Types of electric heating of a private house. Review of the most economical way to heat a house with electricity

There are many types of heating. One of them is heating with electricity. In this case, electrical energy is taken as the main energy converted into heat. Moreover, the transformation is carried out in several ways. Let's dwell on them in more detail.

There are five main types of heating based on the use of electrical energy... The sixth type is the generation and use of its own electricity for its own needs different methods- a topic for a separate conversation, so we will not consider it in this article.

The main types of electric heating

  1. Electric boilers with a heating circuit.
  2. Heating electric convectors.
  3. System electric underfloor heating.
  4. Fan heaters, electrical heat guns(curtains) and oil coolers (heaters).

Let's say right away that almost all electric heating systems are considered expensive to operate. This is due to at the cost of electrical energy. Is it possible to be heated with electricity along with other types of fuel and not overpay? Below we will try to figure it out by considering the features of each type of electric heating.

The principle of operation, the pros and cons of each type

Electric boilers operate on the principle of heating a liquid in an external heating circuit connected to them.

They are of two types:

  • boilers with installed heaters - heating elements;
  • electrode boilers.

Everyone knows the usual heating elements. Such heaters are installed in the body of the electric boiler, where they heat running water... As the water heats up, it circulates even more strongly in the system. Circulation pumps are almost always installed - for better pressure and water circulation. Usually, manufacturers install in one boiler 3-4 heating elements. Depending on the mode, they are turned on one by one, in groups or all together. The power range of most of the manufactured boilers is from 3 to 50 kW. There are models that operate on a single-phase (220 V) and three-phase (380 V) network. As a rule, more powerful boilers are connected to a 3-phase network.

The electrode boiler differs in that electricity passes from one electrode to another directly through the liquid, which as a result heats up. Usually, not water is used as a liquid, but a special non-freezing liquid or antifreeze a certain brand. From domestic manufacturers, electrode boilers of the Galan brand are widely used. The capacities of boilers of this type are - from 5 to 25 kW.

The advantages of all electric boilers are as follows:

  • small overall dimensions;
  • ease of installation and control (pushbutton switches or electronic unit);
  • accurate and fast temperature control;
  • the ability to connect external room temperature sensors;
  • silent work;
  • relatively low cost of boilers;
  • environmentally friendly (as a result of which a chimney is not needed);
  • high efficiency.

The disadvantages include the following:

  • quite large electricity bills in heating season(the cost of electricity makes itself felt);
  • for heating boilers, over time (after several years), the heating element - TEN is covered with deposits, scale, and, sooner or later, fails;
  • also heating boilers in the absence of water (or a small amount of it) in the circuit fail - heating elements burn out;
  • most boilers require good wiring calculated according to the power of the boiler with a margin for other needs;
  • as a result of incorrect calculations or savings, often electrical boilers cannot cope with the load- they cannot fully provide the house with heat, not to mention water for household needs;
  • boilers do not heat up the house immediately, but with some (small) delay;
  • the operation of all electric boilers directly depends on the voltage and power of the electrical network, and electrode boilers, in addition, change their power depending on the composition and temperature of the liquid in the heating system.

The heating element is used as a working element. Only here it is not installed in water, but is enclosed in a ceramic insulator and a beautiful safe housing made of aluminum or steel. In other words, heating comes from the warm body of the device and the air inside it. The heated air begins to rise up, giving way to colder air, circulation and heating of air in the room begins.

  • floor;
  • wall- flat rectangles of different sizes;
  • may be built-in or external;
  • inside always built-in thermostat(or electronic control unit) that maintains the desired temperature.

Such devices can be installed anywhere. They are pretty warm up rooms quickly, of course, if their number and power are accurately calculated. Virtually no control required: the thermostat will maintain the selected mode. Modern models do not dry the air, their body is reliably isolated from the heating element, so that the body parts do not heat up more than 60 degrees and the device can be used in humid rooms.

