Simple gazebos for giving with your own hands - photos of buildings. Do-it-yourself gazebo made of wood step by step We build a summer cottage

There is enough space on your summer cottage or local area for small architectural structures? Then use it for construction open gazebo where in summer you can have a snack and relax in the shade or celebrate an important event... If you do not have such experience, then for manufacturing it is better to take improvised materials from wood - beams, boards and logs, erecting walls of stone or brick is a more difficult task. But first you need to figure out how wooden gazebo built with your own hands, which is described in this article.

We select a gazebo project

The first step is choosing a design that is suitable for your summer cottage. If everything is calculated correctly from the very beginning, then nothing will have to be redone later, which means that the construction will be inexpensive. To do this, you need to give answers to the following questions:

  1. What area are you willing to allocate to make a gazebo? Sketch a detailed plan of the site and indicate on it not only the future structure, but also other planned and existing objects - a garden, a vegetable garden, an outdoor barbecue and even a children's swing. This will help determine the exact location of the building and its dimensions.
  2. How many guests and residents will be in the gazebo at the same time?
  3. What should be the design and decor of the new building, including the interior?
  4. What materials are available and how much more you need to buy.

Note. The dimensions of the open pavilion depend on the planned number of guests. To freely fit 2-3 people, a room of 2 x 2 m (including the table and benches) is enough, and for 10 guests you will already need a platform of 4 x 4 m.

For homeowners without experience construction works a rectangular design is recommended or square shape, this is the simplest and cheapest option. Hexagonal and octagonal gazebos look much more beautiful, but they are also more difficult to build. The same goes for round structures, where in the assembly process you need to provide smooth turns walls. An example of an original hand-made gazebo is shown in the photo:

The main difficulty in the construction of hexagonal and round structures is the roofing. It won't work here a budget option with a gable or gable roof, which overlap square pavilions. We'll have to make a hipped roof in the form of a tent or dome, shown in the photo below, and this complicates the task.

Reference. In landscape design, unusual architectural forms that do not have a roof at all. These are pergolas - canopies covered with grapes and other climbing plants... Roofing in such gazebos is a lathing of boards or timber, which is subsequently wrapped in a vine.

It looks like a pergola - a gazebo without a solid roof

As for building materials, it is better for beginners to build their first arbor from wood - boards, timber, OSB boards... Experienced people can take up the metal gazebo with polycarbonate roof shown in the picture. But you need to understand that metal, in particular pipes and profiles, will cost more than timber.

The interior design of the gazebo is at your discretion. But the arrangement of pieces of furniture and various fixtures must be thought out in advance so that there is enough space. The minimum set is a table and benches for vacationers, how to arrange them is shown in the photo. The interior can be supplemented with an oven with a barbecue grill, a fireplace and various furniture eg wicker chairs and cupboards.

How to make a simple gazebo

We present a rectangular structure measuring 2.2 x 3 m, assembled from planks using only two tools - a screwdriver and electric jigsaw... To build a gazebo made of wood, shown in the diagram, you will need:

  • board 150 x 40 mm - about 1 m³;
  • sheets of ondulin or corrugated board - 10 pcs.;
  • ridge fittings - 5 pcs.;
  • galvanized self-tapping screw 4.2 x 75 mm - 450 pcs.

The idea behind this building is to apply the fast erection technique frame houses, when all the walls are assembled on the ground, and then put in a vertical position and connected to each other. Due to this, you can make a gazebo in literally one day, which is shown in the video at the end of the section. Next, we will consider the implementation of work in stages, starting with the construction of the foundation.

Preparation of the base

Before building a simple garden gazebo for giving, it is necessary to clear the area, remove all interfering objects from it and level the ground. Since the structure is very light, the settlement of the soil under its weight will be minimal. Here, the columnar foundation will rather serve as an anchor so that the structure does not budge from strong gusts of wind.

Note. The video below shows that the master does not make the foundation for his structure at all, but only lays concrete tiles.

Cinder block base scheme

For device columnar foundation use the following step-by-step instructions:

  1. Mark the area and locate the 4 corner posts. Dig holes at the designated points for brick posts measuring 380 x 380 mm. The depth of mini-pits is 0.7-0.8 m.
  2. Compact the bottom of the holes and fill sand pillow 10-15 cm thick. Prepare 4-5 buckets of M150 concrete and place on the sand to form a platform.
  3. After solidification concrete mix lay out the posts with a cross section of one and a half bricks. Cinder blocks laid in pairs with bandaging are also suitable.
  4. Cover the walls of the posts with bitumen, then fill the remaining sinuses with soil. On top of the foundations, lay a waterproofing of 2 layers of roofing material.

