Partitions of the Knauf system: advantages and disadvantages, features of use. Knauf company: description of installation technology and materials required for this

Alphonse and Karl Knauf are siblings. Both received the education of a mining engineer and, by the nature of their activities, were especially interested in natural material- plaster. Having studied its properties, they decided to use them in order to speed up, reduce the cost and improve the quality of some construction processes.

The implementation of their project fell on the time of the economic crisis. As if time itself helped the future tycoons of the construction industry. In 1932 they founded Reinische Gipsindustri und Bergwerxunternemen.

By collecting Required documents and having received an indulgence to develop a gypsum mine in Schengen, the brothers opened a plant in the city of Perl. There they began to produce dry mortars based on natural gypsum for plastering surfaces.

In 1949, in the city of Iphofen, which is located in Northern Bavaria, the Knaufs established a plant for the production building mixtures based on gypsum. The headquarters of Knauf is also located here. In 1958, they opened the first plant to produce drywall sheets.

During the German economic boom, the company developed rapidly and from a relatively small enterprise turned into a family with subsidiaries around the world. In 1993 they start their activities in Russia. A lot of enterprises, equipped with modern equipment where a single production technology and quality standard are used.

Knauf products

But Knauf does not rest on its laurels, the company develops new projects, offers the consumer:

  • palette of related products. The assortment is expanding due to specialized tools, metal profiles, development of new materials;
  • building mixtures not only based on gypsum, but also other innovative compositions;
  • special courses are held where theoretical training is carried out. Those wishing to acquire practical skills in construction and design.

Knauf enterprises produce high-quality finishing materials:

  • gypsum fiber sheets;
  • tongue-and-groove gypsum boards;
  • dry gypsum and cement mixtures;
  • primers, other compositions for interior finishing, ready for quick use;
  • construction chemistry;
  • metal profiles;
  • drywall sheets.

We will dwell on the last two groups of products and tell you what drywall and Knauf profiles are, about production characteristics, dimensions and installation.

Varieties of Knauf drywall

The products manufactured by this manufacturer are used to perform work on interior decoration"Dry" method. It is practical and fast. Drywall sheet is classified by properties:

  • ordinary, some builders also call it standard,
  • moisture resistant,
  • refractory.

Plasterboard

A sheet of ordinary (standard) drywall is used in rooms where natural temperature conditions and normal humidity... They can be veneered interior walls residential premises, offices, enterprises.

Standard sheets differ in appearance from other types in color scheme- have grey colour and blue markings. They are not expensive and are used much more frequently than others.

Having studied its characteristics, we talked about them in detail in the article "", we can state that such a sheet:

  • not dangerous to people and environment;
  • helps to radically change the space and interior of the room. With the help of such a sheet, a partition, an arch, a fireplace are quickly erected;
  • it is perfectly revetted with any finishing materials: plaster, tiles, wallpaper, paint, stone;
  • it is easy to cut and takes the required configuration.

When you plan to make repairs in your home and change the contours of its premises, you can use the Knauf drywall sheets below for the walls:

Moisture resistant gypsum board

Sheets of moisture resistant drywall should be used where it is intended high humidity or the room is poorly ventilated. The technical characteristics of the sheet make it possible to install additional partitions, ennoble the walls:

  • in the shower, bathroom;
  • in pools and saunas;
  • in toilets;
  • in sanitary facilities.

For these works, it is better to use the Knauf sheets shown in the table below:

The color of the leaf is green and has blue markings.

Fire-resistant gypsum plasterboard sheets are used where there is an elevated temperature and it is necessary to strictly observe the measures for fire safety... Specifications named finishing material say that they can:

  • cladding the walls of wooden buildings;
  • to carry out installation in home boilers, furnaces, sanitary facilities of enterprises;
  • ennoble fireplaces;
  • sheathe the walls of the evacuation exits.

For these purposes, Knauf offers the following sheets:

It differs from other types of GKLO pink and red markings.

Now that you know what types of drywall there are, its dimensions, specifications, insignia, you can proceed to the next section and find out how the sheets are mounted to a vertical surface.

Elements of the metal frame

All metal profiles at Knauf factories are manufactured according to the conditions TU 1121-012-04001508-2011... These are elements of a certain length, made of steel strip by the method of cold rolling on modern roll forming machines. They are covered with a galvanized coating to protect against aggressive environmental influences.