The disadvantages include low power one convector - you will need them to heat the building a large number of... The wiring must withstand the total power of all convectors (usually the power of one device is from 1 to 3 kW).

They have become popular recently. Their principle is to convert electricity into infrared rays (quartz emitter), which, in turn heat any objects located only on their way.

Structurally, the following can be performed:

Heaters power different models ranges from 0.25 to 3-4 kW. Usually there is a step power regulator.

Such heaters can heat up the air quickly in a specific area. This is their plus and minus. To fully heat the room, you will need a lot of them. For normal heating of the room, there are systems of infrared warm floors or walls. Of course, they are more economical than other types. electric heating, but the total costs of all heaters are still quite high.

Profitability infrared heaters due to the fact that they can be directed only to the required heating areas. At the same time, in one room it is possible to make zones with different temperature conditions. In addition, if a person is in the area of the heater's rays, he himself will warm up a little (although the air will not be so hot), and will subjectively feel more comfortable. Such devices more economical than electric boilers by 20-35%.

Represents thin conductors current built into the floor.

Structurally performed:

  • cable, laid on the desired areas of the floor (waves, zigzags, stripes)
  • as films with applied conductor (by type printed circuit boards radio equipment).

The conductor is always made of certain materials, for the current it presents a great resistance. So heats up during the passage of current. As a result, the floor itself heats up, then giving off heat to the air in the room.

Long gone are the days when a wood-burning stove was the only way to heat a private house. Modern technologies and materials allow you to choose a heating method from a variety of existing ones, but experts unanimously argue that in the future it is the electric heating of a private house that will be a priority. Everyone knows that the reserves of minerals are far from endless and the time will come when gas will have to be completely abandoned and switched to a cleaner energy source - electricity.

Electrical heating systems have a mass undeniable advantages, and often it can be just the only one affordable way heating.

It is very important to think over an electric heating project even at the stage of building a house, since in the future, installing equipment in an already finished room may lead to the need for rework, and, as a result, to additional costs. An accurate thermal calculation must be done taking into account the norms of SNiP. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in increased energy costs.

Pros and cons of heating a house with electricity

Electric heating of a private house has the following advantages:

Simplicity and ease of installation

For self-assembly no expensive tools and special knowledge are required. All equipment is small in size, can be installed quickly and at minimal cost.

All devices are easily transported and carried in different rooms... A separate boiler room and chimney are also not required.

Safety

Electrical systems do not form carbon monoxide gases, there are no combustion products at all. No harmful emissions are emitted even if the system breaks down or is disassembled.

Low initial costs

There is no need to prepare project documentation with an invitation special services... None permits Not needed.

Reliability and noiselessness

Electric heating does not need regular service with the involvement of specialists. All units operate absolutely silently, as there is no fan and circulation pump in the system.

Ease of operation

There are no elements in the system that could quickly fail. There is no need to constantly monitor the sensors and fuel level.

System control unit.

High level of efficiency

Allows you to quickly warm up private house even in the most very coldy... Electric heating is always equipped with a special system, which makes it possible to regulate the temperature in each separate room, which can significantly save financial costs during the heating season.

Cons of work

The main disadvantage of electric heating is considered to be high power consumption. In some areas, the price of energy is quite high, so this method may simply be unprofitable.

The second drawback is considered to be volatility. If the electricity is cut off for any reason, heating of the room will become impossible.

Using a generator.

Have you decided to heat your house with electricity? It is necessary to take into account the condition and power of the wiring. A large private house may need a three-phase power grid. You will need to find out exactly how much power is allocated to the house and how much of the allocated power can be used for heating.

Electric heating options for a private house

Currently on construction market presented a variety of heating devices powered by electricity. Electric heating can work both directly and with the help of a circulating heat carrier - antifreeze, oil or water.

Oil radiators

This type of heating has been known for a very long time, and it still retains its popularity. These are mobile units, often on wheels, that work directly from electrical outlet... The efficiency of such devices is 100%, since electrical energy is converted into thermal energy directly, without any transmitting devices.

