First you need to check whether it works at all. Screw it from one extreme position to another. One of the provisions should result in a characteristic click, which makes the closed contacts. It is through them that feeds on a tan of iron. Leaving the thermostat in this position, check the presence of electrical contact.

Two contacts depart from the temperature controller (they are connected to the wires that go to the TEN). To them and touch the arrivals of the multimeter (transverse mode). During cleaning, try to flex the plates at a minimum - so as not to weaken the contact.

Sometimes the regulator turns hard. Capturing it with pliers or passages, rotate it there and here until they achieve a smoother course. After that, you need to take a simple pencil and grate a knot graphite. It does not hit when high temperatures And has good lubricating properties.

Fuse
