How to open a computer club - we offer a step-by-step business plan + 8 clear steps to open your project.

Capital investments in the Internet club: 863,000 rubles.
Payback period according to the business plan: 12 months.

How much time do you spend on the Internet?

The information network attracts more and more people, it has become an integral part of our lives.

Your own computer club is a real way to turn an expense item of millions of people into a source of income for you.

The main document that will help in this direction is computer club business plan.

We will analyze the features of the business and the main points that you need to pay attention to.

Most likely, you think that the Internet is present in every home.

How can you get a consumer sitting in a comfortable chair to get up and go to such an institution?

But a real entrepreneur must look at things deeper, delve into the essence of things.

The Internet is a network.

It allows you to be in close contact with huge masses of people who have common interests, problems, values, hobbies.

Let's turn to sociology: a group of people with common interests tends to unite - this is a fact.

The idea of opening a computer club is to provide such an opportunity for people to gather in one place.

The entrepreneur gives joy to the guests, and keeps the income for himself.

What list of documents is included in the computer club business plan?

The first step that should be taken when opening your computer business is to properly formalize the enterprise.

To register a Limited Liability Company, certain conditions are required:

    The presence of one or more founders.

    They can be both individuals and legal entities.

    Initial capital (minimum 10,000 rubles).

    The amount can be contributed both in money and property.

    Initially, you can deposit 5,000 rubles, and then, within 12 months, deposit the rest of the amount.

    It is necessary to draw up a statute.

    This document is mandatory and is often developed on the basis of a sample, simply by changing the necessary data.

After fulfilling all the conditions indicated above, the second stage begins - the assembly of a package of documents for registering a computer business.

The list of necessary documentation in order to open a computer club is indicated in the form of a table:

DocumentRegistration method
Confirmation of the uniqueness of the club nameContact Rospatent
Business Location ConfirmationInterregional Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Centralized Data Processing.
Memorandum of associationIt is drawn up at the notary until the charter of the LLC is drawn up
Data on the size of the initial investmentStatement from the relevant bank, with the exact amount of the investment
The decision to open an LLCIssue according to the instructions posted on the website of the Federal Tax Service
Details of the bank where the company's account is opened.Statement from the relevant bank

Only after collecting all the necessary documents and placing the enterprise in the register of the federal tax service, the process of opening a computer club can be completed.

If you have any difficulties with registering a company, it is better to seek help from an experienced lawyer.

He will be able to organize the process properly.

The cost of resolving issues of this kind will cost from 10,000 rubles. (it all depends on the experience of the lawyer and the office he represents).

Marketing Analysis for Computer Club Business Plan

1. Analysis of the target audience.

At the second stage of designing a business plan, you need to clearly define the target audience of the club that you decide to open.

Any institution works for the consumer, blindly - this is the key to the failure of the project.

Who can be the target audience of a computer club?

In order to answer this question, it is necessary to understand one important detail - now it is impossible to attract visitors only by the presence of powerful computers and uninterrupted access to the network.

Most potential guests have a computer at home, they do not need to visit such establishments.

Below is a diagram that opens the reader's eyes to how many percent of the adult population of Russia are aware of the existence of the Internet and actively use all its resources

The chart shows the percentage of the total population of Russia.

The computer club will be located in a city where approximately 80% of the residents are constantly exposed to the Internet and use it.

After analyzing this information, we will determine the main target audience, based on the possible goals of visiting a computer club.

The main goal of a modern visitor is team battles in popular games (World of Tanks, Total War, Dota 2, etc.).

We determine the age of a standard visitor - 14–26 years old, i.e. these are schoolchildren, students or simply working people who are interested in spending time together in a computer club.

Also, one cannot discard that small percentage of guests whose goal is stable Internet access.

Let's look at the future visitors of our club more clearly:

2. List of competitive advantages.

When compiling a business plan for a computer club, we must focus on the payback of the enterprise and a steady income.

The goal is to determine why the consumer should choose our establishment, how it compares favorably with competitors' establishments.

Creating competitive advantages in practice is a very difficult task.

To solve it, a deep analysis of the properties of the product is required, in our case, the computer club itself can be called a product.