Via oil cooler can be heated small room, but for the whole house, of course, this method will not work.

It is quite popular and effective method heating, capable of maintaining an optimal balance of humidity in the room, without burning oxygen. Excellent specifications and a wide range of capacities allows the use of electric convectors for heating both a small room and a large private house.

The basis of the convector is ten - a converter of electrical energy into heat. The principle of operation is based on air convection. Cold air enters through the slots in the lower part of the heating device body, inside the device the air is heated from the heating element and exits through the slots in the upper part of the body.

The heating electric convector itself is enclosed in a metal casing, which has an aesthetic appearance and fits easily into any interior. The convector can be floor-standing, but most often the choice is made in favor of wall device... The convector can work both separately and in the system, under the control of one temperature controller.

Air conditioners operating in heating mode can also be classified as electric heating devices. Experts believe that such heating is the most economical, since the cost of electricity is fully covered by the generated heat. In addition, costs can be reduced by adjusting.

But this type of heating has many disadvantages, and the most important of them is the technical complexity of maintenance. In addition, air conditioners have an initial high cost, and in the event of a breakdown, calling a specialist will bring additional financial costs.

Infrared heating

Infrared (film) heating can be called an innovative, but confidently gaining popularity way of heating a private house. Such heating is quite economical in the process of use, but expensive in terms of the cost of equipment and installation.

Operating principle infrared heating is as follows: the heat emanating from the heating element, with the help of the heater, is uniformly radiated on the surface of nearby objects, and they, in turn, give off heat to the air.

Infrared heaters consume little energy and avoid irrational temperature distribution, since both zone and spot heating can be performed. After turning off the equipment, objects retain and give off heat for a long time. Installation and dismantling of equipment is very simple and easy to do yourself.

The location of the heaters is limited only by imagination. They can be located on the floor, behind a hanger, on the ceiling, but not at the level of a person's head.

Remember that IR emitters heat solid objects.

Underfloor heating system

Such a system can serve as both the main type of heating and an additional one. The principle of the system is that the heat from the heated floor is evenly distributed to the ceiling. Heating sections consist of a single-core or double-core cable covered with a floor covering on top. The thermostat can be built-in, overhead or programmable.

The advantages of this method include long term service - up to 80 years, as well as ease of maintenance and environmental friendliness.

But the warm floor is unstable to mechanical damage, and the repair of such a system is accompanied by the dismantling of the floor covering, which leads to additional financial costs. In order to determine the location of cable damage, special equipment is required.

If you have basic knowledge and skills, the system “ warm house»It is quite possible to do it yourself.

Infrared floor heating

Heating a house with electricity using an infrared underfloor heating can be assessed as an economical and rather effective, but rarely used tool.

Infrared underfloor heating is not afraid of power surges and does not fail even with partial damage. The equipment can be arranged under any floor covering, except for parquet.

Infrared rays are capable of heating extremely solid objects, therefore, by heating the floor, the element itself does not heat up. The floor covering gives off its heat to the air, which, by convection, spreads throughout the room.

Having elementary skills in working with electricity, it will not be difficult to mount and connect such a floor with your own hands.

Heating by electric boiler

Electricity heating of a private house is most often carried out using electric boiler, in which the heat transfer fluid is heated. Stand electric boilers relatively cheap, do-it-yourself installation does not present any difficulties.

Electric boilers are divided into three types according to the heating method:

  • heating elements;
  • electrode;
  • induction.

A heating element electric boiler can be classified as a traditional one, in which the liquid is heated by all the usual heating elements. Teng heats up from electricity, gives off its heat to the coolant, which, in turn, carries it through the piping system to the radiators installed in the rooms.

System elements.

The boiler is easy to install, equipped with a thermostat capable of maintaining the set temperature. Power consumption can be adjusted by turning off a certain number of heating elements.

