popular closed design. The material used in the manufacture of panels:

  • Has excellent sound insulation and noise absorbing qualities;
  • Does not burn, does not release toxic substances even with severe heating;
  • The main thing is the price of a cassette ceiling by 40-60% lower than on similar French and German ceiling materials.

The simplicity of the design made the Armstrong ceiling one of the most popular on the market.

Installation of a cassette ceiling

The suspension ceiling system itself is highly manufacturable, in fact, the masters you need to simply collect components like the constructor. Moreover, most of the work can be performed without the use of specialized tools and devices.

Assembly works begin with marking the position of future ceiling overlap, determining points for fastening hooks, suspension and horizontal lines on the walls for mounting corner holders. The overall installation course of the cassette ceiling is given on the video:

Mounting frame for cassettes

First of all, it is necessary to fix the guide profiles or reference corners on the walls. In fact, it is an ordinary corner of 30 mm wide, which must be installed on a vertical surface using conventional dowels. We score them every 40-50 cm. It is clear that before installing the frame of the cassette ceiling, it is necessary to perfectly align the markup line along the horizon, otherwise the entire suspension system will be quite curve and ugly.

After the markup is made, there are hooks for fastening the suspensions, the length of which can reach two meters, depending on the height and size of the cassette ceiling. After stuffing, the suspensions engage on the hooks and left suspended for further installation.

Assembly scheme

Suspended cassette ceilings are collected, as they say, "on the stream". This means that it is necessary to simultaneously collect all the traverses, increase them as needed in length, strengthen the transverse boards and parallel to post the collected on the suspension. It turns out that you collect a cassette ceiling without levels or elements, but immediately connect all the details, gradually build up the design to the size of the ceiling overlap. This approach is associated with the fact that it is required to correctly equalize the position of the crossing and adjust the length of the ceiling suspensions.

After assembling each row of squares, the horizontal position of the frame at the connection points is required. The ends of the planks are simply snapped into the finished locks on the T-profile, so it is not necessary to waste time on trimming or wrapping the self-knobs.

Installation cassettes for suspended ceiling

The installation of decorative panels, as a rule, does not require any additional activities, besides, how to bend and check the status of the side edges that the cassette will be recorded along the top or bottom end of the T-profile.

Installation of the "open" cassette

On the cassette ceilings of a closed type, the installation is running upwards, you have to hold the frame with one hand to press the panel and deposit edges into the lock. On the framework of an open type, the installation is made easier, since the traverses easily carry pressure from top to bottom, you only need to correctly put the cassette on the cell and slightly press the hand, but without shock or excessive effort.

Installation of lighting in a cassette ceiling

For rare exceptions, almost all suspended ceilings with decorative cassettes are equipped with built-in luminaires. As a rule, these are luminescent or LED models of a box-type, with the size of the housing 60x60 cm, for workshops and storage rooms, use boxes 120x30 cm or 120x60 cm.

The wiring for connecting the lamps has to be laid either on the ceiling, or secure with plastic clamps on the bottom needle of the wire suspension. Luminaires can be mounted both in the open and closed scheme, if the cassette ceilings are collected from 30x30 cm panels, then the lanterns are fixed from the front side. At the same time, a loop or an additional segment of the cable should be performed on the wiring, allowing you to remove the lamp from the frame and lower it into the room without breaking the chips connector.

Ceiling cassette fan coil

The relatively new type of device used for suspended ceilings is a box or a housing, within which one or two heat exchanger is installed. Constructively, cassette fan coil is no different from the ceiling or wall variant. The energy of spent warm air emitted beyond the limits of the room is accumulated inside the heat exchanger and with the help of air ventilation is sent by the air flow inside the room. The main difference is that fan coil for the cassette ceiling is mounted on wire suspensions immediately at the end of the assembly of the sections and traverse nearest to the site.

Installation of Fancois

The body of the device is suspended on four ceiling holders, while the length of the mount is adjustable so that the front panel of the fan coil is located at one level with the cassettes of the ceiling. As a rule, a protective grille is installed on the panel, indicators of work, and in some cases remote control sensors of the air heating system.

