Sometimes the washing machine needs to be turned off urgently and then turned on again (overloaded).

After self-draining the water from the drum, the washing machine will need to be turned off. To do this, first press the button that turns off the device programmatically, and then remove the plug from the socket. After 10-15 minutes, the hatch will unlock, depending on the model. When you need to continue washing, the appliance turns on as usual.

Important: Do not disconnect the plug from the outlet until you have pressed "Off". This can damage the electronics in the device and block the door. Repairing an electronic board is quite expensive. To reset a running program:

• By pressing the "Start" button, do not let go of it for five (sometimes longer) seconds. work will start on its own;

In order to stop the cycle and change the mode, you should:

• Press the reset button holding it until the drum stops;
• Select the required mode;
• Load detergent, if it's necessary;
• Run the program again.

If you need to change the amount of laundry in the drum, you will have to manually drain the water from it using the "Spin" mode or using the drain filter. On the old models of the South Korean brands Samsung and LG, there was no stop / start button, and the programs were started using the toggle switch. Experienced owners of indesit washing equipment have noticed that the filter elements that come with washing machines can often get clogged and can cause malfunctions in the drain system and even breakdown of the water supply valve. If you are confident in the quality of the water, it is better to remove the filter.

Another misconception is about saving on electricity. • no water supply - restart the machine by pressing the start and stop button. Check that the door is tightly closed and that there is sufficient water pressure. Is the water tap turned off?
• if after pressing the start button nothing happens, repeat the same actions. Check if the water supply hose is damaged or if the delayed wash cycle has started;
• check the installation height of the drain hose if there is a constant drainage and water intake. Bring the high point of the hose to a height of 70 centimeters;
• extraneous loud sounds can be caused by solid objects falling into the washing machine drum that have fallen out of pockets - coins, fountain pens, and so on;
• Excessive foaming makes it difficult to work and is caused by the wrong selection of detergent powder. Washing powder should be specially designed for automatic machines;

• the “spin” function does not work or water does not come out after the “rinse” cycle - the drain hose may be bent or clogged. The mode may not be correctly selected. With the modes - "light ironing" or "no spinning" there may be such an effect. Restart the washing process by pressing the "Start / Pause" button. If you need to change the running program, proceed like this:

• press the "Start / Pause" or "Start / Pause" button and hold it for 3-5 seconds;
• wait for the washing machine to stop completely (in some SMA, in automatic mode, before stopping, it is mandatory to drain the water);
• select the desired washing mode;
• add powder to the cuvette, if necessary;
• start the CM by pressing "Start" or "Start".

If you need to report a thing to the drum or, on the contrary, remove a foreign object, then pressing the Start / Pause button will not be enough. You will have to drain the water here.

You do not need to drain the top-loading washing machine. After stopping, it is enough to open the doors of the drum and get out unnecessary or report the necessary things.

How to proceed in this case?

Otherwise, you will have to drain the water manually through the emergency drain hose or drain filter. After the procedure, press "Off", unplug the power cord and wait 10 minutes. After unlocking the door, carry out the necessary manipulations and start the washer again.

If the electricity supply suddenly stopped, the equipment should be de-energized, that is, unplug the power cord from the outlet. This will save it from possible breakdown in the event of a power surge at the time the electricity supply is resumed. After the power supply is restored, plug the CM into the network. It is enough to select the "Spin" program while simultaneously pressing the "No Spin" button. After a couple of minutes, the water will drain and the door of the machine will be unlocked. When the equipment does not react to anything, it is worth using the secret of computer scientists: "Seven troubles - one reset". That is, just unplug the power cord and turn it on again after a while. The main thing is to prevent such a situation as blocking the washing machine.
