Finnish steel radiators “PURMO. "Purmo" (heating radiators): specifications and reviews Practical Purmo Delta Bar

The manufacturer of heating devices of the Purmo brand, well-known not only in Finland, but also in Russia, manufactures panel steel radiators in accordance with international and European standards, including ISO 9001. Varieties of products allow you to equip heating in any premises of a residential and non-residential type, regardless of the type of wiring.

Finnish steel radiators Purmo Compact are in high demand among Russian consumers due to their reliability and convenience.

  • Purmo Compact C (with side connection).
  • Purmo Ventil Compact VKO (with side and bottom connection; with built-in thermostatic valve).
  • Purmo Hygiene P (side connection). There are no convection elements in the model.
  • Purmo Ventil Hygiene PV (with side and bottom connections, thermostat). There are no convection elements.
  • Purmo Planora Plan DF (with side and bottom connection).

Purmo Planora differs from other models, first of all, externally. The "Purmo Planora" radiator is painted with a special structural paint, thanks to which the smooth surface of the radiator acquires a spectacular texture reminiscent of an orange peel. The snow-white radiators RAL-9016 are especially beautiful.

Basic specifications and features

The side surfaces are protected by special safety elements, the upper surface is covered with a bar. Two bottom holes for connection at floor level and four on the side. All holes are threaded G 1/2 ″. The battery looks modern and even stylish somewhere.

Purmo Hygiene radiators are panel radiators without convection and safety elements, mainly intended for use in medical facilities, as well as Food Industry, and at other facilities with increased hygiene requirements... Side holes in each corner of the radiator with internal thread G1 / 2

All Purmo heating elements are made of 1.25 mm cold rolled steel, and only the Planora series has wall thicknesses up to 2 mm.

The metal parts of the device are painted using high technology cataphoresis of the second generation, electrostatic spraying.

This significantly improves corrosion resistance. At the final stage, the products are covered with snow-white epoxy enamel (according to the RAL-9016 scale), but on an individual order, you can paint a batch of goods in any shade.

During the manufacturing process, radiators are specially tested for tightness by creating a strong pressure in the system, up to 12 atmospheres. It is important that complete drainage of the coolant from the battery is excluded. During the operation of radiators, its losses should not exceed 10%. So, if you need to repair a limited section of the heating system, you should drain the water only from the segment being repaired, but not empty the entire system.

It is impossible to create an efficient heating system without quality radiators. It is on this element that fast and uniform heating of the room depends. Finnish Purmo radiators have all the technical characteristics necessary to create a comfortable microclimate in the house.

Purmo radiator range

Purmo products allow you to mount a heating system of any configuration. The company produces both tubular and panel radiators... In addition, the range includes heated towel rails, pipes, convectors and ventilation systems.

Purmo compact

This is a basic model of a panel radiator with a profiled surface and has 4 side holes with a ½ ”thread for heating pipes. Products of this model are marked as follows - 11, 12, 22, 33. The first marking value indicates the number of panels along which the coolant moves, the second - the number of rows of internal U-shaped ribs to improve the convection effect. Accordingly, the larger the designation, the more powerful the device will be, but in this case its depth also increases.

Purmo Compact batteries are designed for use in one and two-pipe heating systems closed type... Depending on the model, the length of the radiator can be from 40 cm to 3 m, and the height - from 30 cm to 90 cm. The permissible pressure is 10 atm. The maximum temperature of the coolant is + 110 ° С.

If piping is required from the bottom, there is a model with a bottom connection Ventil Compact, in which the inlets can be located on the left or right side of the radiators. When ordering by phone, this point must be clarified. The Ventil Compact M has a bottom connection in the middle of the appliance.

All models with bottom connection are equipped with a thermostatic valve. Its customization is carried out in production. Additional adjustment required in rare cases, if for any reason his work is not satisfied.

Purmo Plan Compact

The technical characteristics of this radiator practically do not differ from the base model. The only difference is the smooth plate applied to the profiled panel and the high cost.

It should be noted that in all models with bottom piping, the coolant supply hole is on the left, and the coolant outlet is on the right.