Cassette ceilings design: Photo

The appearance and design of the ceiling finishes are usually selected taking into account the color of the walls and floor covering of the room. The mesh or cellular structure of the cassette ceiling is ideal for contrasting solutions made of several colors, as a rule, it is white, red, brown and yellow.

For public institutions, entertainment facilities, cassette ceilings are most often made in monophonic, with a smooth surface and edging from the built-in lamps. In this case, the main emphasis is placed on the decorative form, practicality and convenience of maintaining cassettes and panels.

Conclusion

Cassette ceiling, despite the complexity and high-cost design, and the cost of one panel on average is $ 2-3 per unit, massively used in private homes and in new apartments where the height of the ceilings reaches three or more than a meter. Cassette design perfectly masks communications, shuffling noise, collects dust, so the popularity of the concept remains high enough.

Installation of cassettes and frames must be produced in gloves. Also from the concomitant material will be needed

1. Roulette.

2. Self-tapping screws on 19mm or dowels 6 * 40 (if the wall is made of concrete, bricks) for attaching a used corner.

3. Bits for self-tapping screws.

4. Concrete drill to make holes for a dowel of nails and anchor - wedges.

5. Construction knife for cutting cassette.

6. A set of crowns on a tree for cutting round holes for lamps.

7. Fan or ventilation grille (+ timer for fan)

8. A set of painting cord, powder and a plumb for a flat line to secure a wiping angle.

9. Anchor - wedge ceiling for fixing mini-suspensions or erenels.

10. Embedded lamps and lamps for them.

11. Bags for construction trash

Storage and transportation of cassettes must be performed only in factory packages, because The cassettes are quite fragile and they are easy to remember, then with them it is necessary to contact them.

Installation instructions for cassette suspended ceilings

1. All work is made in gloves.

2. Placing Markup: Made by Level (Water, Alcohol or Laser)

3. L-profile: Depending on the wall material, it is mounted on a screw of 3-4 cm long (wall material: plastic, wood) or on a dowel-nail 6 * 40 (concrete, brick). Correct an angle after 40-50 cm.

Photo: Visual installation scheme.

4. Minibers: Muffy to the longitudinal guides with 1m increments and are attached to the self-tapping screw or dowel nails (depends on the material of the walls). The length of the self-press or dowel-nail should be from 4cm.

5. As far as possible, it is possible to lower the ceiling: at least 4cm (the guides are attached directly to the ceiling, without minibes). With minibes: the first hole is 7cm, the second hole is 9cm. If the ceiling needs to be lowered below, then erections are used.

6. Longitudinal guides: installed in 30 cm increments from each other (or 60 cm - depends on the size of the cassette). Longitudinal guides are attached to minibes, you can also fix them immediately to the ceiling, having previously broken the guide and screwing it to the rear back.

7. Installation of cassettes: holding the longitudinal guides insert the cassettes with one hand (the film should be removed from the cassettes).

The cassettes are better installed around the perimeter, and the last cassette is inserted in the second row from the edge or in the middle, but not in the corner of the room! (There may be a gap between the cassettes) the cassette can be cut by a stationery knife, a crown on a tree, or a saw for metal.

Dismantling cassettes

Dismantling cassettes can be made using silicone suckers. They are installed in the corners and holding a nipple on suction cups, neatly and evenly the cassettes are pulled down.

The desire to individualize the interiors of the premises multiplied by the improvement of the technologies for the production of facade materials led to the emergence of many completely new ways to decorate the ceiling space. Cassette suspended ceilings invented in France are considered a typical representative of new trends in the selection of ceilings.

Types of cassette ceilkov

Suspended ceilings cassette type are classified according to the method of fastening and material manufacturing material (cassettes).

Installation of a simple closed cassette ceiling

A constructive cassette system is a set of metal profiles in the form of a grid, which are set by the cassette - square modules that make up the base of the ceiling. According to the module attachment method, the closed / open structures of suspended cassette ceilings are distinguished.