The disadvantages of a heating boiler include the accumulated scale on the heating element, which can quickly disable the boiler, especially if the water is hard. Therefore, sometimes you will have to use various means against lime.

Electrode boiler

An electrode electric boiler instead of a heating element is equipped with an electrode that acts on free ions in the water, resulting in heat. This design is unique in its safety, since it is completely immune to coolant leakage. In the absence of water, the device simply stops working.

This method of heating the coolant does not provoke limescale, but the electrodes tend to gradually deteriorate, and then they must be changed. In addition, only water can be used as a heat carrier - an antifreeze liquid cannot be used. The water itself must have resistivity a certain value, which is rather difficult to measure on your own.

The "insides" of an induction boiler.

An induction electric boiler consists of a radiator and a pipeline through which the coolant circulates. The emitter generates an electromagnetic field that interacts with the metal. Electricity creates vortex currents, which, in turn, transfer energy to the coolant. A heating element missing.

The induction boiler is easy to install and maintain, does not contain wear parts, scale forms in it in minimal quantities, is efficient for heating large rooms... The heat carrier can be oil, water or antifreeze.

It is not difficult to make an induction boiler with your own hands, and at a cost it will come out much cheaper than a purchased one.

A significant disadvantage can be considered a rather large size and a high price, in comparison with heating elements and electrode boilers... In addition, in the event of mechanical damage to the integrity of the circuit, the boiler will fail due to a dangerous increase in temperature. In this case, the device must be equipped with a sensor that turns off the boiler in the absence of water in it.

Conclusion

Almost all popular methods of heating a country house with electricity were considered. Each method has many advantages - this is the absence of the need for a fuel supply, environmental friendliness, safety, noiselessness and ease of operation. But given that electricity is not cheap at the moment, there is no need to expect a special economic effect. Therefore it is worth Special attention to devote to the insulation of a private house in order to reduce heat loss to a minimum.

Heating your home with electricity is efficient and convenient way securing comfortable stay in a private house, as well as the possibility of a significant reduction in utility bills. If previously electric heating systems were not fuel efficient, and that is why they were not popular in the market, today, with the improvement of technology, an increasing number of homeowners prefer such cheap home heating with electricity, which is both safe, efficient and easy to use. Let's talk in more detail about how to inexpensively heat a house with electricity.

Modern technologies of electric heating in comparison with gas and water systems are practical and economical ... When it comes to the benefits of heating a private house or apartment using electrical technology, the following can be noted:

Undoubtedly, the electrical heating systems of a private house cannot be called ideal, since they have there are certain disadvantages... So, for example, in some regions the cost of electricity will be so high that it is much easier and cheaper to heat a house with gas or solid fuel... And in old apartments, it is often difficult to use such electric heating, since it will be impossible to disconnect from the central heating.

V last years economical heating of a private house with electricity is becoming more and more in demand, and an increasing number of owners of private houses and modern apartments choose this technology, preferring it to gas and other methods of heating the house.

Varieties of heating systems

Today, there are several common varieties heating systems, which are suitable for a private house or apartment in a high-rise. Each of these technologies has its own specific advantages and disadvantages. Let's take a closer look at each of these popular today electric heating systems.

Electrically heated floor

Such technologies appeared in the middle of the last century and today they are successfully used both by residents of high-rise buildings and by owners of private houses. The only nuance of such heating at home is that the power of the system is often not enough to consider it as the main method of heating the house. The efficiency of using such structures of an electric underfloor heating will largely depend on compliance with the technology when laying the material, as well as the right choice floor coverings that must transfer heat well, performing efficient heating of the room.

Underfloor heating system will be fully controlled by the automation, receiving the necessary data from the room temperature sensors, turning the heating on and off at the command of the automation. This provides significant savings in electricity, increases the comfort of living in an apartment and a private house. Such underfloor heating is very popular in kitchens, bathrooms and in corridors where ceramic tiles or porcelain stoneware, which perfectly transfer heat, ensuring correct and efficient heating of the room.