With the help of such structures, a frame for cladding is assembled, it is they who serve as a rigid base, on which gypsum plasterboards are then laid.

The profiles have a standard length: 2750, 3000, 4000, 4500 mm. But at the request and agreement with the customer, their height can vary from 500 to 6000 mm.

Cutting and assembly work metal products are made using specialized tools such as electric shears, cutters, hacksaw for metal or other devices.

The frame requires the following structures:

  • rack profile. By outward appearance similar to the letter "C" and acts as the vertical racks of the future frame. It is assembled together with a guide rail. You can learn about its geometric dimensions from the article "";
  • guide profile. This item is a U-shaped. In the frame, it functions as a guide for the rack profile and serves for the installation of jumpers.
  • ceiling guide profile. It has the shape of the letter P. It is needed in the frame as a guide for ceiling profile and for mounting a lintel over the opening;
  • ceiling profile. It is presented in the form of a C-shaped long-length part, it serves as a vertical frame of the frame. To mount it to the wall, a straight hanger is used, which can be fixed with screws;
  • screws and dowels are used as fasteners, which are described in detail in the article "";

Installation of gypsum board on walls using Knauf technology

Knauf brand gypsum plasterboards are quite popular on construction market Russian material. The technology of their installation has a significant advantage over other facing building materials.

The absence of so-called wet processes during operation significantly reduces the time, installation becomes easier. With minimal labor and money costs, a perfectly flat surface is achieved.

The designers had a unique opportunity to realize their most daring projects. And the technology of stacking sheets is so simple that a person who is far from construction can do it.

It is worth remembering that installation work should be carried out under normal humidity and temperature conditions.

Methods for installing drywall on walls

You need to know that GCR can be installed in two ways, each of them has its own technical differences:

  • frameless method. In this version, the sheet is simply glued to the base. But you should know that the area to be treated must be very even and always clean;
  • using a frame. It can be presented in the form of a structure made of lumber and metal. Wooden one will cost a little less, but it is not so easy to use and not durable. But the metal set of Knauf profiles is widely known and popular among professionals and amateurs. All parts are produced at the drywall manufacturing plant and have a relatively low price.

We will dwell on this technique in more detail, reveal its technical aspects and give recommendations from the manufacturer.

According to Knauf technology, the whole process should include the following stages:

  1. Frame preparation;
  2. Installing it;
  3. Sheathing of the frame with sheets;

Installation work should begin before the installation of a clean floor, provided that the wiring of sanitary, technical and electrical systems. Temperature regime not less than +10 ° С and the humidity should be normal, this is mandatory requirements according to SNiP 23-02-2003... If winter time- the building must be heated.

This technology makes it possible to insulate a room without problems, improve sound insulation in it, lay and hide communications, create various structural elements.

Required tools for installation

Each specialist has a certain minimum of tools and devices. We recommend you standard set, which you cannot do without:

  • building level, plumb line, hydro level;
  • screwdriver, puncher;
  • scissors for metal, electric shears, grinder;
  • assembly knife;
  • simple pencil;
  • roulette;
  • a thread;
  • sealing tape.

Installation of a metal frame on the walls

This profile is more durable and reliable. All its varieties are produced in industrial enterprises Knauf and meet the standards. The installation process undergoes quality control at all stages of work: first after installing the frame, then after laying the drywall, then - the arrangement of joints and seams.

  1. Let's carry out the markings on the floor surface, and then transfer it to the ceiling and walls. In order to make the installation error-free, experts recommend marking the attachment points of the rack-mount profiles, the type and thickness of the gypsum board.
  2. On rack and guide profiles adjacent to the enclosing structural elements, you need to stick sealing tape either apply special composition sealant. Install the guide profiles according to the markings and then screw them to the horizontal surfaces of the floor and ceiling. The step should not exceed 1000 mm, and there should be at least 3 fasteners per profile.
  3. According to the marking marks, fix the straight hangers to the wall using the appropriate dowels. Step no more than 1500 mm. To weaken the “sound bridges”, insert sealing tape between them.
  4. Install the profiles in the guides and fix them with screws. Interfering ends of the hangers should be bent or cut off.

Plasterboard laying on a metal frame

This technology is as follows:

  1. We start working from the corner with a step for screws of 250 mm. They should be no closer than 15 mm from the edge of the transverse end, and 10 mm from the longitudinal end. If you have a double skinning of the surface, it is allowed to increase the step by 3 times. It is better to start from the corner of the big wall premises.
  2. Plasterboard on the walls is laid in the vertical direction and in whole sheets. Small fragments are filled in later. If there is a difference between the heights of the wall and the gypsum board, and the latter is less than the first, then segments of the guide profile are added to the horizontal joints and then the gypsum board is sheathed.