Purmo ramo compact

In this model, as in the previous one, the profiled panel is closed by a plate, but it is not smooth, but made in the form of wide horizontal stripes. This solution emphasizes the strict design of the radiator and looks stylish in the interior of the room. The model has the possibility of side and bottom connection. Appliances with bottom piping are identified by the word Ventil. This model range includes the following types of radiators - 11, 21, 22, 33, 44. Devices are produced in lengths from 40 cm to 3 m, and heights from 20 cm to 50 cm. Allowable pressure up to 10 atm.

Purmo hygiene

Special hygienic type of radiators without internal fins. When convection flows move, dust particles rise along with them, which then settle on the inner surface of the radiator. The absence of ribs makes it easier to clean the appliance. The Hygiene model is recommended for installation in rooms where people with allergic diseases as well as in hospitals, kindergartens and other public places. In such radiators, the share of heat transferred by infrared radiation is significantly higher than convection heat transfer.

The Hygiene range includes 3 types of batteries - 10, 20, 30. All of them have versions with bottom side Ventil connection and center Ventil M, as well as Plan Hygiene with a smooth cover plate with all piping options.

Purmo Vertical

Vertical radiators are designed for rooms with limited horizontal space, but for heating which need a large thermal power... The device has 4 holes for lateral piping and 2 at the bottom in the center for bottom connection. Vertical radiators are available in the following types - 10, 20, 21, 22, width from 30 cm to 75 cm and height - from 1.5 m to 2.3 m. Allowable pressure up to 6 atm., Maximum coolant temperature - + 99 ° С ...

This type of radiator belongs to the design type and is more suitable for country houses or apartments with an autonomous heating system.

Purmo air

Reinforced-plastic windows have good energy efficiency, but they must be periodically opened to ventilate the room, in otherwise lack of fresh air can make you feel unwell. The company's specialists took this problem into account and developed the Air model, which allows you to ventilate the room without opening a window.

The radiator is mounted on an external wall, next to it is done through hole and the filter is installed. After passing through it, cold air heats up from the radiator and dissipates around the room. Thus, a miniature heated ventilation system is obtained. Ventilation equipment is supplied complete with a radiator.

The line of Air models consists of devices of type - 11, 22, 33, length from 70 cm to 3 m and width from 30 cm to 75 cm. Permissible pressure - up to 6 atm., admissible temperature coolant - + 110 ° С.

Delta Laserline

This model belongs to the tubular type of radiators, consisting of sections. The design of each section consists of two heads connected to each other steel pipes... Depending on the model, the number of pipe rows may vary. The sections are welded together into a single radiator. Quality plays an important role in this design. welds... For the manufacture of tubular radiators, laser welding is used, controlled by a computer system.

Delta Laserline models have the traditional shape used in these types of batteries, but in a slightly different design. The pipes are made not round, but in the shape of the letter D, due to which more efficient heat transfer is achieved with a smaller size.

The length of such batteries varies from 20 cm to 2.5 m, the height is from 15 cm to 3 m. It is possible to manufacture radiators of any height according to individual sizes... The permissible temperature of the coolant is 120 ° C, at a pressure of up to 10 atm.

The Delta Twin M model is also available, which has a similar design, only in vertical design. It does not provide for the possibility of lateral connection - the pipes are supplied from the bottom in the center. The lineup consists of two batteries 50 cm and 60 cm long, height - from 1 m to 2 m.

Purmo Delta Bar

This radiator is truly exclusive. It can serve not only as heater, but also as a decorative table or even a bar counter. It can also be used as a partition for room zoning.

The inlet pipes are hidden in the lower legs and along the appearance the device looks more like a designer table, and not like a heating radiator. The cover is not included in the delivery set, it will have to be ordered separately. The length of such a product without a table top is from 70 cm to 1.1 m, the height is from 75 cm to 90 cm. The permissible pressure is up to 10 atm., The maximum temperature is + 120 ° C.

Purmo Delta Column Bench

Another exclusive development of the designers of the Purmo company. At the same time it can function as a heater and a decorative bench. As in the previous model, the inlet pipes are hidden in the legs, the only difference is in the horizontal arrangement of the pipes. The base model is colored in White color, but according to the individual order, it is possible to paint in any shade from the color palette. The length of such a "bench" is 1.5 m to 1.8 m, height - 20 cm to 35 cm. The maximum pressure is up to 10 atm., The permissible temperature of the coolant is + 120 ° C.