Organization of economical heating

To the homeowner, if he wishes to ensure the maximum comfort of living in the house, it is necessary to approach the solution of the task in a comprehensive manner.

Self-contained solar-powered systems

In recent years, alternative energy technology has been developing by leaps and bounds. using solar panels , which generate electricity from light, which is used for the life support of the house, including for heating. A few years ago, such systems on solar panels seemed to us to be something from the category of fantasy, but today, with a significant increase in efficiency and a decrease in the cost of such equipment, such an economical way of heating a house is becoming more and more relevant and popular on the market.

There are many different low-cost electric home heating systems that use electricity generated by solar panels... Today, technology allows not only the optimal use of the resources obtained from sunlight, but also allows you to accumulate them, using them later to heat the room. Such a house, subject to the correct choice of power and the number of solar panels, will not require a connection to hot water supply, electricity and central heating.

The homeowner will need to properly plan the entire autonomous system for solar powered, determine the energy consumption in the future, select high-quality solar panels, batteries and other equipment that will be required to organize the life support of a private house. Such systems can still have a fairly high cost today, however, if we take into account the constant increase in electricity prices, then solar energy and systems autonomous heating quickly pay off, making the house completely independent of the presence or absence of available energy resources in the form of gas and electricity.

Such heating systems on solar panels are especially popular with owners of private houses who install the receiving equipment on the roof of the house, which allows them through the use of quality panels to completely cover all the needs of home ownership for heat due to solar energy. Experts note that it is precisely behind this technology and the use of solar panels and electrical systems heating is the future, since homeowners in this case get the opportunity to make significant savings and at the same time ensure the comfort of living in a private house, regardless of whether the building is connected to utilities.

Year-round comfortable conditions life cannot be ensured if you do not take care of heating your home. Home owners are experimenting with different systems choosing equipment with optimal parameters, they study what is included in the heating of a country house, options and prices. Recently, electric heating is gaining popularity, the most economical, without a boiler.

The general availability of such a system is due to the widespread use of electricity grids and the popularity of differentiated electricity billing. The installed special electric meter will allow you to competently dispose of the available resource.

Variety of electrical systems

The most economical electric heating of a private house is selected based on the options for its operation, as well as the cost of materials and consumables.

Warm electric floors - price from 800 rubles / sq.m

You can lay such an economical heating of a private house yourself. This approach will significantly reduce the cost of the result. Heaters in this situation are materials such as electric mats, heating cables, and infrared heat emitters. Some of them can be installed even without pouring a concrete screed over the heater. If the installation is carried out at the stage of building a house, then this approach will significantly reduce the cost of installing heaters. By applying the settings, the optimal output parameters are set, which will increase the efficiency of the system and extend the service life of economical electric heating of a private house.

When installing electric underfloor heating (cable, mats or infrared), special attention must be paid to thermal insulation to prevent heat loss.

For heating mats and infrared heaters, foil-clad heat-reflecting insulation is used, for cable - with a metallized substrate. It is forbidden to use foil covers in the cable system, this leads to a short circuit.

Heating boilers - price from 27,000 rubles.

Do not write them off completely. They can be powered by electrical heating systems. With their help, you can use hot water supply, since many of the models work on a two-circuit principle. Economical heating a private house with them can be achieved due to a high degree of reliability, increased productivity and efficiency. In addition, manufacturers take care of their cost-effectiveness. This indicator in some premium brands is already at an acceptable level. A preliminary calculation is made according to the power requirement. Thus, the required amount that will need to be spent on the boiler is determined. In addition, in the total cost of the piping - pipes, pump, etc.

Heat pumps - from € 1000

Determining by price which electric heating is the most economical without a boiler, you should pay attention to the use of heat pumps. They consume a small amount of electricity, and use air, water or soil for heat exchange (the option depends on the model of the device). Savings compared to gas appliances up to 50%. Due to the operation of such a pump, it is possible to convert 1 kW of electrical energy into 3-4 kW of thermal energy.