Let's list its properties:

  • The quality of Internet services.
    High speed and uninterrupted access to the network.
  • The level of technical equipment.
    The quality of computers in the club, technical indicators that allow you to demonstrate the best performance.
  • The location of the computer establishment.
  • Staff.
    Ability to provide quality service.
  • Convenience of the client's workplace.
  • The quality of food and drinks.
  • Interior design solution.
  • Atmosphere.

Having determined the properties of a computer club, we will determine its merits.

In practice, the most significant qualities for visitors were comfort and compliance with the pricing policy for the services offered.

In order for a business to bring money, you need to try to design all the exceptional qualities in the early stages.

Marketing does not forgive mistakes!

When developing a business plan, you should be based on the idea of maximizing all the qualities of the enterprise, achieving maximum competitive advantages.

Promotion methods or how to open a computer club and attract more people to it?

Advertising of the enterprise guarantees it an increase in the flow of customers, more guests - more money.

Let's set the task for marketing in the business plan - it is necessary to attract as many residents of the city as possible to the club.

The correct formulation of the problem is very important, because now we understand that the audience of visitors is limited to residents of the city, and perhaps even a small area where the club is located.

Given the specifics of the institution, we suggest considering the most localized promotion approaches.

Their list and implementation is shown below:

    Publications in the local press.

    We are ready to declare to all skeptics that the press will never go into the distant past, even printed forms of publications do not lose popularity.

    Publications on local Internet resources.

    It is logical to promote a computer club on the Internet.

    Word of mouth radio.

    For a small amount, the city's residents are ready to spread any information.

    Loyalty programs.

    Example: give a discount to people of retirement age.

    In this way, you can achieve the location of the public, respect for business.

    Don't lose touch with consumers.

    Keep in touch with them, congratulate them on significant events, the manifestation of attention entails the same effect - only in your direction.

    Atmosphere.

    Create such an atmosphere of the establishment that the guest would like to return to you and grab a couple of friends.

    You can position customers by writing a positive review on a local level forum.

When designing a business plan for a computer club, you need to pay attention to quality marketing.

Choosing a room for a computer club

A computer club should be opened in a densely populated residential area of the city.

Why is this decision correct?

Our target audience according to the business plan is students and schoolchildren, i.е. the time of greatest activity is reduced to 16.00 - 23.00 (after study or work).

This is the very moment when this contingent walks confidently towards their home (few students live in the center).

The first factor provoked the appearance of the second one - the proximity to the house is very convenient (remember the competitive advantages!).

The cost of rent is much lower, which will reduce costs.

    Room characteristics

    A computer club is an institution where customers work with equipment, i.e. we need to pay attention to fire safety, climate control, high-quality electricity, access or the ability to accommodate the technical equipment of a high-speed network distribution point.

    The cost of rental services

    Renting a room for a computer club of 50 sq.m will cost about 23,000 - 24,000 rubles. (the cost can range from 10,000 to 40,000 rubles).

Selection of equipment for a computer club

Minimum equipment checklist for 15 workplaces (+administrator's place) according to the business plan:
NameQtyPrice
(1 piece / rub.)
Price
(total rub.)
Total: RUB 706,000
PC (full assembly)
16 33 000 528 000
Computer desk
16 6 000 96 000
office chair
16 4 500 72 000
Access point (complete assembly)
1 10 000 10 000

Recruitment for the club

The staff is the soul of the institution, if everything is in order with the service in your club, customers will return again and again.

Let's make a list of required employees:

    Administrator.

    If you are going to work around the clock, you will need several people for this position.

    System Administrator.

    A very important employee, is directly responsible for the operation of the equipment.

    Accountant.

    Working with the cash register also requires a separate person, the calculation of taxes, payments is a very painstaking task.

    Security guard.

    When there is so much equipment in the institution, without descriptions it is obvious what a security guard is needed for.

The minimum wage in Russia is 7,500 rubles, i.e. we expect that employees will receive an average of 15,000 - 18,000 rubles. per month.

Do not forget about taxes: for each employee you will have to pay about 15% of his income.

Using the method of simple mathematical operations, we calculate the total amount: ~ 73,000 rubles.