It is worth noting that Purmo gives a 10-year warranty for all the described models of radiators.

Advantages and disadvantages of Purmo radiators

For the manufacture of Purmo radiators, high-strength steel with a thickness of 1.25 mm is used. Products are painted using the technology used in the automotive industry. Radiators are immersed in a container with a primer solution, and then a special paint is applied under the influence of an electrostatic field. This technology allows the coating to firmly adhere to the steel surface, which completely eliminates the possibility of peeling and swelling of the paint during temperature fluctuations. Products are painted white, but there is a possibility of painting on an individual order. To select a color, the customer is provided with a palette of 700 shades.

Purmo products have a wide range advantages:

  • efficient heat transfer due to natural convection and infrared heat radiation;
  • the simplicity of the design ensures a long service life, since there is simply nothing to break in the device;
  • various options for supplying heating pipes allow the installation of radiators in any conditions;
  • Purmo radiators have a light weight and do not require massive brackets during installation;
  • high efficiency is achieved due to the small internal volume of the devices heating system generally;
  • the cost of metal radiators is much cheaper than similar aluminum products;
  • the aesthetic appearance of the radiators harmoniously fits into the interior of any room;
  • Purmo radiators have a universal design that allows them to be used in one- and two-pipe heating systems;
  • quality paintwork reliably protects the outer surface of radiators from corrosion;
  • it is possible to choose a color in accordance with the design of the room.

Disadvantages of Purmo radiators:

  • in district heating systems service providers for summer period the coolant is drained; if air enters the device, the metal may corrode.
  • due to the presence of a large number of welded seams, radiators do not withstand water shocks well, which imposes restrictions on their use in heating systems operating under high pressure.

Purmo monitors the quality of products at all stages of production and is constantly looking for ways to improve products. All Purmo products are standardized and certified.

For device effective system heating both private houses and apartments in multi-storey buildings, Purmo radiators are used to distribute heat at the final stage of the heating process. They are ideal solution for systems district heating in terms of technical, economic and hygienic solutions. The auto-adjustment devices, which are equipped with all modern indoor heating systems, work very fruitfully with the devices of this company, due to their low inertia and small volumes of liquid.

The advantage of Purmo radiators is that they react very quickly and efficiently to signals. automatic control differ fast heating and cooling after work. The only rejection for the installation of flat devices are rooms with high air humidity, but this limitation is considered for models without special anti-corrosion protection of the surface.

Today determines the popularity of Purmo radiators as the highest quality and most reliable devices for installation in heating systems. They are equally relevant for heating domestic and industrial premises. Flat batteries are so varied in design and specifications that it is very easy to select it in accordance with any design solution... For ease of installation, models are available with side and bottom connections, in various depths, lengths and heights.

Purmo radiators are perfect, since they allow a working pressure of up to 10 atmospheres, while flat devices are tested at a pressure of 12 atmospheres, and a safety margin is obtained. For heating small and large areas, you can choose respectively flat heaters of the required power.

The name of the Purmo radiators comes from the name of a small town where the production of radiators at the first factory began. Further cooperation of manufacturers was continued with the Rettig concern, which paved the way for the sale of radiators abroad. Since then, large production facilities for the production of flat batteries have been opened in Germany, Poland and Finland. The whole modern world appreciated the quality of the batteries, and they enter the markets of about 20 countries. In Russia, flat radiators have also gained popularity due to their well-proven reliability and efficiency at, respectively, a very reasonable price.

Purmo radiators are manufactured from modern cold rolled steel alloys low carbon. To give outer surface beauty and shine, as well as to protect against corrosion, two layers of varnish are applied to flat products, which is very durable in operation. For coating, the method of cataphoresis is used, which is a guarantee of color consistency and film integrity. In flat radiators, the convection system is very well thought out, which allows them to be used in different rooms at no extra cost.