Open cassette ceilings

The open type of the suspension system has a profile to install modules in the form of an inverted letter T, cassettes lie directly to the bottom of the profile. Since no mounting cassette is provided, the installation of open-type ceilings is quite simple and takes at a minimum of time, but the lower part of the profile is visible. Another advantage of a cassette suspension system is the possibility of arrangement in the adapter space of engineering communications, access to which will be significantly simplified.

Cassette suspended ceilings of a closed type

Using this option allows you to completely hide metal profiles from the eye. Installation of cassette ceilings is carried out by applying the special design of suspended profiles (stringers) with the presence of grooves to which separate modules are attached. Possessing more aesthetic appearance, closed cassette ceilings make it difficult to access equipment and communications mounted in the prescription space.

Types of cassette ceilings by manufacturing material:

  • Metal modules are made of aluminum / galvanized steel. At the moment - the most common material, characterized by a variety of colors and textures (matte, glossy, perforated, with spraying);
  • Gypsum ceilings, the main advantage of which is low cost. Such a cassette system can be used in rooms characterized by low humidity. In addition to purely decorative function, gypsum cassettes can act as a sound and thermal insulation layer;
  • Glass cassettes are in reality are made of silicate glass or acrylic, represent stained panels, drawing to be applied by sandblasting;
  • The cassette mirror ceiling is a variety of glass, characterized by the presence of a mirror surface with varying degrees of mattness, a very popular and unusual designer solution;
  • Ceilings from minvolock or fiberglass are used if it is required to ensure reliable noise and thermal insulation of the ceiling part of the room;
  • A cluster wooden module manufactured from rare or exotic wood breeds is the pleasure of quite expensive, but allowing you to get an eco-friendly, beautiful and exclusive solution.

Advantages and disadvantages of cassette type ceilings

Any modern ceiling system cannot be considered as an ideal. Cassette suspended ceilings are also characterized by a number of advantages and disadvantages that should be known if you decide to use this decision to design the ceiling.

The finished frame of a metal cassette ceiling, in this case, as can be seen in the photo, the height of the ceiling actually decreases by 30 cm.
Benefits disadvantages
No need for finishing ceilings alignment, profiles can be mounted on any surface. Reducing the height of the ceiling by 15-20 cm
Over the cassettes you can hide various engineering communications (electrical, telephone, Internet cables, ventkanals, pipes), install heating / lighting equipment The visibility of the lower part of the suspended profiles in open cassette systems - an option acceptable not for all
closed-type cassette ceiling does not require dismantling its designs to access communications The inability to form solid surfaces even when using closed systems
High maintainability due to a simple replacement of damaged modules or fasteners elements Since the front side of the suspended brackets have a decorated surface, their cost is higher than that of the fastening elements of plasterboard structures.
Aluminum and glass ceiling is distinguished by moisture resistance and ability to resist the appearance of fungi and mold, which allows you to install them in the bathrooms, bathrooms, pools
Great opportunities in terms of decorative ceiling space
High fire safety
Installing a cassette ceiling is made using a common tool

Preparatory work

If the height of the ceilings allows the use of a cassette suspended ceiling and some linearity of the decor fully suits you, you can proceed to the first step, which assumes the calculation of the required amount of materials.

To do this, make a drawing of the room with accurate proportions of its size, then the frame of the frame is applied to the drawing. Since the likelihood that the length / width of the room will be proportional to the size of the standard module (600x600 mm) are small, you will have to use crop cassettes. If a metal cassette ceiling is used, you can do it with scissors for metal. It is better to post them from the other side that is less common in the visibility zone (from the side of the entrance doors).

Scheme of a standard cassette ceiling with a metal profile

The calculation of the size of an incomplete module is made as follows: we divide the width or length of the room by 600, the whole part of the resulting number multiply by 600, and the resulting result is deducted from the original size of the room. Example: Let the length of the room be 3500 mm:

  1. 3500/600=5.83;
  2. 5*600=3000;
  3. 3500-3000=500.