The video shows an example of arranging a computer club:

Financial section of the computer club business plan

“If you go to the goal and stop on the way to throw stones at every dog that barks at you, you will never reach the goal.”
Fedor Dostoevsky

Let's calculate how much money we need to open a computer club.

It is necessary to take into account the rental of premises, inspections of sanitation stations, the cost of equipment and the salary of employees.

By eliminating the technical equipment and replacing it with technical support, the maintenance of the business will cost 127,000 rubles.

To determine the payback period after the opening, we calculate the daily income of the club.

When loading the hall with 10 people for 24 hours and the cost of an hour is 30 rubles. per person, it turns out 216,000 per month.

Subtract the amount of the monthly investment: in total we have 89,000 rubles.

In this article, we answered the question how to open a computer club.

The payback period for the project was 12 months.

With careful design and dedication to building a business, a project is sure to be a success.

Are you ready to give a year of your life to realize your dream?

Some people think that computer clubs are unprofitable these days. Like, who needs them? Many people have a computer, laptop, tablet at home... Who will go there? But is it?

Who needs computer clubs?

Firstly, there are still quite a few people who cannot imagine their lives without a few DotA games or dizzying races with friends.

In addition, sometimes there is a need to quickly find certain information on the network, print it or send a letter. And if a computer or laptop is not at hand, first of all, a person begins to look for an Internet salon located nearby.

Opening a computer club is a truly profitable solution, an idea that will bring you a tangible income in the near future.

Step 1. Finding a suitable location

Unlike other lines of business, in this case, proximity to the city center is not of decisive importance, so it’s not worth overpaying for a place “under the sun”.

The key factor in this case is the opportunity to open a round-the-clock computer club. Without this, you can lose a significant part of your potential customers.

In addition, you should focus on the availability of the premises. Your salon should not be too far from public transport stops and busy streets - otherwise, your customers may simply be intercepted by competitors.

And one more important point, which, willy-nilly, you will have to pay attention to when deciding the question: "How to open a computer club?" It's about choosing between renting or buying a property. Given that the basis of this business is a mobile computer network, which, if necessary, can be easily moved to another location, in order to save money, it would be more logical to rent a room. However, if you decide to firmly "take root" in the chosen place and have enough money, you can buy it. This will allow you to significantly reduce your monthly expenses in the future.

Technical requirements

It is important that the room has electricity, climate control systems, and not too much humidity. Immediately take care to carry out high-speed Internet and arrange its distribution between all computers. Another point is the compliance of the premises with modern fire safety requirements.

Of course, a computer club must have an emergency exit and a bathroom.

Step 2. Paperwork

No matter how you resist, but having decided to open your own computer club, you will have to talk with representatives of some government agencies that control the activities of entrepreneurs.

First of all, we are talking about the sanitary and epidemiological service. According to the current sanitary standards, each working (playing) place should not be less than 4 m 2. By the way, this factor also needs to be taken into account when choosing a room for rent or purchase.

In addition, SES employees must record the level of electromagnetic radiation near each computer. You will have to pay for this service (about 1000 rubles for checking each device). Not fair? Perhaps, but without this, you can only dream of your own computer club.

Finally, you will have to cooperate with the youth department of the district or city state administration. It would seem, what does he have to do with it at all? It's even smarter here. You must carefully monitor your visitors so that you are not accused of distracting schoolchildren from school and serving as a "den" for difficult children.

According to our law, students are not allowed to be in computer clubs during lessons, and children under the age of 14 should not stay at your place after 21:00. By the way, violation of the second condition is fraught with large fines from the police, so you should not turn a blind eye to flagrant violations (even out of sincere human solidarity).

Which OKVED code to choose for an online salon?

Another important point to consider when opening a computer club is OKVED. Depending on which code will be used, you will be able to register your establishment on certain conditions. Unfortunately, the item "Computer club" in the classification is simply missing. Therefore, almost all owners of such establishments choose from alternative options:

  • 72.60 - other activities related to the use of information technology and computer technology;
  • 93.05 - provision of other personal services;
  • 74.84 - provision of other services.

However, regarding this issue, it is best to consult with a specialist who can evaluate your activities and choose the most appropriate option from the point of view of the law.

Step 3. Purchase of equipment

This is perhaps the most important stage in organizing your business. If you are interested in how to open a computer club, you should understand that in order for your establishment to bring you tangible profits, you must have at least 15 machines at your disposal.

