Laminate for the loggia, what to choose. We put the laminate on the loggia - Montage do it yourself

Specialization: Capital construction work (bookmark the foundation, construction of walls, roof design, etc.). Domestic construction work (laying internal communications, roughing and finishing). Hobbies: Mobile communications, high technology, computer equipment, programming.

Recently, increasingly popular, at least, according to my observations, is becoming a laminate balcony finish. Moreover, with its help, not only the arrangement of the floor is carried out, but also the decoration of the walls (and sometimes the ceiling).

Just recently, I was asked to see the loggia and balcony in the client's apartment. And I decided to simply tell about this technology to all my readers. After all, the laminator balcony is one of the simplest ways to finish, which is easy to implement with their own hands.

Pros and Cons Using Laminate for Balcony Finishing

Laminate is a modern decorative material that was originally used to decorate floors in residential premises and replaces parquet. The price of the product was lower than the natural parquet with a similar appearance, so the new floor covering quickly gained popularity in private construction.

To justify you the choice of precisely this material for finishing a balcony or loggia, list its main advantages and cons.

Benefits disadvantages
Ecology. In the manufacture of laminate, glue compositions with minimal or zero emissions of harmful substances are used. Therefore, the material does not harm human health and can be used to re-equip the balcony in the residential premises. Susceptibility to moisture. In case of insufficient waterproofing of the balcony, the material may determine into liquid and increase in size, which will lead to the warming of the decorative surface and the damage of the laminate itself.
Durability. If you choose the laminate of the desired class of wear resistance, and also comply with the technology of its laying and operation, the finishing material will last you until you decide to replace it with something else. Large thermal expansion coefficient. When heated, the material increases quite strongly in size. Therefore, if you have to put laminate on the balcony in the winter, I advise you to leave a significant gap between it and the walls that compensates for the expansion.
Cheapness. Standard laminate panels 31-33 classes are cheap enough and accessible to all categories of the population. Especially if you compare them with other decorative materials that are suitable for decoration of the balconies.
Manifold. In stores you can find such a large number of laminate models that differ from each other with texture and color that even the most arrogant buyer will pick up for itself the appropriate option.
Easy installation. The technology of installation of laminate and the floor, and the walls are as simple as possible and even the novice home master will easily cope with it.

As you can see, laminate for the balcony, although a controversial, but quite acceptable solution. However, you need to choose the correct material. Yes, and laying the laminate on the loggia or balcony should be carried out in strict accordance with the technology that I will offer to your attention below.

Features of the choice of material and its laying

Specifications and operational properties of the laminate make it an excellent choice for use in residential premises. But on the balcony, unlike rooms, a specific microclimate is formed, which needs to be slightly adjusted before choosing the option of finishing.

Now I will explain what I mean:

  1. It is possible to perform the flooring of the floor and other surfaces with laminate if the balcony or loggia is glazed. Otherwise, a large amount of moisture will quickly spoil your decorative finish, despite the strength of the selected material.

  1. Installing laminate can be exclusively in pre-warmed rooms. The air temperature in unheated balconies, which can be fermented with laminate, should not fall below the mark of + 5 degrees Celsius.

  1. Mounting the trim is only needed on a pre-aligned surface or a predetermined crate. Immediately decide what installation method you will use, since the list of necessary materials depends on this.

I advise the balcony to use 33 class laminate, which has increased abrasion resistance. To work in the described case, I chose a dark brown panel, on the surface of which the contamination is not so much visible.

I do not advise you to use laminate for finishing the balconies where you are going to arrange a greenhouse or a nursery for seedlings. In this case, the level of humidity will be too high and the material will deteriorate.

Installation of laminate on the balcony

Well, now I will tell you how to put the laminate on the floor and the walls of the balcony. And start, as usual, with training.

Preparatory stage

Before you start work, I performed the dismantling of the old flooring. There was a ceramic tile, which I knocked down by a perforator. After that, I cleared the surface from the protruding sites, the residues of the solution and other defects.

Then such a casus happened. The owner initially decided to make a water heated floor on the balcony.

And therefore bought metal plastic pipes and a cement mixture for a screed. But nobody said that, according to SNIP, water heating, which will be part of common engineering systems at home, can not be equipped on the balcony. And the warm floors can only be electric.