Consequently, we need five whole rows of plates and one circumcised. Cropped modules are better placed on both sides of the room, in this case the resulting final value must be divided by half (for our example it will be two rows of 250 mm).

The drawing simplifies counting the required number of cassettes, suspended profiles for a cassette ceiling, other mounting elements.

Selection of tools and consumables

One of the advantages of self-installing cassette ceilings is the lack of need to use a Uzkospecialized tool.

For mounting on a suspension profile, a set will be required, which is usually available in many home "self-keys":

  • Screwdriver;
  • Perforator;
  • Roulette;
  • Scissors for metal;
  • Pliers;
  • Laser level (can be used and water, and the usual construction);
  • Roulette;
  • Construction knife;
  • Marking cord;
  • Pencil.

In addition to the actual cassette, the installation of the suspension system will require the acquisition of the following fasteners:

  • L-shaped wall corner;
  • bearing suspended profiles (stringers in case of closed systems) with suspensions;
  • intermediate suspended brackets;
  • self-tapping screw;
  • anchors with dowels.

Installation of the suspended cassette ceiling of an open type

Since the most common type of cassette ceilings are open-type designs, we will begin consideration of self-installing precisely from them.

Installation of wall profiles

Installation of the cassette ceiling begins with the installation of wall-mounted L-shaped brackets, for which the zero level is determined, disposable from the ceiling surface by 15-20 mm. The specific size of the used bracket is absorbed on the basis of the need to accommodate in the adapter space of engineering communications. Note in one corner the label, it is transferred to other angles using a laser / hydraulic level. All marked points are connected by the line.

Wall-mounted frame is attached with the help of self-tapping and dowels to the wall.

When the markup is ready, you can start the installation of a used corner, which is attached to the wall with dowels and self-drawing in order of about 400-500 mm. Standard Dimensions Corner:

  • Height - 24 mm;
  • Length of the plank - 300 mm;
  • Width shelves - 18 mm.

Installation of ceiling suspensions

According to a pre-compiled drawing on a wall profile, points in places where such elements of the suspension system are installed as carrier profiles. There is a marking cord between opposite points, and at the necessary distance strictly over the cord, the points are marked in which suspended structures will be installed.

The ceiling profile is screwed with aluminum planks, dowels and screws

The perforator in the marked places is drilled by holes in which the suspension brackets are attached using anchors. If the cassette ceiling is assumed together with the lighting equipment, an additional suspension should be installed in this place.

The distance between the suspended brackets should be a multiple of 600-1200 mm.

The edges of the main T-shaped structures are attached to the wall guides, and the middle to the suspensions. Alignment along the horizontal plane is carried out through special clips, it is necessary to do this with the use of laser / hydraulic levels. If the length of the bracket (3.5-3.7 m) is insufficient, it is cut to sizes, multiple the length of the cassette, adding another segment and fasten them with fixing locks.

The main profile is screwed to the walls with short self-tapping screws.

Installation of intermediate profiles

Installing intermediate profiles is made in the direction from the center of the room to its edges. Constructively, such guides have at the ends of the clamps, allowing them to easily attach them to the main profile. Between themselves they are joined in the same way. Additional profiles have a length of 600-1200 mm, the extreme brackets will need to trim in accordance with the size of the room. It is very important to comply with the correct geometry when installing suspended intermediate profiles - all angles must be direct, which is checked with the help of engineering transport or construction kit.

Installation of cassettes

This is the easiest and most pleasant part of the work. Since the bottom of the suspended brackets has a wide protrusion (shelf) to insert a module, it is necessary to turn it slightly diagonally and under the bottom edge of the bracket, turn the cassette correctly and simply put it on the profile shelf. Stacking cassette panels is also better to carry out from the center of the room, the cropped modules are mounted last. If the profiles are laid in compliance with the necessary tolerances, the edges of the plates will not be visible. When laying a cassette, having a completely symmetrical drawing, you should monitor them in a specific direction.