VIDEO: Heat pump in the house

The process takes place thanks to heat exchange with the selected medium. There is a special refrigerant inside the pump that extracts heat up to set temperature-15 / -20 0 С. When the air in the room warms up to 25 0 С, such pumps can automatically switch to the air conditioner operation mode.

Today it is the most progressive and economical source of home heating, in which natural energy is converted into heat. At the same time, it is also the most expensive installation method. If we recalculate the cost of installation and piping and the capacity of the equipment, such an installation will be able to pay for itself only in 5-7 years. With that in mind. that in houses they usually live much longer, this method has the right to exist.

Electric convectors and radiators - from 2500 rubles.

These devices are positioned as economical heating of a private house. Their design is based on the principle natural circulation warm air currents. A special heater is mounted inside them, which ensures the operation of the device at a low outlet temperature. Its operation is regulated using a reliable electronic thermostat.

Used in most cases as an auxiliary or temporary device that is not able to compensate for the lack of heat in spacious houses

Infrared heating systems - from 2000 rubles.

Systems that use infrared heating continue to win over their fans. They also use electricity to operate them. The advantage of such systems is quick warm-up and relatively low power consumption. The principle of operation is identical sunbeams, when not air is heated, but all solids located in the path of radiation. Thus, comfortable conditions in the room are created, and the air does not dry out. Such heaters work without a boiler and are capable of being in working order for a long time. The maximum temperature value is recorded at the closest distance from the IR heater. The further you move away from it, the cooler it gets.

The disadvantage of some models is the relatively high power of the devices.

Supporting procedures

Before you save on heating, you need to take care of additional measures to increase the temperature in the room. These include different ways insulation of the building. It is never too late to carry out work, therefore, it is allowed to protect the house from the effects of negative external factors both at the construction stage and after using it for a long period. According to statistics, a house that is not insulated with high quality loses up to 70% of thermal energy. Just think about it, 70% of the heat goes outside, and in fact you pay for it and generally a lot of money.

Thermal insulation works are carried out with the following zones:

  • foundation;
  • walls from the inside and outside;
  • roof and attic area;
  • floors and ceilings;
  • door and window openings.

Reliable thermal insulation will significantly reduce the consumption of electricity used for heating, as well as ensure the durability of the structure. At the same time, it will be possible to increase the sound insulation of the premises. It is advisable to use in the work proven material of well-known brands, which guarantee the provision of performance characteristics for several decades.

The use of automation in process control, in addition to relieving the owner of the home from the constant presence next to heating systems, will make it possible to rationally manage resources during the day. The devices will be able to set the selected algorithm according to which it is planned to turn on / off the heating or maintain it at a given value.

High-quality instruments must record the temperature parameter with a high degree of accuracy.

Particularly relevant is the function in which a reduced temperature value is maintained, for example, at a level of +17 0 C. This allows you not to overheat the room, not to dry out the air and not to waste energy. Such a regime is set during working days, when there is no one in the house.

In heating options for a country house, where the price is not decisive, a special device is used - a programmer. Such a sensor with automatic system takes care of economical consumption. It maintains the set temperature value, timely switching between operating modes. In addition to hardware control, it supports manual dialing and resetting of parameters.

VIDEO: One more original way heating a house without gas and electricity

Electric heating of a private house is one of the options for autonomous heating, if it is not possible to connect to the central gas supply network. There are a lot of such villages and settlements in Russia, so the owners of private households have to solve the problem of heating the house and providing it hot water... Today it is difficult to imagine a normal home without modern conveniences, so it will be necessary to select a sufficiently powerful heating boiler according to the advice of specialists.