In the process of long debates, I generally dissuaded it to make floors with heating on the balcony, as based on my experience for comfortable heating of this room several (or even one) of the electrical convector.

Therefore, the draft floor for laying laminate I did this:

  1. On the purified concrete surface of the overlap of bed waterproofing membrane. One sheet was not enough, so seam was formed in the middle. I put the sheets of the mustache for a distance of 15 cm and additionally seal this section with sticky ribbon.

  1. Top on the film fastened the lags, which made from wooden bars with a cross section of 100 per 50 mm. Put them along the balcony to perform less cuts. Previously processed them with an antiseptic, which will extend the life of the wood.

  1. In between lags placed foam sheets. I specifically made the distance between the support elements so that the insulation was here without additional trimming. The formed seams blew the mounting foam to avoid the formation of cold bridges.

  1. Foaming on glue or dowels, I considered unnecessary, as it is installed on the floor and not going anywhere.
  2. From above, a vapor insulation membrane was used, which will protect the insulation layer and the supporting lags from moisturizing with water vapors resulting on the balcony in the process of human life.
  3. The membrane fastened plywood sheets, which will serve as a support for laying laminate. They need to be positioned so that between adjacent elements and walls there were gaps that compensate for the expansion of the material during use.

So I prepared the floor surface to lay the laminate. After that, it switched to the next stage of work.

Installation on the floor

Now I tell how to lay a laminate for the foundation of plywood sheets, which I have equipped on the balcony.

This is done as follows:

  1. First of all, I measured the distance between the adjacent walls on the balcony of the tape measure and noted the desired distance on the shears of the laminate. I always cut a few details in advance so that you are not distracted during the styling process. The length length should be such that the gap remains between the floor and the wall, which compensates for the change in its size as a result of heating or wetting.

It is very important to cut the laminate so that the cut line is going at a right angle. Otherwise, it will not be possible to smoothly lay the lamels along the walls. For this, I always use the coal.

  1. For smooth cutting parts, I use an electric jig. It is necessary to perform a cut with a small speed so that the zubinkins do not appear along the edge. Especially slowly need to keep the jigsaw at the end, so as not to lend the edge of the laminate plate.

  1. After cutting, I drove all the sawdust and garbage and messed up on the surface of plywood substrate. Since the base and so sufficiently durable, even, and, among other things, insulated, thick use is optional.

  1. In order for the substrate does not finish and not shifted during laminate laying, I attach it to a wooden base using brackets and a construction stapler. You can also use double-sided tape.

  1. Having finished with the substrate, I installed the first part of the floor covering. As you can see, in my case, the balcony width made it possible to install the laminate so that one lamella overlap the entire surface of the floor. And the seams themselves were located perpendicular to the long walls of the balcony.

However, this is not the only way of laying. In his practice I had to apply others:

  • longitudinal;
  • diagonally;
  • christmas tree or squares.

But immediately warn that in this case you need to be ready for a large number of trimming, and therefore the material will have to buy more. But to decide, of course, you.

  1. After laying the first element, you can move to the installation of the following elements. Here the technology depends on the method of processing the ends of the products. I had a lock that snaps up with a slight impact on the lamella.

  1. Small difficulties arose on the floor of the floor where the inlet door threshold was installed. There was a small deepening, which required the fulfillment of the cutting form. Therefore, I have previously measured the length and width of the excavation, after which it moved everything to the lamella and cut the desired area.

  1. The alone laminate laying on this floor has no special problems.

  1. The laminate laminate laminated after the preliminary clock. There, the cut will have to do along, but do not worry if it turns out a little crooked, subsequently this area will close the plinth, so the defect will not be visible.

Well, this is how the floor coverage looked after the end of the balcony.

As I have already said, you can separate the laminate not only the floor, but also the walls of a balcony or loggia. For more information about this technology, I will tell below.

Montage on the wall

Compliant with the client, I was going to wash the laminate and the walls of the balcony. However, during the work, the host refused such a method of finishing in favor of plastic panels, so I can not show the photos from that repair.