Design features of Purmo radiators

Steel is suitable for the manufacture of batteries in many parameters, it is a flexible and malleable material, with high strength it can be easily welded, its manufacturability has long been tested in various products of the heating system. Steel panel batteries are made of two types:

  • tubular radiators;
  • panel varieties of flat batteries.

Panel type

Initially, blanks are made for the manufacture of the device. Two flat steel girders are connected with contact welding along the contour for a strong grip. When creating the device, two or three of these resulting panels are stamped together. Inside, oval cavities-passages are obtained for moving the heating fluid. The finally finished parts are connected to each other using pipes.

To increase heat dissipation from the inside out on the panels, they put U-shaped ribs, which are made of thinner steel than the plates. This design successfully enhances convection. The complex connection of several plates is covered from the outside with a special casing.

The types of Purmo panel heating radiators depend on the number of connected converter and heating plates inside the flat device. Owners of private houses most prefer to install Purmo flat radiators with only air heating function, without converter communication. Such panel radiators are small in thickness, which makes it possible to mount them without reducing useful area rooms.

Tubular Purmo Radiators

These models are classified as tubular products if the core of the panel radiator is welded pipes and is at the same time a body. In the manufacture of such a radiator is more complex than the panel type, but there are a large variety of models. Consumers most often prefer the choice of the classic common option, when the radiator is similar to the old cast-iron models, but inside there are many more passages for the movement of the heating fluid.

Radiator price Purmo is quite significant, this type can be attributed to elite models and cannot be called budgetary. Designers working on a grand scale of creative thought in tandem with a flight of imagination can afford an original design, where a panel radiator will act as a highlight of an expensive interior.

Purmo Radiator Specifications

The process of heat release can occur in this brand of batteries in two ways:

  • radiating heat directly into the room;
  • use of convection for heat transfer.

If we talk about the heat transfer index, then it varies in a fairly wide range, but even the worst of the representatives are quite effective in their work. The heat capacity can be shown in the range from 1100 to 1900 watts. This data is produced by the type of panel device used, its overall dimensions and brand. A special valuable quality of panel devices is the ability to heat up very quickly and begin to give off heat.

If we talk about the pressure that Purmo radiator models can withstand, then the indicators will also differ. Panel models do not withstand high pressure in the network, its limit is expressed in the ability to withstand the pressure in 8 atmospheres... This indicator decreases due to the insufficient ductility of steel alloys.

As for tubular panel radiators, their ability to withstand high pressures, up to 15 atmospheres, enables them to be used in the centralized city heating system, which is famous for its high operating pressure.

The indicator for the use of Purmo radiators is the ability to resist internal corrosion, depending on the type of heat carrier. Steel cannot withstand prolonged exposure to water and air.

It is not recommended to install steel alloy radiators in the centralized city heating system. In these conditions there is a constant drain water heating resource in the summer. After such a procedure, when the air collides with the moisture remaining inside, the process of rust appears very quickly.

However, manufacturers do not give up and try to cover the internal cavities with special protective compounds... Naturally, the price of such models will be slightly higher than the standard internal processing. The durability of Purmo radiators is also affected by the temperature of the coolant, which, according to technological parameters, cannot exceed 120 ° C.

Distance between connection axes and dimensions

This indicator includes distance between upper and lower collectors... This indicator is especially important for panel radiators with the possibility of side connection. For models with bottom connection, this parameter is not defined.

Steel flat radiators, depending on the model, can be connected in compliance with the center distance in the range from 55 to 75 cm.As for the tubular type radiators, this indicator is in the range from 12 to 30 cm.

  • for flat radiators, the height is 20–90 cm, and the length can be up to three meters;
  • tubular models are unlimited in length, height from 20 to 30 cm, thickness does not exceed 23 cm.

In the manufacture of flat and tubular radiators use steel of various thicknesses... Naturally, devices with a larger wall thickness will have more long term operation, and other technical indicators will be improved. For production can be used steel with a thickness of 1.15 to 1.3 mm. Increasing the strength of the radiator by using a thicker wall will increase the price.

Positive aspects of Purmo radiators

disadvantages

  • the main omission of technologists is the susceptibility of the steel alloy to corrosion and rust, which begins to spread most rapidly under conditions of internal air exposure;
  • Looking at the technical indicators of steel flat radiators, we can say that they cannot withstand hydraulic shocks due to the large number of welded seams. This limits the area of use of Purmo radiators only for small systems autonomous heating.

