Another revered pre-revolutionary icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" was originally located in the Church of the Annunciation at Zhitny Dvor, which was located on the territory of the Moscow Kremlin. After the Bolsheviks destroyed the Kremlin Church of the Annunciation in 1932, the icon was moved to the temple of Elijah the Prophet in Obydensky Lane.