Many aspiring entrepreneurs make the same mistake of obsessing over computer games. Meanwhile, it is equally important to provide your customers with a high-speed Internet access channel.

Why is corporate Internet access so important?

It should be separately emphasized that corporate Internet access is not at all the same as a home access point. Moreover, the difference lies not only in cost, but also in bandwidth and data exchange speed. The price of the cheapest access to the network with an information transfer rate of up to 256 Kbps is about 6 thousand rubles. However, given the current needs of customers, even this is not enough. The best option is a channel of 50 Mbps or more. And the cost of such a connection can reach 60-80 thousand rubles. per month.

Popular fifteen years ago and then disappeared computer clubs are returning: in less than a year, three large establishments with a total area of more than 8 thousand square meters were opened in Moscow alone. m

There are about 30,000 computer clubs in South Korea, while in Russia there are hardly 300,” says Yaroslav Komkov, managing partner of the eSports agency Winstrike. He had just returned from Asia and was impressed: there are clubs in almost every building - all of Korea is playing. Komkov is going to open a network of computer clubs in the US, Europe and Asia, has already attracted investments, but has not yet disclosed the details.

A new wave of popularity for clubs today is provided by the development of e-sports. Not all young people have the hardware necessary for modern games, and even more so VR devices, explains Robert Meliksetyan, head of digital content at J’son & Partners Consulting. In 2016, the global eSports market reached $463 million, until 2019 it will add an average of 32.3% annually, according to a study by Newzoo.

Russia is the leader of this movement in the European region both in terms of market size ($35.4 million) and audience (2.2 million people). Moreover, the Russian segment of the industry in the next two years will grow by an average of 11% per year in monetary terms and by almost 40% in terms of the number of participants, according to J'son & Partners Consulting. This is partly why computer clubs in Russia have received a second life. True, for this they had to be rethought.

To the club by appointment

“In 2008, we suddenly discovered that there was no longer a queue for the club,” recalls Denis Bogush, chairman of the Belarusian Cybersport Federation and owner of the oldest computer club in Belarus, Tarantula. Designed for 40 cars, "Tarantula" was opened in Minsk in 2001, then "it was fashionable."

Back in 2006-2007, people signed up for Tarantula by phone and stood in lines, Bogush says with nostalgia. “We had cards that we issued to customers. The longer he waited, the greater the discount was: an hour you wait - 10%, two hours - 20%. We knew in advance that at 8:45 in the morning, after the first lesson, there would be a bunch of calls from schoolchildren,” laughs Bogush.

During the crisis of 2009, the entrepreneur did not take advantage of the fact that customers had lost the opportunity to upgrade their home machines, as there was not enough money for the planned hardware upgrade in the club - thus, he could not attract new audience to the club. And after the economic situation began to improve, people massively got high-speed Internet and they began to get out of the house less often.

The total area of the two-story building Yota Arena is 5 thousand square meters. m

Bogush then even wanted to close the business, but today Tarantula not only pays for itself, but also makes a profit of about $3,000 per month. For comparison, in the peak years of 2002-2003, the club brought in $1.5 thousand, says Bogush. In 2016, net profit amounted to about $30 thousand, in previous years - $5-6 thousand less. “People have played enough with bad graphics, now they want to achieve results in the game, and it’s impossible to do this without a powerful computer,” the entrepreneur explains a new round of popularity of his offspring.

For the first computer clubs in the 1990s, their owners rented any premises, put 40 computers in a row and rented them out for 20 rubles. per hour, says Nikita Bokarev, head of the media direction of the ESforce holding (formerly Virtus.pro). Bokarev recalls that the number of such establishments was in the hundreds. “Anything could happen in them, the rooms were constantly smoky and there was no security.”

We communicate with Bokarev while walking around the Yota Arena building, which opened on May 19, 2017. A year and a half before the opening ceremony of USM Holding, Alisher Usmanov and partners promised to invest $100 million in Virtus.pro. The top manager of the esports holding ESforce is sure: “Today, an old format computer club would not survive.” In his opinion, people need new entertainment - the ability to use VR, eat in a cafe, they need a special atmosphere that is created by cybersport paraphernalia, and all this in one place.