Radiator connection options

After choosing the model, class and type of radiator, it is necessary to determine the method of connecting the devices to the heating system of a private house. Connection system subdivided into one-pipe and two-pipe:

  • side connection in a two-pipe system;
  • bottom connection in a two-pipe system;
  • side connection v one-pipe system;
  • bottom connection in a one-pipe system;
  • thermostatic valve or valve application.

One-pipe system at a glance

A single-pipe system refers to the type of system when water under pressure is supplied upward to the last floors, and then through other pipes it enters the lower floors. At the same time, it simultaneously passes through all the heating registers installed on the way. On the lower floors there is temperature difference downward.

If you try to regulate the water supply, it will not bring significant changes. It is not recommended to install pipes of a larger cross-section, as this will lead to a decrease in the flow of the coolant in the riser.

Two-pipe system

The principle of such a system boils down to the fact that water enters it through one pipe, and its output is carried out through another. Heating devices are connected in parallel to the risers. With such a system, there is no difference in water temperature on different floors, the heating is the same. The system was most often used in buildings of the old formation, in those housing buildings where the number of storeys is low.

Currently, such a two-pipe system is used when installing heating in elite cottages and individual modern housing construction. Such a system is quite admissible in industrial premises and outbuildings.

The use of Purmo panel and tubular radiators in the heating system is justified by the quality and reliability, the price of such devices is affordable for all segments of the population.

Purmo, which produces steel heating radiators, belongs to the European concern Rettig Heating. The company pays great attention to the quality of its products; all the required European and Russian certificates have been obtained. The assortment of the campaign includes both panel and tubular radiators, there are also convectors, heated towel rails, ventilation systems and pipes. In general, if desired, the entire heating system can be made from the products of this company.

Panel radiators

For heating devices of any type, high-quality coloring is very important: it not only improves the aesthetic appearance, but also protects the metal from oxidation. Therefore, painting is one of the key points of production. Purmo radiators are painted according to the technology used in the automotive industry: first, they are immersed in a bath with a primer solution, and then a special type of paint is applied in an electrostatic field. As a result, the paintwork adheres perfectly to the metal surface, does not flake off and does not swell even at temperature extremes.

In the basic version, all products are painted white, but if necessary, you can order any color from the standard palette, which is more than 700 shades.

Basic model Purmo Compact

It is a panel steel radiator with a grooved front panel. Side connection - four outputs with internal thread½ ”. The following types are produced: 11, 12 (or 21 are the same), 22, 33. The first number indicates the number of panels on which the heat carrier runs, the second - the number of additional convection panels. The more panels, the more powerful the radiator will be, but its depth will also be greater. They can be used both in one-pipe and two-pipe systems of a closed type.

The technical parameters are as follows:

  • Sheet thickness on the panel is 1.25 mm.
  • The step between the vertical channels for the coolant is 33 mm.
  • Height from 300 mm to 900 mm (in 100 mm increments).
  • Length from 400 mm to 3000 mm (up to 1200 step 100 mm, then variable).
  • The power varies in a very wide range: from 289 W (type 11, size 300 * 400 mm) to 13058 W (type 33, size 900 * 3000 mm).
  • The price also depends on the type and size: from 44 to 598 euros.
  • Ph from 8 to 9.5.
  • Working pressure - up to 10 Bar, test pressure up to 13 Bar;
  • Heat carrier temperature up to +110 o C.
  • The warranty period is 10 years.

The same model can be produced with bottom connection. Then it is called Purmo Ventil Compact. In this modification, the nozzles for heat transfer fluids can be located at the bottom right or left (specify the type you need when ordering). There is one more modification with the bottom connection Purmo Ventil Compact M. It differs from the previous model in that the entrance from the bottom is in the middle. This option is convenient in that you can simply remove the pipes and not mount the radiator yet, which is undesirable and problematic when connected to the side.

All models with a bottom feed are factory fitted with a thermostatic valve. The valve is pre-configured, so it can be left unadjusted (tuning is needed if its operating mode does not suit you).