But it does not matter. I have such an experience enough, so I will state the technology here, illustrating it with the pictures from other objects:

  1. So, for beginnings, it is necessary to clean the wall from dust and debris, after which it is shown the surface of the waterproofing membrane.
  2. After that, mount the crate. To avoid additional wood processing, you can use a galvanized profile to which plasterboard sheets are mounted.

  1. Then the insulation is installed inside the crate. I used mineral wool. So that it keeps on the walls I use P-shaped fasteners for the profile, which hold the material on site during installation and operation.

  1. Shipped insulation of a vaporizolation membrane. If this is not done, then the moisture out of the room will penetrate the insulation and moisturize it. And, as you probably know, the effectiveness of the operation of fibrous thermal insulation materials is much dropping.
  2. I installed a counterclaim. These are the elements of the crates that are put on top of the membrane and allow you to place the decorative material (in my case laminate) at some distance from the film. Such a clearance is needed so that the accumulated moisture is removed outward.
  3. Laminate is put on the counterclaim.

The edges can be separated by fittings, which is usually used during the installation of plastic panels.

There is another way to which I have repeatedly resorted. It is necessary to simply align the walls of the room with the help of plaster and putty, then glue the laminate to the surface with the help of "liquid nails".

Installation on the ceiling

The installation of the laminate on the ceiling is also possible, although I would not recommend resorting to such a finish method. Still, the material is heavy enough and in violation of the lamella installation technology can fall. And good, if not you on your head.

If you are a bolder, I can offer two ways:

  1. With the help of glue on a pre-plastered surface. I do not recommend for two reasons. Firstly, the Pizoucked ceiling itself looks good in itself, you can just paint it and enjoy the rest. Secondly, it will be difficult to equip the backlight (if you want to make it on the ceiling, and not on the walls).
  2. With the help of the crate. In this case, it is possible to firmly fix the laminate, and simultaneously insulate the surface, and the desired electrical cables are paved there.

Installing plinths

Completes the process of finishing installation of plinths, which give the room a finished look. For a laminate installed on the balcony, I advise you to use plastic plinths, which have excellent specifications (taking into account the specifics of use) and are well combined with the type of finish under consideration.

Mounting technology of plastic plinths with cable channel Next:

  1. I take the plinth, take out the decorative cap from the cable channel and apply the item to the wall.
  2. After that, with the help of a perforator, I spend the hole in the plinth and the wall that is located behind it.
  3. Then screw the dowels into the holes with screws, which will firmly hold all the details on the spot.
  4. For the arrangement of compounds and corners I use special challenges (accessories).
  5. After mounting the plinths insert the plug into the plastic channel.

Plastic plinth is also good because it has some flexibility. Therefore, if the walls of the room are slightly uneven, it will hide these defects, as it will take it tightly to the surface after screwing the screws.

Summary

As you can see to separate the balcony with a laminate, you do not need to have a diploma engineer diploma. It is enough to observe the proposed technology.

The landscaping of the balcony is one of the most important stages of work on the reconstruction and repair of apartments in the houses of a high-rise type. Indeed, with the "proper hand application" and the availability of the appropriate materials, this small and modest room can be turned into a full-fledged room for work and recreation. For this purpose, a wide variety of ways and methods of arrangement are used. For example, finishing a balcony with laminate. But with all the pluses of the material, you still need to know how to put the laminate.

Under the term "laminate" it is customary to understand the special type of floor covering, with the basis of the fibreboard of an increased density. Translated from Latin "Laminated" means "layered". That is, in its structure, this material resembles a "dough layer", the upper part of which is a protective wear-resistant film that performs the role of the finish decorative coating.

The undoubted advantages and advantages of laminate include:

  • Original and spectacular appearance, a wide variety of colors options.
  • High strength, stability of various types of chemical, mechanical and bacterial exposure.
  • Fire resistance.
  • Universality. Laminate can be used to finish any balcony surfaces, including floor, ceiling and walls.
  • Easy and convenience in mounting and care.
  • Available cost.