"Mecca of eSports"

The total area of Yota Arena is about 5 thousand square meters. m. In addition to a large space for e-sports competitions, there is a restaurant with a copy of the throne from the "Game of Thrones" and a FragStore store of paraphernalia and souvenirs for gamers. Also in Yota Arena on 216 sq. m opened a computer club for 90 seats. The creation of the complex cost $ 10 million, how much of them went directly to the computer club, the company does not disclose.

Yota Arena was conceived primarily as a meeting place for gamers and eSports tournaments, but then it would be active only during the competition, explains Bokarev. The computer club makes it possible to create a place for e-sportsmen to train in Moscow. It shows several separate rooms. One of them is hidden behind the fallout safehouse door. Inside, at the entrance are two statues from World of Warcraft. Despite the gaming paraphernalia, the hall does not give the impression of a place for youth recreation. In the middle there is a table with a white tablecloth, beautiful dishes and candlesticks, on the wall there is a large “plasma” for watching broadcasts, there is also a waiter dedicated to serving guests. Everything is designed for adults, accomplished people, because the “portrait of an esportsman” has changed: both the audience of fans and the players themselves are growing up. And more and more money is coming into the market.

Gamers come to the club even in summer: during the day - teenagers, and in the evening - people over 35 years old (Photo: Arseniy Neskhodimov for RBC)

“Former players who were champions in the early 2000s like to come to us,” explains Bokarev. They don't play as often anymore, but they continue to follow tournaments, he added. Bokarev himself played professionally in Counter-Strike in 2005-2011 and led the forZe esports team. In 2007, he was the creative director of a computer club in Moscow, but it didn't pay off.

However, the majority of visitors to the Yota Arena club are members of young eSports teams who have not yet played in tournaments: it is important for them to get fast Internet, modern computers and sit next to each other in order to communicate. Fans of tournaments and competitions are the core of the club. “They consider Yota Arena a kind of eSports Mecca,” proudly says the top manager of ESforce.

What is happening now is somewhat similar to what happened a decade and a half ago, Bokarev believes: the players spontaneously unite again and found clans, they need a place where they can gather and not only play, but also discuss something. On average, a player spends four to five hours in the club, although one game, for example in Dota, takes about one and a half.

Not only a gamer will come to a modern computer club, but also a person who is not familiar with the industry, Nikita Bokarev, ESforce top manager, is sure (Photo: Arseniy Neskhodimov for RBC)

Security is on duty at Yota Arena around the clock, it is always clean, monitors with a maximum diagonal, comfortable gaming chairs, mice and keyboards are praised in the holding. However, fans and old-timers of eSports are by no means the only audience that can be lured into the new generation of computer clubs.

Salvation from shopping

Andrey Komogorov, an ex-employee of Euroset, in October 2015 helped the Tele2 operator to enter Moscow: his company Clover Estate found premises for opening more than 250 communication stores. And already at the beginning of 2016, he rented almost 1.3 thousand square meters. m in the Aviapark shopping center and opened the eSports club Gamer Stadium. The idea came unexpectedly. “I saw potential customers: men and teenagers who are bored while women are shopping. They are no longer interested in going to KidZania, and cinema is a long time.” Komogorov calls Gamer Stadium a stadium.

He invested $500,000 from his personal savings in the opening of Gamer Stadium. They went to the construction of the site, the purchase of computers and furniture. It was possible to reach operational zero in the first month of operation. Komogorov wanted to cut part of the costs and get computers in exchange for the promotion of manufacturers in the club, but the plan did not work and the purchase of hardware cost 5 million rubles. The cost of equipping one place for a professional player starts from 100,000 rubles, Komogorov specifies.

Players spend an average of four to five hours at the club. The format of establishments has changed: they have food, drinks, security and technical support (Photo: Arseniy Neskhodimov for RBC)

In retail, a game set of a computer and a monitor can cost from several thousand to hundreds of thousands of rubles, says Dmitry Kravchenko, CEO of Acer in Russia. In 2017, the company supplied "several tens of thousands of dollars" worth of computers and monitors to the Cyberspace club, equipping most of the venues (there are a total of 97). The club "on special terms" purchased Acer GX 781 desktops and Predator XB241 monitors - their recommended retail price is 99.9 thousand and 37.9 thousand rubles. accordingly, adds Kravchenko.