Docking of sheets is done in a staggered manner. Avoid joints at window pillars or where a drywall doorway is. As a result, a crack will necessarily appear in this place. It is better to pre-install the intermediate profile and additionally fix the sheet.

The caps of self-tapping screws or screws should be well sunk into the surface by 1 mm or more. After puttying, there will be no grooves on the surface.

Moments that must not be forgotten when installing gypsum board on walls

Do not forget to leave a gap of 10-15 mm in height between the gypsum board and the floor, and 5 mm in the abutment to the ceiling. Subsequently, it will be closed with a putty solution and will be glued with a separating tape, the edges of which will then be carefully cut off.

The outer mating corners can be reinforced with a protective perforated corner. finishing it will completely fill up.

Where the sheet is mated with door or window frames, decorate its edges with decorative platbands when you make the finishing.

For moisture-resistant plasterboard sheets, screws with a sharper cone head are used. The step is not more than 300 mm.

If there is a need to hang a hundred either on the wall, then know that with a weight of no more than 10-15 kg per 1 running meter wall surface, it can be fixed using special anchor bolts for gypsum board or dowels for gypsum board anywhere. It may not be heavy openwork shelves, cornices, paintings, sconces or others. lighting... But if you plan to operate kitchen cabinets, then additional embedded parts must be installed in the places of future fastening. Specialists should take care of this during the installation of the metal frame.

As soon as your walls have received a new outfit, you should start puttingty, processing the joints and places where the caps of the screws are located.
But we will talk about this in the article, which will be called ";".

Notes:
1. Values in brackets are given for the case when the height of the partition exceeds the length drywall sheet .
2. * Depending on the type of sheet, packaging, etc.
3. ** Not required in case of joining profiles with a special tool using the "cut-and-bend" method.

1. After marking, cutting gypsum fiber sheet produce on a flat, hard surface with a knife for cutting gypsum fiber board. Along the marking line, using a metal ruler or a rail as a guide, draw a knife several times with effort until an incision is formed, which guarantees a subsequent break along the marking.

2. Place the cut sheet on the edge of the table, and then, by breaking, separate the parts of the sheet from each other.

3. The homogeneous, rather dense structure of the gypsum fiber sheet allows high-quality cutting with a hacksaw or jigsaw.

4. If the trimmed edge of the gypsum fiber sheet forms in the structure partitions, cladding or ceiling outer corner that does not require protection corner profile, it is processed with a roughing plane.

Installing the frame

1. Mark position partitions and doorways on the floor using a tape measure, meter and cord breaker. Using a plumb line, transfer the markings to ceiling... The production of this operation greatly facilitates the use of a special laser device.

2. After cutting to guide profiles (PN), intended for installation on the floor and ceiling, as well as on the rack profiles (PS) adjacent to the walls, glue a sealing tape, which serves to improve the parameters partitions for sound insulation.

3. According to the markings, fix the guide profiles to the floor and ceiling with dowels (in case wooden structures - screws). Install the fasteners in increments of no more than 1 m. Install and fix in the same way the extreme post profiles adjacent to the walls.

4. Install the rack profiles into the rails with a step of about 603 mm and set them vertically. Do not mount in guides. When cutting, it must be borne in mind that the length of the rack should be 10 mm less than the actual height of the room.

5. If necessary (for example, building up), fasten the rack profiles with screws LN 9... Make the connection with an overlap of at least 10h, where h is the height of the profile back in mm.
For PS 50 overlap -> 500 mm,
PS 75 -> 750 mm,
PS 100 -> 100 mm.

Drywall is used to create arches, various decor premises, partitions, recesses in the wall, etc. Creation of beautiful decorative elements will not do without a solid support, which are Knauf partitions. What is the Knauf partition? In fact, it looks like plasterboard construction, in which the frame consists entirely of a metal profile. The design is created using a special technology that excludes various unforeseen circumstances.

Partitions Knauf may be different. They are installed in different premises, with different sound insulation, for different purposes. Partitions can be different types and are divided according to certain parameters.