Laminate in the balcony finish: quality and laying requirements, installation features

The combination of excellent physicochetics and low prices make laminate by one of the most popular materials used in the interior decoration of balconies and loggias. However, together with numerous advantages, this coverage has a number of features that should be considered when it is laying. These include:

  • High-demand. The laminate is placed only on perfectly even, thoroughly dried surfaces, completely delivered from all sorts of garbage and dust.
  • Not very high level of heat and sound insulationWhat you need to consider before putting laminate on the balcony with your own hands.

In addition, choosing this material to finish these premises, it is necessary to keep in mind that the laminate coating can be used only on balconies and loggias undergoing thorough insulation. That is, before laying a laminate board on the balcony, glazing with two-chamber or three-chamber windows, as well as the insulation of its parapet, walls, floor and ceiling should be produced. As a result, the minimum temperature in this room should not be lowered below the mark of +5 degrees.

What laminate to choose for a balcony? To cover this room, you can use the panels of any class, however, it is preferable to choose a class of 31-33 classes, characterized by high stability to loads and abrasion.

When finishing the loggia laminate should not forget that he does not tolerate excessive moisture. So, if you later plan to organize a mini-greenhouse with home plants in this room or you will use a balcony for hanging and drying linen, it is better to replace it with other types of finishing materials.

Preparatory work and tool snap

Laying the laminate on the balcony begins with preparatory work, including dismantling of the old coating, cleaning the base from dust and dirt, alignment and insulation.

The largest "enemies" of this coating, significantly reduced the life of its operation, are all sorts of bumps, pits and irregularities, so they need to be eliminated. "Normal" and suitable for subsequent work is considered to be the foundation on which the depth of possible drops and irregularities does not exceed 2 mm per 1 m.

Tip: 48 hours Before the work of the mounting work, the purchased laminate panels must be transferred to the balcony where the laying will be made, are unpacked and inspected for marriage detection.

Before putting laminate on the balcony, it is necessary to get acquainted with the technology of installation of this material. In particular, the following rules should be followed:

  • Material laying should be carried out on the appropriately prepared carefully aligned basewhich spreads a special substrate that ensures the sufficient level of heat and noise insulation.
  • The boards of laminate should be laid parallel to the sunshine, in a checker order.
  • How to properly drain laminate? When laying a laminate be sure to leave technological gaps (1-1.5 cm) between the material and walls using expansion wedges during installation.
  • The minimum length of the laminated lamella must be at least 30 cm.

The following tools are used to lay laminate:

  • Line and pencil for marking.
  • Electric jigsaw, disk saw with small teeth or hacksaw on a tree with a small tooth.
  • Roulette.
  • Building level.
  • A hammer.

Alignment of floor under laminate and its laying

Alignment of the base before laying the laminate on the loggia is a guarantee of its subsequent exploitation, so this stage is necessary for all the rules, strictly observing the selected technology and the procedure.

The most common option for aligning concrete floor is using a tie.. You can make it in two ways:

- with the manufacture of concrete solution.

- Using self-leveling mixtures.

For additional insulation of concrete slabs lying at the base of the balcony, while the grazit of small and medium fractions can be used, as well as the extrusion polystyrene panels.

The process of installing laminate on a concrete base with a cement-sand tie is made as follows:

  1. A layer of waterproofing film with a thickness of at least 200 μR is spawned on the prepared surface. She puts the peasant with a science at 20-25 cm and fixed with scotch.
  2. On top of the waterproofing layer, the substrate under laminate is stacked.
  3. Playing panels are made. Installation always starts from a long corner of the room. The jokes are processed using sealant.

As a substrate, foamed polyethylene, polystyrene foam or cork.

The alignment of the base with wooden flooring is performed using the lag of the floor, which are stacked, so-called, falsefields from plywood or sheets of chipboard laid in a checker order, and laying laminate panels.

Important: When mounting, the phaneer is cut into a small slab and laid at a distance of 5-10 mm from each other. This is done to prevent the deformation of the base under laminate when the floor moves.

The obligatory stages of the preparation of the coating to the finishing finish include the installation of waterproofing and insulation layers. For this purpose, various materials, including foam, foam, and various types of penetrating and rolled waterproofing can be used.

Laying of flooring from laminate on the balcony can be made in several ways:

  • Parallel wall with window opening.
  • Across a balcony base.
  • Diagonally.
  • "Christmas tree."
  • "Squares", etc.