Panel radiators "Purmo" with bottom connection are designed for installation in two-pipe systems (for one-pipe systems the hydraulic resistance of the valve will be too high). The technical characteristics completely coincide with the base model, there is a difference in price - they are more expensive by about 20 euros (the cost of the valve).

Smooth panel battery Purmo Planora (PCV) or Plan Compact

This is a variant of a steel radiator with a smooth front panel.

Connection types, dimensions and heat output and other technical characteristics coincide with the parameters of the base model:

When installing any Purmo radiator with bottom connection, remember that the supply pipe is on the left and the return pipe is on the right.

Front panel with horizontal stripes Purmo Ramo Compact

Wide horizontal stripes are stamped on the front panel. This modification is available with side and bottom connections. For the bottom connection, the word Ventil is added. Five types are produced: 11, 21, 22, 33, 44. Technical characteristics of "Purmo Ramo Compact":

Special type Purmo Hygiene

Any of the above options can be produced without additional fins. This is the Purmo Hygiene class. Such radiators are necessary in hospitals and clinics, as well as for those with allergic diseases.

Perforated metal plates significantly increase heat transfer, but small distances between them make cleaning difficult and troublesome: no brushes or even a steam generator can clean them, which is unacceptable for medical institutions. Also, without additional panels, the proportion of radiant heat increases, the percentage of convective heat transfer decreases, which is important for public places. Available in three types: 10, 20, 30.

The Hygiene model does not contain additional ribs, therefore they are easy to wash

There are variants Purmo Hygiene - this is a modification of the Compact model with side connection, Ventil Hygiene - also but with a right or left bottom connection, Ventil Hygiene M - the bottom connection is located in the center of the heater. There are similar models in the Purmo Plan Hygiene modification. There is also a "Gate" and "Gate M" model.

Vertical panel radiator Purmo Vertical

This unusual model fits well in those rooms where there are few free horizontal surfaces, and a large heat output is needed. Here immediately there are four branch pipes for the side connection and two located in the center for the lower one. The options for supplying the coolant are shown in the figure.

The types of vertical panel radiators are 10, 20, 21, 22.

According to the technical characteristics, it can be said unequivocally - this is a model for private houses, or for multi-storey buildings with independent system heating, the parameters of which are not higher than those indicated for the radiator.

Radiator with ventilation Purmo Air

Modern metal-plastic windows save heat well, but completely block the access of fresh air to the room. Lack of oxygen can lead to feeling unwell and the development of diseases. The Purmo Air radiator is installed on an external wall, a hole is made in it, from where air comes from the street. It goes directly to the built-in filter, and then passes through the radiator and heats up. It turns out that this type heater- miniature heated ventilation system.

Structurally, the Purmo Air system consists of a typical panel radiator 11, 22, 33 and a small set of ventilation and filtering equipment, which is installed behind it.

Various models and types, capacities and dimensions, the ability to paint the radiator in any color - all this makes it possible to choose a Pumo panel radiator for any room. But once again we draw your attention to the fact that they are suitable only for closed-type systems (with a low oxygen content and a small amount of suspended particles in the coolant). That is, they will show themselves best in individual heating systems.

Tubular radiators

Steel tubular radiators are very decorative even in the most simple execution, but subject to them quality workmanship... And Purmo radiators are famous for their quality. Structurally, this type of heating device consists of two section heads (upper and lower), which are stamped from a steel sheet. Steel pipes are then welded to them. Rows of pipes (or columns) can be from two to six, and the depth of the section changes accordingly. The finished sections are welded together into a single radiator, after which it is tested for tightness, then undergoes anti-corrosion treatment and painted (in any color from the RAL palette).

The appearance and reliability of tubular steel radiators largely depends on the quality of the welds. At the enterprises of "Purmo" laser welding is used, the process is controlled by computers, therefore the joint seams are reliable and visually indistinguishable. The impression is that this is a single design.

Delta Laserline and Delta Laserline VT

The classic shape for this type of radiator, but in a special design: the pipes are not round, but resemble the letter D in cross-section. This gives an increase in the heating area, and therefore more power with smaller dimensions.