In two years, the Gamer Stadium club should recoup the investment. Then Komogorov will begin to expand the network to Russian million-plus cities: the entrepreneur plans to focus on educational lectures and projects related to IT. For example, Komogorov is negotiating with Microsoft and Mail.Ru Group to organize training courses. Already, one of the rooms with computers in Gamer Studium is rented by the Algorithm school.

"Singles" - visitors to the shopping center and gamers - bring Gamer Stadium over 500 thousand rubles. per month, says Komogorov. “In retail, summer is a dead season, but even in June things were going well: bad weather in Moscow played into our hands,” the owner of a computer club rejoices.

When buying a Gamer Stadium club card for 1 thousand rubles. all services of the institution and goods in the bar are purchased with a 50% discount, for example, an hour of the game will cost 100 rubles. instead of 200 rubles. For comparison, 60 game minutes in Yota Arena cost 50 rubles. (one of the lowest price tags on the market), in Cyberspace - from free promo to 150 rubles. depending on the time of day.

Andrey Komogorov plans to open computer clubs in shopping centers in every million-plus city (Photo: Arseniy Neskhodimov for RBC)

However, Gamer Stadium receives most of its revenue from corporate clients: the cost of renting a club with staff services for the whole day starts from 118 thousand rubles. In May 2017 alone, seven events took place at Komogorov's establishment. The Yota Arena club also relies on corporate clients. The company can get the site for free, the main thing is payment for service in the restaurant, food and alcohol, says Bokarev. The average check in a restaurant is 1.5-2 thousand rubles. per person while three major events have taken place. Yota Arena does not count on a quick payback: in the spring of 2017, ESforce Holding managing partner Anton Cherepennikov said that the planning horizon was seven years.

In Cyberspace, owned by IT distributor Pronet and earned in the shopping center "Riviera" in July 2017 on an area of 2 thousand square meters. m, decided not to go in cycles in corporate clients. For a month of work, income is divided equally - from visitors and organization of events, said company representative Maria Koroleva. In addition, Cyberspace has a major "strategic partner" - the Russian eSports company Vega Squadron. If there is not enough space at the training base in the Moscow region, the players come to the Riviera, said the creator and owner of Vega Squadron Alexei Kondakov. This is how Cyberspace gets an additional audience: team fans come to chat with their idols at the club and spend money there, Kondakov noted.

“There are several high-profile openings [of computer clubs in Moscow], but this is unlikely to become a mass phenomenon,” Gadzhi Makhtiev, founder of the publication about games Kanobu, doubts the trend is promising. However, queues are lining up, which means that something in the reincarnation of clubs already reminds visitors of the past, he argues.

In today's world, the Internet is almost indispensable. Despite the fact that every day it is becoming more and more popular in private houses and apartments, it is still not possible to stretch fiber everywhere and make traffic affordable and inexpensive. In this case, a specialized institution that provides access to the Internet for a fee can be an excellent alternative. It can be a large Internet club or a relatively small one. In the latter option, a small room is rented, in which up to 20 workplaces with computers and software are equipped.

A large computer club has 30-50 rather powerful machines with high-speed Internet, VIP rooms and cafes. Institutions of this magnitude pay off slowly, as they require serious capital investments, but they usually do not have problems with regulatory authorities. But regardless of the format of the future institution, you will definitely need a competent and accurate business plan for a computer club.

Legal Issues

Any business must be legal from a legal point of view, and gaming is no exception. The best organizational and legal form for opening a computer club is an individual entrepreneur (individual entrepreneur). First you need to come up with a memorable and sonorous name for the club, which is related to computer topics.

In order to register an institution, you will need:

  • application for registration;
  • memorandum of association;
  • the charter of the future enterprise and information about the founder of the club;
  • a receipt certifying the payment of the state duty;
  • documents that confirm the consent of the antimonopoly authorities.

It is also necessary to settle all issues with regulatory authorities. It is usually difficult to meet all the requirements, so their decision will depend on many factors. In order for the institution to work around the clock, you will need to obtain permission from the police department.