Laminate in the decoration of the balcony walls

The decoration of the walls of the balcony laminate is a very profitable and practical solution to the improvement of this room. This work can be made by several methods, depending on the type and method of installing the coating.

How to fix the laminate on the wall of the balcony? Adhesive laminate Fastened to a metal crate closed with plasterboard. The joints formed between the sheets of drywall must be glueing the adhesive ribbon and handle with putty. Then the resulting surface is ground, and the laminate panels are fixed with a special glue.

Laminate clone typehaving in its design reliable and durable castle elements, attached to the crate, which can be made of metal or wood. To the surface to be finished, the frame is attached using a dowel, and the connection of the crate elements is made using self-tapping screws. In this case, the width of the frame cells for mounting panels should be not more than 40 cm. The mounting of the panels to the frame can be made with the help of glue (liquid nails) or small carnations. It is very convenient to use a building stapler for this purpose. kleimers - Galvanized brackets created for fastening this material.

They can be two types:

- with served protrusions (driven into the cut end of the laminate board and are mounted on the crate or wall with the help of self-samples).

- with flat protrusions (pressing the protruding part of the clone panel lock and do not interfere with its connection with other boards).

So that the balcony is laminate book type Also is made of a tree chin or galvanized profile. It is attached to her nails or stapler brackets.

Laminate on the ceiling

Laying laminate on the balcony or loggia ceiling begins with the preparation of the surface used. At the same time, if before that the foundation was covered with plaster, it is better to get rid of it.

Then the frame design is made with a step, which is calculated, based on the size and width of the laminate panels. Cells of the crates can be both square and rectangular, and have a size that does not exceed 500x500 mm. On the perimeter of the ceiling, it is necessary to launch a ray with a width of at least 50 mm.

Installation of the crate begins with styling guides. Then they are attached to them. For laying electrical wiring, deep propuls are made in the clamp elements in which the wires are skipped. The fastening of laminate to the crate is made by analogy with the walls: with the help of glue, small nails or kleimers.

Laying the plinth and thresholds

Ends the work on finishing a balcony or loggia laminate installation of decorative elements - plinths and thresholds. Laying the plinth on the laminate is no less important and meaningful than the question: how to lay a laminate.

Finishing Stage - installation of plinths

These elements attach a neat and finished look, and also perform protective functions, preventing moisture, dust and dirt under the laminate. In addition, the bellows and plinth helps to hide small irregularities formed in the process of laying the material.

How to put video laminate video

And here you can watch a video on our article, which can be useful for mastering all the subtleties of laying material to the floor.

Possessing the maximum set of quality indicators, laminate, undoubtedly, is the best option for the flooring of the floor on the balcony.

Laminate design represents a multilayer structure. Each layer carries its functional load.

The top layer of the melamine resin is responsible for the wear resistance of the coating, the decorative layer imitates natural materials, the middle layer (HDV-stove) has strength and moisture resistance, the lower layer is responsible for the stability of the geometric dimensions.

Compressed by high pressure and high temperatures layers form a single slab with new chemical and physical characteristics.

Benefits

Laminate is a product of modern civilization that meets the high requirements for the floors. It is endowed with many positive characteristics, including: high wear resistance, moisture resistance, impact resistance, aesthetics, resistance to household chemicals, ease of installation, ease of care, fire resistance, climatic oscillation resistance.

disadvantages

However, the laminate has a number of disadvantages: it does not keep warm, demanding to the base, has a bad sound insulation.

Laying of laminate on the balcony

The process of laying laminate on the balcony is no different from the usual laying indoors. First you need to prepare a good reason and insulate it. It is recommended to use laminate 31-33 classes, withstanding high loads. The decor is selected, based on their individual taste.

  • Before laying align the base, lay the substrate. Mounting to produce at a temperature not lower than + 5 ° C. Boards lay parallel to the sunshine. Observe the chess order of laying.
  • The joints are recommended to handle silicone sealants protecting the seams from moisture ingress inside the connection.
  • It is necessary to observe technological gaps near the walls, establishing expansion wedges in the installation process.
  • To remember that the minimum length of the laminated lamellas should not be less than 30 cm.