How to choose heating equipment

It is often much easier to equip electric heating of a private house with your own hands than to install and maintain a gas heater in the future. For a gas oven, it is imperative to obtain permission from a specialized organization, and only after all the paperwork has been completed, it will be possible to lay pipes and connect to radiators. The electric boiler will not cause any bureaucratic hassle, and it can be delivered very quickly.

Economical electric heating of a private house is possible if you choose the right equipment for several parameters:

  • Electric boiler power. It depends on this whether he will be able to effectively heat all the premises of the house, as well as heat water for all points of draw-off.
  • For a normally insulated house with installed plastic windows number necessary heat is 1 kW per 10 sq. meters, but if the insulation is not enough, the heat loss will increase significantly. Before installing the electric boiler, it is advisable to carry out partial repairs by thoroughly insulating all surfaces.
  • Control type. Cheap boilers have a regulator for manual control, electronic devices are able to work for a long time without human intervention at all.
  • Automatic equipment is more expensive, but it will be doubly beneficial as it can be configured to operate in economy mode. Such a boiler will constantly maintain uniform heating in the house, and the rooms will have a comfortable temperature.

  • The presence or absence of a circulation pump. Modern models of double-circuit boilers can rightfully be called mini-boiler rooms: they are already built-in circulating pumps and expansion tanks to ensure optimal system performance.

How does an electric heating boiler work

An electric boiler works on the same principle as a solid fuel or gas equipment... Due to heating elements or induction installations, water is heated in a heat exchanger, through which it enters the heating batteries. There she cools by passing thermal energy air in the room, after which the cooled liquid is again sent to the boiler. The system can work for a very long time without failure, especially if you take care of regular preventive maintenance pipes and radiators.

How to create electric heating of a private house with your own hands: the circuits are easy to find on the network, but you need to know what laws the system will operate in order to prevent accidents or any malfunctions. The heating scheme includes the following main elements:

Electric boilers have one very serious drawback: they are completely dependent on the supply of electricity, and if it is turned off, the owner will not be able to change anything. In case of serious accidents on the power grids, the house can be left without heat for many days, so it is necessary to provide for the possibility of alternative heating.

It is quite possible to install an electric heating system on their own, this work usually takes a little time. It is necessary to choose a floor-standing or wall-mounted boiler of the equipment and familiarize yourself with the basic installation rules.

Wall-hung boilers must be installed on flat walls made of non-combustible material. If they need to be installed in wooden house, a sheet of non-combustible material is first fixed on the wall.

The floor-standing boiler must stand on a level surface, it must also be non-combustible. Before installation, you need to read the instructions and outline a plan for the location of future communications. The process of assembling the system itself can be divided into several stages:

For a cottage, a system with forced circulation and installation of a separate boiler: a single-circuit boiler will work for heating, and water will be heated in the boiler for water use.

Installation work can be carried out independently, but it is still better to use the advice of professionals in order to avoid mistakes in design and installation. This is especially true of work with electricity: if you have not done them before, it is better to entrust them to someone experienced in order to avoid tragic consequences. After assembling the system, a complete check and pressure test is carried out.

The heating system can be open and closed: the first option is more suitable for small house: expansion tank in this case it is not insulated or covered with a lid. Air bubbles come out through it so that the pipes do not form air locks... At closed systems on the contrary, the tank is completely sealed, and the system gets rid of excess air using a special valve.

What are combi boilers

Since electrical heating is expensive, an alternative solution can be used and a dual fuel boiler can be selected. For example, you can purchase electrical equipment that can also function as a gas water heater. Or you can pick up a solid fuel boiler that can also work with electricity for some time.

As long as there are no interruptions in gas supply, such a boiler will work properly according to the generally accepted scheme, but as soon as any problems arise, it will be possible to switch to another type of fuel and thereby provide the house with stable heating.

A combined boiler is more expensive than usual, but such costs will be quite justified: your house is guaranteed not to be left without heat, and even if one system fails, the second can immediately support it. At the same time, the temperature level will remain at the same values, and it will be comfortable to be in the room.