A very wide range of models allows you to choose a heating device for any conditions and any preferences. The general specifications are as follows:

The Delta Laserline VT modification is a tubular radiator with bottom connection. The pipes for supplying the coolant can be located on the right or left, as well as in the center (only in versions with an even number of sections). A thermostatic valve is installed on any of the batteries.

High radiators Delta Twin M

This tubular radiator is the ideal choice where there is not enough free horizontal space for the required battery capacity. Only a two-pipe version is produced, the connection is lower central. Mounting brackets (four) are welded to the rear panel, brackets are included.

Technical characteristics of "Purmo Delta Twin" indicate that they can work even in systems central heating, but always with an independent connection (check in the management campaign):

  • Length 500 mm and 600 mm (10 and 12 sections).
  • Height 1000 mm, 1200 mm, 1500 mm, 1800 mm, 2000 mm.
  • Depth - 63 mm.
  • Heat output from 753 W (size 500 * 1000 mm) to 1762 W (size 600 * 2000 mm).
  • Ph from 8 to 9.5.
  • The warranty period is 10 years.

Practical Purmo Delta Bar

This battery can be designed as a table or bench, it can be used as a dividing partition between zones in the room.

Connection is only possible in this way: supply from the bottom left in the extreme section (in the left leg), the return pipeline on the bottom right (in the right leg). Supplied without top cover. Standard color - white lacquer, on request - any color from the RAL palette. The piping is hidden, so few people will guess that this is not a designer table, but a heating battery. The technical characteristics are as follows:

  • Length 720 mm (700 mm without table top), 920 mm (900 mm), 1120 mm (110 mm).
  • Height 940 mm (750 mm without table top), 1090 mm (900 mm without table top).
  • Depth:
    • 4-pipe 224 mm;
    • 5 pipe 262 mm.
  • Thermal power from 1417 W (4-pipe, size 700 * 750 mm) to 3230 W (5-pipe size 900 * 1100 mm).
  • Working pressure - up to 10 Bar, test pressure up to 15 Bar.
  • Heat carrier temperature up to +120 o C.
  • Ph from 8 to 9.5.
  • The warranty period is 10 years.

Stylish Delta Column Bench

A decorative design radiator that can serve as a counter, table or dividing element for room zoning.

Unlike the Delta Bar model, the pipes are arranged horizontally here - from four to seven six-column sections. Only the bottom connection, supply on the left, "return" on the right (hidden in the legs).

  • Length 1535 mm 2835 mm.
  • Height 387 mm (200 mm without table top), 437 mm (250 mm); 487 mm (300 mm), 537 mm (350 mm).
  • Depth 300 mm.
  • Thermal power from 1411 W (4 sections, 1500 mm long) to 4247 W (7 sections, 2800 mm long).
  • Working pressure - up to 10 Bar, test pressure up to 15 Bar.
  • Heat carrier temperature up to +120 o C.
  • Ph from 8 to 9.5.
  • The warranty period is 10 years.

When installing under a window sill, the following distances must be observed: at least 10-12 cm from the floor and window sill. If the distance is from 7-10 cm, the power must be increased by 5-10%. An even shorter distance will make heating completely ineffective. In this case, it is necessary to select a radiator with a lower height.

The piping must be done in such a way that after the completion of the work there is no stress left, neither in the pipes nor in the fittings. During installation, the radiators must not be heated (for example, with a blowtorch).

Diversity lineup often plays the very role that becomes the reason for the purchase. That is, when we come to the store and come across a brand of heating radiator, in which there are several models, we begin to tend to buy one of them. And if in the model range there are types of batteries that are designed for different types premises, then this is a big and fat point and one hundred percent guarantee that one or more devices will be purchased without fail. This is how the Purmo radiators, produced by a Finnish company, have more than three dozen types (models) in the model range.

Steel radiators

Let's start with the fact that the Finnish company, by the way, has its own branch in Poland, so this should not confuse you, it manufactures only steel radiators "Purmo". Here is a panel view and a tubular one.