By their design, partitions are divided into:

  • Partitions with one skin layer;
  • Partitions with two layers of cladding;
  • Partitions with three layers of cladding;
  • Partitions with one layer of sheathing, consisting of moisture-resistant Knauf super-sheets on a single-type frame.

In addition to these types, there are partitions where special channels for ventilation and communication are built in. Next parameter, according to which the partitions are divided - this is a frame, or rather its type. Frames can be double or single.

The use of partitions based on a double frame is recommended if you need to create a strong secure wall that will withstand the heavy.

The creation of partitions with single frames is recommended in those places where sound insulation is not so important, and the walls will not be burdened with heavy pieces of furniture or appliances. It can be concluded that the double frame is more durable.

Knauf drywall partitions: the main advantages

Why is drywall and Knauf partitions so popular? Since the 90s, drywall has been almost synonymous with the word renovation. On Russian market this material appeared thanks to the Knauf firm. The material was accompanied by instructions that detailed how to create various designs from plasterboard sheets. The technology has gained great popularity due to the excellent quality of the goods.

The main advantages of partitions made of drywall Knauf are as follows:

  • Installation of partitions can be carried out independently without the involvement of specialists; detailed instructions are included in the product;
  • It is very easy to calculate the required amount of material and its cost;
  • Each kit has the required number of parts, it is impossible to forget something;
  • The kit will provide a quick and easy process for creating a partition;
  • Knauf material is very durable, so that the partition can withstand even an earthquake.

The use of Knauf partitions is popular to this day. The correct selection of a set of partitions can provide excellent sound insulation, high strength and reliability of the walls. As mentioned above, there are different strengths and sound insulation, depending on the type of room, a suitable kit should be selected.

Knauf plasterboard partitions installation technology

The Knauf installation technology is not much different from the standard installation procedure. However, there are still some differences, they will be discussed below. Together with the drywall material, Knauf brought a special technology and general recommendations for the installation of partitions.

They look like this:

  1. Each baffle kit has top and bottom rails and posts. These racks can have different widths, which depend on the height of the room where the installation is supposed to be, as well as on the weight of the overall structure.
  2. To attach the guides, it is recommended to use dowels, it is necessary to fix at least 3 points.
  3. To install rack profiles, a distance of 600 mm should be observed, in some cases the distance can be reduced.
  4. To fix the racks, use the "punching with bend" method, it is allowed to use special self-tapping screws from Knauf.
  5. To attach a device to false ceiling, the fire resistance class must be observed.
  6. For soundproofing, you can use mineral wool.
  7. For installation of sheets, use the "butt-joint" method, that is, lay them without a gap.

In addition to the above recommendations, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of installing the frame. In order for the entire system to serve for a long time, you need to ensure that the joints from the GKL-partition above the door opening are not located on the racks attached to the box. Instructions for assembling the frame for fixing the gypsum board in our material:.

In addition, the seam must be made so that it is in that part of the intermediate rail, which is located above the horizontal beam. The horizontal beam serves as the top border. Compliance with these recommendations will help you make a long-lasting quality design.

Quality partitions made of gypsum plasterboard according to the Knauf system: what will affect the choice of the kit

Exists Various types partitions that are suitable for different room parameters. At the moment, there are about 25 sets for the installation of partitions according to the Knauf system on sale. All sets are marked with the letter "C", which is combined with a specific set number.

To select the correct mounting kit, consider the following factors:

  • The height of the room or room;
  • Desired noise level;
  • Possible load on the wall in the form of furniture or appliances;
  • Availability of communication systems;
  • Door type or lack thereof;
  • Desired partition height;
  • Room temperature and humidity level;
  • The type of room and its purpose (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room).

Having decided on the parameters of the room, it will be much easier for you to choose a partition. For example, a bedroom adjacent to a kitchen or living room requires a high degree of sound insulation, so the appropriate installation kit should be chosen. If the bedroom is adjacent to the wall of the neighboring apartment, then the more the partition should be with a high degree of protection against unwanted noise.

Modern technology Knauf and drywall: walls and partitions (video)

Plasterboard partitions Knauf - worthy and reliable way to erect the wall in the desired location. Simplicity and ease of use, installation will help make the installation process easy and enjoyable. With this technology, the issue of unnecessary noise will be closed for you forever.

Dry construction refers to the design and construction of lungs frame sheathing structures, during the installation of which a minimum of funds and physical efforts are spent. The German company KNAUF produces high-quality materials necessary for such work and is a kind of legislator that defines the standards for this type of activity. The Knauf system for drywall partitions is known to any professional builder. Now it is our turn to get acquainted with these constructions in more detail.