Luminaires are usually mounted immediately before laying cassettes. After the installation of the cassette ceiling, the plates can be wiped with a wet cloth or a sponge (for plaster, wooden modules and a cassette from a minvolokna, it is necessary to restrict ourselves to cleaning through a mild pan).

Installation of a closed cassette ceiling

With independent installation of closed-type cassette suspended ceilings, the procedure is somewhat different, starting from the main profile installation phase. They have fasteners on the bottom shelf, where the edges of the modules are becoming. Since the size of the cassettes may differ from the standard (you can often find the cassettes of 300x300 mm), the distance between parallel profiles must correspond to the width of the plate, the distance between the suspensions will be 1200 mm (for the pendants to the wall of the suspensions - 600 mm).

The cassettes themselves for closed-type systems have cutout angles, thanks to which they easily snap into the grooves of the guides and can move parallel to the profile. Terminal cassettes, which are attached to a wall profile, will have not only cut down the length, but also cut the corners. That is why for such suspended ceilings, cassettes from easily processed materials should be selected (wooden, aluminum, plastic). An excellent aesthetic appearance of closed mirror structures fully justifies those small difficulties that distinguish their installation from the installation of open-type systems.

Cassette

The ready-made cassette-type suspended ceiling does not need special maintenance. But after the installation of installation works, it may be necessary to remove marks made by a pencil using a conventional elasty. The periodic watches of the suspended ceiling from the dust removal cassette is made using a soft brush, when the contaminants are detected from them, you can get rid of a wet cloth panels (without using abrasive cleaning agents).

In this article, let's talk about installing cassette ceilings with your own hands. The process itself is divided into two stages: installation of the frame and the installation of cassettes. Well, about everything in order ...

Suspended cassette ceiling mounted with your own hands

One of the options for finishing the ceiling of your home or office suspended ceiling from the cassettes, in fact these are 50 * 50 cm plates suspended on the suspensions of the carrying crate. The advantages of such a suspended ceiling are that you at any time you have practically unlimited access to the "insides" of the ceiling, that is, with such a ceiling, it is very convenient to mount any communications - electrical wires, ventilation.

The minuses of the suspended cassette ceiling are in a significant required space for its installation, that is, it is necessary to show sufficient ceiling heights, in order for after mounting the ceiling, the room has not been flawed - there has been a sufficient height of the ceiling.

Tools and materials are necessary for mounting the suspended ceiling with their own hands

A level of at least 61 or 122 cm long, measuring instrument (roulette, meter), metal scissors or "Bulgarian", Passatage, hammer, chalk, pencil, shoe knife, protective glasses, twin models or thin wire. Purchase the required amount of material, the calculation is carried out according to the rules of the next chapter. It is necessary to use the suspension systems of one company, since the components of different manufacturers may not be shrinkable.

Photo 1 Materials suspended ceiling

2.3 - intermediate guides 6.6 and 1.2 m long;
4 - aged plinth corner with a length of 3 m;

6 - plates, lamps, ventilation in Figure 1 are not shown.

Preparatory work before mounting a suspended cassette ceiling

When assembling suspended ceilings, a certain temperature mode must be observed. Before installing, the plates for 24 hours should be sealing in the room in which they will be installed. The room in which the mounting of the suspended ceilings will be carried out, should be dry, glazed, and if necessary, then heated. Installation of the ceiling is carried out at temperatures close to operational, i.e. to room temperature (+ 20-25 s).

If necessary, you need to transfer the installation time of the plates to a later period when the building becomes dry and heated. In extreme cases, the assembly can be carried out in two stages: first mount the carrier design, and then install the plates. It is the plates that can adsorb moisture to condense it on themselves to change the color and shape, which will affect the quality of your ceiling.

Now about the aesthetic and materials. Here it will have to be taken into account that the ceiling has its own unique form, as a rule, with the dimensions of non-multiple whole plates in width and length, from which it follows that the suspended lattice should be symmetrical about the walls, and not start from one of them. Mount the ceiling is necessary so that the plates were the same on the opposite sides of the room.