If you are inserted with a comprehensive balcony finish, you should start making repairs from the ceiling and walls. Laying of laminate is the final stage of the finish.

To lay a laminate on the balcony in the winter period does not represent much difficulty.

Laminate is used as an outdoor coating in almost all types of residential and commercial premises. Some types of laminate can be used even indoors with high humidity or outdoors.

Since the balconies and loggia initially belong to the open premises that are not protected from the effects of atmospheric precipitation and the sharp drop of temperatures, in the article offered to your attention, we will pay special attention to the choice of the most suitable for your balcony (loggia) laminate so that you are not focused on The tips of the "experienced" grief - finishers, and proceeded from the feasibility of choosing a suitable type of laminate. By the ratio: price-quality.

Features of Laminate

The basis for the production of almost all varieties of laminate, chipboard, which, in accordance with European requirements for determining the quality and physical characteristics of construction and finishing materials, passes 18 different tests.

In accordance with the European Regulation (EN 13329), the Laminate is assigned "classes" that allow it to be divided into:

  • for home use (in residential areas);
  • for commercial use (offices of shopping halls of warehouses);
  • indoors with high humidity.

The cost of the laminate of various classes is very significantly different as the class of laminate is asundated. The difference in price between 21 and 43 classes can be a ratio of 1: 5.

Traditionally, domestic use in dry rooms use laminate 21-23 class.

  • 21 - for premises with low load on the floor: bedrooms, storage rooms;
  • 22 - for premises with an average load: living rooms, public facilities;
  • 23 - for premises with high load: corridors, hallways, kitchens, children's playrooms, gyms.

The "industrial" laminate is characterized by higher indicators for resistance to mechanical damage and abrasion of the surface due to the content of more epoxy resins, which are the main binding element of the wood base plate for the manufacture of laminate.

  • 31 - for workers' accounts;
  • 32 - for most office premises with a number of 2-10 people working;
  • 33 - for halls, corridors, adoptive, warehouse space.

In both classes, "moisture-resistant" types of laminate are allocated. Their ability to confront high humidity is enclosed in the technology of production of the base plates. In addition to more epoxy resins, filler in moisture-resistant laminates is not wooden "flour" - waste of the forest processing industry, and wood chips, in which the links between the fibers of the wood are not disturbed.

As a result of processing at high temperature and pressure, wood is compacted, its hygroscopic properties are significantly reduced. It practically ceases to absorb moisture.

41-43 Classes - at least in appearance and indistinguishable from ordinary laminate, have a completely different basis. In such laminates, it is not contained wood flour or chips. The role of fillers is performed by mineral materials: talc, sand, crushed volcanic rocks. Laminate 4xxx class is completely not susceptible to the effects of water and can be in it from several days to several months.

All types of "moisture-resistant" laminate have a greenish color of the substrate (the back side of the plate is "Eurostandard"). In addition to the color of the substrate on the packaging, characters must be applied: "umbrella" above which images of the drops are placed. The more drops over the "umbrella" - the higher the stability of the laminate to the effects of moisture.

After reading the properties of various classes of laminate, you can decide which one is more suitable for your balcony (loggia). In any case, for open (non-glazed) balconies that are planned to be used as home greenhouses (greenhouses) or for drying clothes, only moisture-resistant laminate should be treated!

Technology "Winter" laying of laminate

You can not always conduct finishing work on the installation of gender on the balcony in the warm period of the year. But even in winter, this type of finishing work can be carried out without any damage to quality. It is enough to comply with the recommendations that we will give you, and laminate on the balcony (loggia) will serve you for many years.

Alignment screed

The initial stage of arrangement of any flooring is the leveling of the base (balcony). Traditionally, this use leveling building mixes (bulk floors) to arrange a screed. But in winter, at an air temperature below 0 ° C, a number of conditions must be observed.