Bathroom tubular radiators

I would like to note the heating batteries, which are produced specifically for bathrooms with heated towel rails. This group devices stands apart, because it has a number of technical and functional differences:

  • Firstly, the classic version of bathroom radiators is vertical batteries. There are three groups here: traditional with tubular sections, with offset sections relative to the center of the radiator, with sections in the form window blinds... The last look is a novelty of the season.
  • Secondly, horizontal devices with curved tubular sections. The manufacturer specially produces given type... It is used for design decisions.
  • Thirdly, a radiator with one vertical collector. Tubular sections are horizontally installed to the side from it, on which you can hang towels for drying. different widths... That is, the width is not limited to the second manifold. This version of the radiator is non-standard, but very convenient to use.

We must pay tribute that tubular models are used not only in bathrooms. The company today offers a fairly wide variety. For example, Delta Bar. It is a tubular radiator with horizontal manifolds and vertical pipes, on top of which a tabletop is installed. In fact, this is a bar that can be used for its intended purpose. But at the same time it is also a heating element. With its help, you can divide the space of the room by organizing two separately operated zones. Convenient, beautiful and functional.

We add that the Purmo tubular radiators for ordinary rooms are four full-fledged models, differing from each other in design features.

Panel batteries

For many reasons, steel panel radiators "Purmo" are very popular in Russia, which have an unusual line for Russians such as the height of the device: 300, 450, 500, 550, 600 and 900 mm. This creates some inconvenience, but practice has shown that designers can easily cope with this problem. Moreover, Purmo radiators have good technical characteristics, plus an acceptable price, that is, the ratio of these two very important indicators optimal. This is what most often leads to demand.

Let's dwell on one model and consider the technical characteristics of the Purmo radiator. For this we will take the most popular type - this is the "Compact" model. This device is specially produced for city apartments, it has a side connection, which is the most demanded.

Currently, the manufacturer offers three types of heaters: 11, 22, 33. In relation to the height, each type has its own characteristics that relate to the volume of sections, their heat transfer and installation dimensions. Below is a table where all indicators are collected in one place.

The heat dissipation of the device will depend not only on the height, but also on the length of the radiator. Note that the ruler of this size varies from 40 to 300 cm.It turns out that before choosing a heating battery and calculating its power, it is necessary to determine the size of the installation site. That is, the landing dimensions are determined and the dimensions of the radiator itself are already selected for them, taking into account its power. The selection is not difficult, for this you will have to use the ratios of all sizes.

There are several examples of this relationship:

  • Type 11, height 30 cm, radiator length 40 cm - thermal conductivity will be 218.
  • Type 11, height 900 cm, length 40 cm - thermal conductivity 1304.
  • Type 22, height 50 cm, length 100 cm - thermal conductivity 1407.
  • Type 22, height 90 cm, length 300 cm - 7164.
  • Type 33, height 30 cm, length 100 cm - 1347.
  • Type 33, height 60 cm, length 100 cm - 2356.

As you can see, the power of the heating radiator varies depending on the size of the device itself.

Heater device

Рurmo Сompact radiators withstand the coolant pressure up to 10 atm., While the water temperature should not exceed + 110C. For autonomous system heating is the ideal model. In urban conditions, failures occur in the form of hydraulic shocks, but Purmo radiators cope with them without problems, because high-quality materials are used in their production process and Newest technologies welding.

Attention! The traditional color of Purmo radiators is snow white (RAL 9016). The manufacturer and designers believe that this is the most democratic color that can be entered into any room interior. But on request, batteries can be painted in any shade according to the RAL catalog.

On Russian market there is one more representative of the Purmo model range, which is very popular - this is the Purmo radiator with bottom connection of the Ventil Compact model. I would like to draw your attention to the complete set of this type:

  • Mounting brackets.
  • Plugs.
  • Mayevsky crane.
  • Thermo valve.

The last device is installed at the factory only in this model, for the rest it will have to be purchased separately. But Ventil Compact is not equipped with locking and connecting assemblies, you will have to buy them. By the way, the connection node can be angular or straight, it all depends on where the pipes of the heating system of the house are laid.

Conclusion

It is not for nothing that Purmo heating radiators are so popular today. It is actually a high quality heater with excellent heat dissipation. True, the guaranteed service life given by the manufacturer is only 10 years. But if you use the radiator correctly and achieve good technical characteristics of the coolant, then the period can be almost doubled.