Series of partitions (according to the Knauf classification)

The company's specialists classify all frame sheathing partitions into several standard types:

Horizontal sectional view Construction type
С 111 - a frame made of a steel profile, sheathed with 1 layer of drywall sheets.
С 112 - the steel frame is sheathed with gypsum board sheets in 2 layers.
С 113 - "single" frame made of steel profile sheathed with a three-layer coating of gypsum plasterboard.
C 115 - KNAUF partitions of this series have a double metal frame and 2 layers of sheathing made of gypsum plasterboard sheets.
C 116 - double steel frame with space for communications. The structure is sheathed with 2 layers of plasterboard on each side.
С 118 - "Protection against penetration". The frame made of steel profiles is sheathed with gypsum board in 3 layers. Galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.5 mm is laid between the sheets.
С 121 - partition frame made of timber sheathed with 1 layer of plasterboard.
C 122 - wooden frame with a two-layer plasterboard coating.

For the outer coating of frame structures, Knauf produces a durable high-tech material based on gypsum, which does not contain toxic substances, is absolutely non-combustible and has excellent performance properties. Gypsum board is produced in the form of KNAUF sheets (GKL) - rectangular elements consisting of a reinforced gypsum "core" covered with specially treated cardboard.

Depending on the field of application, these sheets have different properties and are subdivided into types:

  • GKL - used in rooms with normal humidity.
  • GKLO - has increased fire resistance. The material is used for cladding partitions from a profile installed in fire-hazardous premises.
  • GKLV is a moisture resistant material. Its cardboard cover is impregnated with a special composition.
  • GKLVO - combines the properties of moisture and fire resistance.

In addition to this classification, Knauf sheets have differences in the type of side edge. All material features are marked with markings that are applied to each sheet.

Partition frame features

Next building blocks The frame-sheathing structures of the Knauf system are metal profiles - strips of galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.5–0.8 mm. These products add strength to the frame without adding weight to the overall weight. Consider what kind of profile is needed for a plasterboard partition, which will be made according to the Knauf system:

Tools and fasteners

The design features of Knauf systems imply strict adherence to all manufacturer's recommendations regarding their installation. The company's specialists pay great attention to the characteristics and quality of the fastening material, which is used when assembling the frame partitions of their drywall.

To connect the profile to each other, it is recommended to use screws (self-tapping screws) for metal LN 9 and LB 9 (piercing and drilling). For fastening Knauf sheets, self-tapping screws such as TN and TB are used with a length of 2.5–4 mm. The guide profile is fixed to the ceilings with simple or anchor dowels of 4, 6, 8 or 12 mm.

1 - LN screw; 2 - LB screw; 3 - TN screw; 4 - TB screw

The design of the KNAUF system plasterboard partition is very simple, and for its installation it is enough simple tool, which is in any "home" set:

  1. Roulette, level, plumb line - for marking.
  2. Perforator - holes for dowels, securing the guide profile.
  3. Screwdriver - installation of the frame and fastening the sheathing.
  4. Shears for metal - cutting a profile to size.
  5. Construction knife - cutting drywall.

Installation steps

Knauf specialists have developed phased technology installation of plasterboard systems, implying a strict sequence of all work. So let's consider short instruction for the installation of plasterboard partitions:

  • Markup. We mark with a dyeing cord straight line on the floor and then using a plumb line or laser level, we transfer this mark to the adjacent walls and ceiling.
  • Installation of the frame of the partition from the profile. To the floor and ceiling, with dowels (after 80–100 cm), we fasten the PN profile. It must be attached to the ceilings by laying a sealing material. In the PN we install and fix the rack-mount profile. The maximum distance between the uprights should not exceed 600 mm.
  • Equipment installation. V frame structure we install embedded elements (supports for cabinets, shelves, lamps, etc.). We install electrical wiring and all the necessary communications.
  • Frame cladding. On one side of the frame for a plasterboard partition, we mount sheets, fixing them with self-tapping screws every 250 mm.
  • Installation of soundproofing. Between the racks (as tightly as possible) we lay soundproof material.
  • Full cladding. We fix the gypsum board on the remaining side of the frame. If the type of partition provides for a multilayer coating, each layer of sheets must be installed, shifting it 600 mm from the previous one.
  • Finishing. After finishing the lining of the frame, you need to putty the seams between the sheets and the caps of the fastening screws. Plasterboard must be primed for the final decorative finish.