To prevent freezing and crystallization of water into ice into the building mixtures, special additives can be added, which reduce the water freezing threshold. These are:

  • UPD Supplement that allows you to fill the screed at temperatures up to -25 ° C. It not only accelerate the process of "setting" the solution, but also prevents the crystallization of water;
  • FTS. Additive based on alcohol-sodium-formative components. It is introduced into water, which is used for the preparation of cement mortar. Effective at temperatures up -15 ° C;
  • Hydroke. Liquid antifreeze, allowing concrete work at temperatures to -15 ° C;
  • Axol-K. Complex complex of substances of mineral and organic origin. Effective at air temperature to -10 ° C;
  • Win. The most suitable additive for dry mixtures, which is used to accelerate the "grasp" of the solution. The temperature depends on the concentration (from 2 to 8%), but not lower than -15 ° C;
  • Lingopan 4. accelerate "grasp" and the subsequent breaking of concrete. Used at temperatures up to -18 ° C.

The disadvantages of the alignment technology of the slab surface on the balcony (loggia), for the subsequent laying of laminate in the winter period, the fill of the leveling screed is a very long period of drying cement mixture and a set of necessary strength. If under conditions when the air temperature is higher than 0 ° C, a complete set of strength takes 28-30 days, then in winter conditions it may be necessary to be 2-3 times a longer period.

Preparation of the base without pouring screed

Significantly speeds up the process of laying the base. Use of a metal or wooden crate. At the same time, the alignment can be produced by simple lining under a metal profile or a wooden strip bar of the required thickness.

The crate device on the balcony is preferable to perform from wooden bars with a cross section of 40 x 40 or 50 x 50 mm. With the arrangement of the crate from the metal profile for the floor will be formed by "cold bridges". The non-heated floor will be wrapped, and the laminate on the balcony is covered with a pattern of Ineu cells, which will repeat the contour of the crate. With the device of "warm" floor - a significant amount of thermal energy is wasted, on heating the street. Tree due to low thermal conductivity devoid of these shortcomings.

Device of the base from the plates "Penoplex" or foam

On a small balcony area (loggia), it is possible to do without without a device of the crate, the only condition - the stove should not have a slope in any direction more than 1 °.

For the base, the extruded polystyol "Penoplex" of the brand 35 or 45 or foam of the PSB-C-35 and PSB-C-50 brand is selected. The stove thickness can be from 40 to 60 mm.

The indicated foam and foam brands are sufficiently dense, so that without prejudice to withstand the weight of an adult, without flexing and not a spring. They do not require a waterproofing device from the surface of the balcony plate. They can be put without using glue solutions that do not work at low temperatures. To do this, use a nail dowel with a wide hat "fungus".

Considering that at low temperatures, all building materials decrease in volume, when installing, it is necessary to arrange the clearance of 5-10 mm in the perimeter of the balcony and be sure to use the damper tape along the contour of the walls and the parapel. This will prevent the "fuel" of the floor in summer hot weather.

After laying a layer of insulation, its surface must be determined by the second layer of the rolled insulation. The optimal option is the use of "foam" - a foil rolled insulation of the "screen" type. Due to one of the surfaces of the subtle "mirror" layer of aluminum, this insulation up to 70% of thermal energy reflects the premises inside, significantly reducing energy consumption for heating a warm balcony.

Penofol can not be recorded to the first layer of insulation with adhesive mastic, and use two-sided construction tape for this. All joints between the sheets of "foam" are necessarily sampled by a special foil scotch. The thickness of "foam" does not play a significant role. It can vary from 3 to 10 mm.

The arrangement of "warm sex"

If you are planning to use a balcony in winter - you can equip the heated floor on it. The classic "warm floor" using an electrocabyl needed as a heating element is usually placed on the base and is filled with a screed. But, if you do not pour the screed, then the lags will have to pre-arrange the grooves, in depth exceeding the thickness of the heating cable by 5-10 mm. After that, fasten the surface of the lags by the "foam" and lay the heating cable over it.

It is much easier to perform this work using an infrared heating film, it simply spreads over the "foam" and directly on it laminate.

Laminate laying technology

Laying the laminate does not represent difficulties even for not very experienced in the finishing works of a homemade master.

This will require a minimum of the tool:

  • electrolovka (saw with fine tooth);
  • rubber kiyanka (white rubber);
  • mounting gun with acrylic sealant cartridge in laminate color;
  • screed for laminate - (special adaptation);
  • building retractable knife;