Design the ceiling is recommended in such a way that the size of the panels adjacent to the walls was at least ½ size of the entire panel. To calculate the size of the extreme panels, you can use the following formula: The length of the wall is divided into the foot of the plate aimed. Then, the length of the plate is added to the separation residue and is divided into 2. Thus, the size of the extreme plates is obtained.

Example: width room 2745mm. Length plate 600mm.
2745: 600 \u003d 4 with the residue 575.
We add the length of the plate: 575 + 600 \u003d 1175 and divide to 2.
1175: 2 = 587,5.

Suspended Ceiling Mounting Technology

Installing a corner around the perimeter of the room

At the desired level from the ceiling, around the perimeter of the room, a willed corner is installed (Rake 3 m), taking into account the necessary space for the lighting, ventilation and other equipment. Mounting the corner is recommended with a step of 400mm. Set the corner by level. See Figure 6 Pos. five.

Installing suspensions.

The amount required for mounting the suspensions can be calculated by the formula s room / s plate x 0.5. On average, ~ 2 - 4 suspension on the rail.

Fastening the suspensions, according to the plan, is made at the intersection points with intermediate guides. The mounting of the suspensions is made using metal anchors with a hat diameter of at least 13 mm. In places of installation of equipment (fans, raster lamps, air conditioning systems, etc.) additional suspensions are installed. See Figure 6 Pos. four

The suspension of the main guides.

Cut the end of the main guide (Rake 1, Figure 5) So that the intermediate guide (Rayka 2.3, Figure 6) entered the groove of the main guide at a distance equal to the length of the corresponding extreme plate. The main guide of the cropped edge should be based on a wall-fired plinth corner. In place of connecting the main guides, install an additional suspension. Sweat the main guides. Watch that the basic and intermediate guides are stripped at right angles.

Photo 3 Compound of basic and intermediate guides.

Adjusting the height of the ceiling decks occurs using a quick clip (Figure 4).

Photo 4 suspensions used when mounting a suspended ceiling

Installation of intermediate guides.

Between the main carrier guides, insert all intermediate, with an interval equal plate width. Intermediate guides, connecting with a plinth, do trust in size, so that one end is inserted into the groove of the main guide, and the second one fell onto the foam plinth.

Installation of ceiling plates and lamps.

Installation of ceiling plates should be started with lamps, air intakes of the ventilation system and entire plates, i.e. from the middle of the room.

Photo 5 Installation of the ceiling ventilation lattice

Then cut and installed in the size of the plates adjacent to the walls. Each slab should be measured! If there are no other recommendations, the edges of the plates adjacent to the bundled plinth must be cut in shape using manual tools. Where the cropped edges of the plates are visible, they should be handled by manually, but, as a rule, it is not necessary to do this along the perimeter. If the ceiling does not require fire protection of the building or fire resistance, then there is no need to use fixing clips.

Photo 6 Structure of the suspension cassette ceiling

Operation and maintenance of suspended ceilings mounted using mineral fiber plates.

Suspended ceilings require no more service effort than painted ceilings. However, if the service requirement still arises, then for the further operation of ceilings and preserving an attractive appearance, it is necessary to follow certain recommendations:
- With a soft brush, remove the dust accumulated on the surface.
- With the help of a conventional rubber, you can remove pencil marks, dirty stains and so on.
- It can also be done using a damp cloth or a sponge, moistened with aqueous solution of soft soap or diluted detergent.
- The ceiling should not soak, so the sponge must be well pressed.
- After the cleaning is completed, remove the soap film with a cloth or a sponge, washed with clean water and as pressed.
- It is impossible to use abrasive cleaning substances.

Safety when mounting the suspended ceiling.

Use gloves and goggles. Ceiling plates are made of material, which includes mineral and fiberglass, which can lead to skin irritation. Irritated skin of the skin is impossible. After working with ceiling plates, rinse your hands with warm water with soap. Clothes to wash separately, carefully riding.
