Three-phase asynchronous electric motors of the AO2-9 series are designed to drive various mechanisms in stationary installations and to work as a drive mechanisms on ships of an unlimited swimming area except emergency equipment. They are manufactured for the needs of the national economy, as well as for the needs of the Navy of Russia with marine and river registers of shipping of the Russian Federation. The three-phase asynchronous electric motors of the AO2-9 series are also manufactured in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documentation for nuclear power plants.
Conventional engine sizes:
A - an asynchronous engine with a short-circuited rotor;
O - blown closed;
2 - sequence number of the series;
9 is the sequence number of the dimension (the height of the axis of rotation in 280 mm);
1,2 - symbol Stator core lengths;
0 - special performance with reduced power;
4, 6, 8, 10 are the number of poles;
A - Special execution with acceptance of Rosatom
Y, ohm - climatic execution according to GOST 15150;
3, 4 is the placement category according to GOST 15543-70.
Constructive design and installation method: IM 1001, IM 1002, IM 2001, IM2002, IM 3011 (according to GOST 2479-79). At the request of the customer, engines are manufactured with another installation method.
Climatic performance - Moderate, general-climatic marine (y, ohm) according to GOST 15150.
Degree of protection From exposure ambient IP 44 according to GOST 17494.
Operating mode - Long-term S1 according to GOST 183-74 (for general industrial) and S1 according to GOST R 52776 (for execution with the acceptance of Rosatom and the ship execution).
Security class - 2N on NP-001 (for execution with acceptance "Rosatom").
Category of seismic resistance - I on NP-031 (for execution with the acceptance of Rosatom).
Execution level of earthquake - 9 points on the MSK-64 scale (for execution with acceptance Rosatom).
Type of current - variable three-phase.
Current frequency - 50 and 60 Hz.
Voltage - 220 / 380V or 380 V. At the request of the customer it is possible to make engines to another voltage.
Direction of rotation - anyone.

M1 according to GOST 17516.1-90 (for general industrial execution),
M6 according to GOST 17516.1 (for execution with acceptance "Rosatom"),
M46 according to GOST 17516 (for ship execution).
Engine cooling method - IC01 according to GOST 20459-87 (for general industrial execution) and IC0141 according to GOST 20459 (for execution with acceptance "Rosatom").
Heating resistance class The insulation of the stator winding is not lower than B according to GOST 8865-87 (for general industrial execution) and H according to GOST 8865 (for ship execution).
Noise level The engines should not exceed the limit values:
3 class according to GOST 16372-84 (for general industrial execution),
1 class according to GOST 16372-84 (for execution with the acceptance of Rosatom),
Tables # 1 GOST R 53148 (for ship execution).

Asynchronous engines of general industrial assignment types A2 and AO2 are designed for a long mode of operation from a three-phase alternating current network.
Nominal characteristics (power, current, voltage, number of revolutions, coefficient useful action) refer to the nominal values \u200b\u200bof climatic factors external environment and minimum values Environmental temperatures: -40 ° C during operation and -45 ° C during storage.
Electric motors of all dimensions are made with six output ends. Scheme connection of windings - "Triangle", "Star" and a triangle / star at the request of the customer.

Example of the conditional designation:
AO2-62-4U3 is an electric motor of a closed plotting with a bed and locks from the cast iron, the 6th dimension, the 2nd length of the core, a four-pole (1500 rpm), climatic execution in the category of placement 3.

9.9.4. Multi-speed engines of the A2 series, AO2The A2 and AO2 series engines were intended to drive mechanisms with stepped speed adjustment.