If you plan to open a small gaming computer club, then it does not make sense to immediately spend money on buying licensed software, but you still need to take into account that it will be necessary to purchase it in the future. This can be done through the Russian representative offices of manufacturing companies. Before you install a licensed program, you will need a special license that allows it to be used commercially. It can be bought from a distributor company, the cost of a license is calculated individually for each computer club.

Location selection

The best place to open such an institution is a sleeping area with a large population or a street where a significant number of educational institutions are concentrated. A good place for a computer club is a busy intersection, a market area or a large store. It is undesirable to open an institution of such a plan in residential buildings, since the audience of the gaming computer club is quite noisy, so the residents will definitely complain. In addition, in a residential building, the club is most often located in the basement, respectively, it will be difficult to obtain permits from the sanitary and epidemiological station and the fire inspectorate.

The cost of rent per square meter in residential areas is usually low, so the annual payment will not be too high.

Back to index

Clients and demand for services

The main visitors of the computer club will be:

  • students and schoolchildren visiting the institution not only for educational purposes, but also for the game;
  • clients of different ages who do not often go to a computer club.

Considering that the sphere of distribution of computer services is quite developed, the main attention in the process of developing a project should be given to the relationship between the user and the seller.

It is necessary to place the main emphasis on the qualifications, competence and friendliness of the managers who will serve the gaming hall.

The services of a computer club are almost always in demand. But at the same time, seasonal deviations up or down are possible. During exams and sessions at universities, attendance for educational purposes increases significantly, while games begin to interest potential customers during school holidays.

In the pricing process, it is important to take into account the purchasing power of the intended customers and the quality of the services provided.

Necessary equipment and staffing

The next step is the purchase of equipment. Here it is important not to save on the purchase of the necessary equipment, since many visitors come to play in a computer club, and games require high-quality and modern equipment. Therefore, the more powerful the equipment, the more visited the institution will be. You will also need to purchase printers and scanners, appropriate furniture: tables, chairs; equip the workplace of the administrator.

The next step is to find the right staff for the job. For technical support and configuration of computer hardware and software, you will need several people. You can invite students of specialized universities who live nearby. If we talk about a small club, then 3-4 people will be enough for its normal operation, who will serve the software and work with clients. You will also need one system administrator. Basically, computer clubs work around the clock, so you need to organize work in two shifts. You can not do without a security guard, as the institution will have expensive equipment.

For the official registration of personnel, it will be necessary to register an employment contract in many instances, such as tax, social, pension and medical insurance funds. You will need to keep payroll records, start work books and tax cards for each employee. Therefore, if possible, it is better to negotiate with a large organization so that the staff is registered there, and then leased to the club. As a result, you can get rid of paperwork, which will be handled by the personnel department of the enterprise. An accountant will be needed to maintain accounting records if the owner of the club cannot handle this business.

Ways to effectively advertise

After the opening of a new computer club, you can start an advertising campaign. For this you will need:

  • post leaflets with prices and the address of the club at schools and entrances of houses (before compiling the layout of the advertisement, it is important to consider that the main target audience is teenagers 10-18 years old);
  • place ads on the Internet on specialized sites;
  • create a noticeable and bright sign with a detailed list of services provided;
  • regularly arrange various promotions and tournaments;
  • create a system of discounts, for example, for clients who work more than three hours in a row.

Computer club development

For a newly opened establishment, it is important to provide a sufficient level of service, because most computer clubs are usually inattentive to their customers. Since a specific audience usually gathers in this place, it is necessary to act outside the box. There are situations when the older guys demand money from the younger ones. Therefore, as an option, you can give the hooligans a free subscription for a month. You can also try to attract the attention of visitors to your institution with the help of various contests with monetary rewards. Or create a leaderboard.

It is necessary to come up with and implement original ideas, as a result, the constant development of even a small club will help to significantly increase the monthly revenue from each computer. Over time, the institution will be able to move to a new level, whose clients will be a wealthy public. The following services can be provided:

  • high-speed Internet access;
  • copying and burning discs;
  • work with office applications;
  • scanning various documents;
  • printout of files;
  • photocopying;
  • conducting computer courses.

It may be necessary to create two halls: one, a game room, for young people, the other for more serious clients.