This short review plasterboard systems developed by the famous a German company Knauf is a kind of instruction that must be followed when installing partitions. Additional questions that arise during your work will be carefully considered by our experienced specialists. Do not hesitate, we will give you an answer that will provide a "pleasant" result in such a difficult task as home renovation.

Today, drywall is the most popular material for finishing partitions, decorative installations, niches and arches in rooms. But it is worth noting that these structures need solid support. Wooden or profile frames are used.

PPR Knauf is in the greatest demand today. The frame of such a base is exclusively metal, and the installation itself is made of plasterboard sheets. But manufacturing and installation requires adherence to certain rules in order for the structure to be integral and reliable.

Material for thermal and sound insulation

Knauf technology - installation plasterboard partitions- involves the use of practical and quality materials: profiles, drywall sheets, screws, cutters and fillers.

Installation of partitions PPR gives good results, because at the junction of the rack and guides, irregularities and protrusions are not formed. This provides additional savings as there is no extra costs for finishing mixtures.

The installation of Knauf drywall sheets is a mandatory use of moisture-resistant materials. It is important for the manufacturer to indicate the moisture-resistant PPR values on the packaging. there are five standard sizes in the range of this kind of products, which speeds up the construction of plasterboard installations. If it is planned to strengthen heat and sound insulation in the room, then builders recommend using mineral wool.

It is worth noting that Knauf fasteners and hardware products are made of a durable type of plastic, and metal parts are treated against corrosion.

Characteristics of Knauf products

The standard set of metal profiles includes prefabricated parts for framing (rails, structural parts, and rack parts). The length of the profiles is 3-4 meters. If the length of the frame is not enough, then it is increased without problems, it is only necessary to take into account the unified dimensions of the sides of the profile. The elongation is performed using the overlapping method. But the masters claim that its length should not exceed the height of the side profile side.

Partition mounting technology

If this connection is equipped with additional elements, then the overlap is also twice as long. For the installation of such profiles, self-tapping screws are used, holes for which are made along four edges and two in the middle. It is imperative to glue the liner tape on outside profile. This foam tape insulates the joints.

The distance between fasteners depends on the structure of the frame, but cannot be more than one meter. Professionals recommend taking a step no more than 0.3 meters. The structure is fixed with dowels and self-tapping screws.

Installation of Knauf partitions: advantages

The products of this company are distinguished by durable service and high quality, therefore, the installation of such partitions must be carried out at the proper level. ... There are several rules that it is recommended to adhere to in order to achieve excellent construction results:

  1. The outer part of the profile is completely pasted over with thermal insulation tape before fixing the PPR sheets. If the profiles are frozen, the moisture from the condensation will not reach the walls.
  2. If you do not plan to hang anything heavy on the wall, a sufficient step of the profiles is 60 centimeters. Otherwise, this distance is reduced.

Partition PPR, reinforced according to the described technology
  1. The construction of Knauf plasterboard partitions is provided only on solid walls. To achieve this result, they work exclusively with a double profile (one profile is inserted into another, overlapping about ten percent of the product's width).
  2. Docking of long plasterboard sheets is performed in a checkerboard pattern to achieve the most aesthetic appearance of the walls, so that finished structure did not vibrate and did not deform over time.
  3. For a good connection of parts to each other according to the rules of this technology, it is necessary to work with a cutter or Knauf screws.

Installation of plasterboard partitions, their types, insulation and sound insulation

There are several types of partitions, depending on how much sheathing is present on the product:

  • Partitions with single layer sheathing;
  • In two or three layers;
  • Combined cladding: two-layer on both sides of the product;
  • Three-layer cladding: moisture resistant sheets with intermediate steel sheets.

Single-type partition, two-layer

If constructions are installed simple type, then Additional materials Not needed. But if you wish, the gap between the wall and the frame can be filled with a special material with soundproofing or insulating properties.

Master class from the manufacturer:

Masters claims that the pricing policy of such materials is not at all an indicator of their quality. To get an excellent soundproof material, it is enough to use egg boxes in the work, and the heat in the room will best help to keep mineral wool... Just like a heater, a foil base protrudes, which, on the one hand, perfectly retains heat, and on the other hand, repels it.

- this is ready-made solution from drywall and insulation, coming together with fasteners. They are easy to install and are renowned for their high quality and fire-fighting properties.
