  3. The lamp cartridge is installed in the first disk, in a standard hole that does not require expansion.
  4. To secure discs with each other, you need to prepare the fastening brackets in advance, in the amount of 30 pieces. For three brackets, approximately one stationery clip is used. Their manufacture is made using bruises and pliers.
  5. The assembly of the lamp is performed in series using the brackets inserted into the hole and bent from the inside. Discs on brackets must be completely free to other CDs.
  6. Before fixing the adjacent discs, an electrolymppa is installed inside the lamp. Lamps are best suited, although they do not give enough sharp shadows.

    Step 1: Preparation


    Before starting work on the lamp, you need to collect the necessary parts and check whether all the tools are.

    Step 2: Make the bottom


    Take the circle from the fiberboard, and using the circus and a ruler, divide the circle to 12 sectors.

    Drill drill the desired holes.

    Cut 6 pieces of steel wire using pliers, each segment of 1 m. Bend each piece in the arc with the help of testicles or pliers.

    Now you need to attach it all to the bottom of the future lamp:
    1) Secure 3 rubber legs with bolts and screwdriver
    2) Secure the cartridge for the lamp in the central hole.

    As a result, the cartridge must "sit" in the center of the lamp.

    Step 3: Make the grille and the sphere from CDs


    Secure 6 arcuate lumps of the wire, inserting both ends into the holes.
    Now you need to wrap arc with hands or pliers to the desired form. As a result, a grille should turn out in the form of a sphere (see photo).

    Unnecessary wire edges can be cut off with nipples. The result is a grid of 12 steel wires in the form of a spherical cell (see photo).

    Now you can start vanit CDs. First you need to fill with disks only 6 rods close to the center. Alternate disks between the rods (lay the layer of 3 disks through one rod at a time - see photo). Each disk should lie on 2 adjacent. Each 5-10 layers check that the discs fall uniformly and symmetrically. Place between the rod and discs, pour silicone from the pistol.

    Repeat this procedure until the discs start again to overlap on each other. It will happen when the stacks of disks will be about 6 cm in height.

    In this place, it is necessary to drive alternately for 6 disks in the layer (see photo). As before, every 5-10 layers need to smoke the Silicone space between the disk and the rod. As a result, there will be 12 stacks of disks.
    Continue to string on 12 rods until it allows size, then go back to 6 rods again, having rolled 3 disks alternately.

    6 Stacks of disks should converge towards the center. Do not forget to pre-install the E27 lamp in the cartridge, since the discs will block access to the cartridge on the top.

    IMPORTANT:

  • do not use silicone for the last 5-10 layers of disks in case you need to replace the light bulb.
  • do not forget to correct the shape of the rods so that there is a symmetrical ball from the disks, in the process of rolling.

    Step 4: Top Lamp


    When the height of the stack of disks will reach about 26 cm, you need to wrap each end of the wire to the center. All excess wire must be cut off. As a result, it turns out, as in the photo.

    Now you need to hold the edges of the wire. Divide the circle (2 disk folded together) by 12 sectors.
    At each of the 12 drawn radii, mark 2 points to install the electrical connector. Drill drill 24 holes. Make sure that the distance between the two holes on each radius is suitable for your connectors you have.

    Disassemble the electrical connector to remove 12 metal connectors.

    Collect the top, put on the connector on each wire, secure the top disk on the connectors using bolts and screwdriver.

    We make bottom

    When you checked the readiness of materials to work, you can begin the main process of manufacturing the lamp from the disks:

    1. We take a circle of fiberboard and with the help of a circulation and a ruler divide it into 12 equal sectors. We connect the division points among themselves to schedule the center where the cartridge and steel wire will be inserted.
    2. To the bottom firmly screw the rubber legs.
    3. Using a drill, drill the holes for the cable.

    We make a metal grille and scope from the disks:

    • Fix 6 arcuate segments of the wire, inserting the ends into the base hole.
    • Watch arc with hands or tools to the desired form. We eventually need a design in the form of a sphere.
    • With the help of bruises, cut off the extra edges of the wire, we obtain a mesh of 12 wires as a spherical dome.
    • Now we are engaged in the rolling disc. Fill the disks first 6 reasons that are located near the center. Place between wire and disk close up silicone from the adhesive pistol. We do such manipulations until the disk stacks are 6 cm in height.

    How to make a picture of a "liquefaction" from CDs?

    • Stationery knife.

    We start creating a picture of the "liquefaction" from the disks:

    Preparatory stage

    • CDs can be found not only in the closet, they want to get rid of many of your friends, they will gladly share with you these unnecessary objects;
    • the circle for the base can be cut out of a piece of plywood or take a stand from the old lamp;
    • circul and triangular ruler - borrow from any schoolchild or buy, since they are inexpensive;
    • the rest of the materials are in the construction store;
    • tools can be asked from acquaintances if it does not work - you will also have to purchase.

    We make bottom

    To independently make the bottom of the lamp, you need to take a round billet from the fiberboard and using a ruler and circulation to divide it into 12 sectors. To do this, it is necessary to conduct 2 perpendicular lines passing through the center of the circle, and then measure the length of 1 from the radius. Putting a feet of a circulation into each of the 4 points on the rim and having sedodes passing through it, you can get serifs. When connecting them to the center of the circle, the borders of 12 sectors are obtained.

    In the center of the bottom it is necessary to drill a hole for the wire through which the lamp cartridge will be inserted. The position of the clamping cartridge in the workpiece should be fixed with liquid silicone. You also need to make 6 holes for steel wires on which discs will be located. Then the rubber legs are screwed to the base with bolts and screwdrivers, and the cartridge is fixed into the central hole.

    Tighten discs for chandeliers and form a frame

    In the holes located along the edges of the circle of the Fiberboard, you need to insert 6 segments of the steel wire and fasten them there. The length of each segment should be at least 1 m. The edges of the wire must be beatened so that their upper parts are connected in the form of a hemispheric dome, and the lower half lift, leaving straight. 12 segments of 50 cm wires should be tied up above the base: 6 curved and 6 straight lines.

    The curved segments should be located closer to the center, so they need to be filled with disks in 1 line. The plates will be superimposed on each other, so their overlay should be alternating: to 1 rod to impose 3 circles, then 3 and 5 - 3, after that, after 2, 4 and 6 rod to wear 3 discs, etc. Each round plate should lie on 2 adjacent. It is important to ensure that the discs are located smoothly and symmetrically. Their layers can be fixed with liquid silicone, pouring it between the rods and the central holes of the plates.

    After the height of the columns is 6 cm, you need to screw the light bulb into the cartridge. Then you can drive 6 disks at once on the straight wires and slicing with silicone every 10 layers.

    Important! The glue for this purpose is not necessary, it will damage plastic components.

    When 20 cm remains until the end of the rod, you should go to the curved wires and drive 3 disks on them, as the bottom of the design. These layers should not be fixed with silicone so that there was an opportunity to change the light bulb. Thus laid 6 minutes later. To make a chandelier from the disks, it is necessary to check the symmetry of their overlay all the time. After the correction of the uneven layers, you can move to the next stage of work.

    We collect the top of the construction

    Each end of the wire must be wrapped to the center, unnecessary parts can be trimmed.     Using a drill, you must carefully drill holes at the location of the points. The residues of the markup are better to erase with alcohol-containing fluid. The electrical connector should be disassembled and take 12 connectors from there. Each of them must be put on the wire and secure the top discs with a screwdriver with a screwdriver.