For subsequent fastening timber frame iron rods are vertically inserted inside the posts. There is another way - installation of beams on anchor bolts. A base of this type is also suitable for building a pavilion on an iron frame welded from round and shaped pipes.

An important point. If you plan to lay out a stove and bricks inside the gazebo, then you need separate foundation... How to build it correctly is described in.

Wall and roof construction

In short, your task is to twist 2 end walls, set them upright and connect them with beams. Step by step it looks like this:

  1. Make frames end walls as shown in the photo. For corner posts, use 2 boards each, between which the lower crossbar and rafters are attached with self-tapping screws. For rigidity, screw a small bridge between the planks that form the ridge of the roof.
  2. Place the frames in the design position and secure with struts. Connect them together with boards from below and from above.
  3. Cut out sexual lag and fasten it in the middle of the building between the two planks connecting the gables.
  4. Attach a railing at a height of 0.8-0.9 m, which will serve as additional rigidity. Tie them with uprights to the bottom board of the roof sheathing.
  5. Finally, form the roof frame from the longitudinally laid planks. Lay ondulin or profiled sheet on top and screw on the ridge elements.

Advice. It is not necessary to repeat the inclined structure of the walls, as the master does in the photo. For simplicity, make gables with upright posts, and then proceed in the same order.

Do not forget to soak all the wood with an antiseptic compound and let it dry before assembling the frame. This operation is mandatory if you want to extend the life of the structure. Priming and painting will be done at the end of the construction.

Floor arrangement and decoration

In this design, the floors are laid very simply: boards must be laid on 3 existing logs, aligned along one edge. Then screw them to the logs with self-tapping screws and cut off the ends sticking out on the other side. Leave a gap of about 1 mm between the floorboards so that they do not rub against each other and do not creak.

Advice. Before laying the floors, attach vertical posts to the central log, they will serve as supports for future benches.

When the floors are ready, it is worth making stationary benches from the same boards along the side walls. To do this, you need to install short racks in the corners (the middle one is already there) and connect them with crossbeams. The role of the backs will be played by the horizontal jumpers mounted earlier.

To design the resulting gazebo, you can give full free rein to your imagination. Instead of an unsightly ondulin, you can put reed mats on the roof, and decorate the side openings with decorative gratings. It does not hurt to bring lighting inside the arbor and paint it in the desired color or cover the wood with several layers of varnish.

Construction process on video

Construction of a hexagonal arbor

It is somewhat more difficult to build an arbor with six corners, although the order of work is preserved. For the construction, the following materials are usually used:

  • timber 15 x 15 cm - on horizontal beams;
  • timber 10 x 10 cm for racks;
  • board 10 x 5 cm goes to the roofing device.

Foundation drawing with laid beams

To begin with, on the site plan, draw a sketch of the future structure - a regular hexagon. Enter it in the building area and locate the center of the structure. Now you can start marking in the yard.

Since hexagonal garden pavilions differ in shape, marking the site will take more time. To mark the mounting points of the foundation posts and upright posts of the gazebo, find the center of the structure and drive a peg into the ground, referring to the drawing. Then tie a rope to it, whose length is equal to half. external size pavilion, and fix the stick at the end. You will get an impromptu compass, with which you draw a circle on the ground. By dividing it into 6 equal segments, you will determine the position of the supports.

  1. Lay out columnar foundations at the designated points, as described in the previous section.
  2. Putting roofing material on the foundation posts, attach beams from a bar to them, interconnected in half a tree. In the middle, install 3 intermediate logs (can be made of round timber) for laying the floors.
  3. Place 6 uprights and fix them to the corner beams. Connect the upper ends of the supports with planks and put up the railing, thereby tightening the frame of the gazebo.
  4. Assemble the rafter system. The base should be a hexagonal element hewn out of wood, the rafters coming from each corner and the middle of the edge are adjacent to it (shown in the photo). Make the sheathing and install the roofing material of your choice.
  5. Install floors and wall finishing.

Note. The rafter system does not have to be assembled in place, at a height. The structure can be put together on the ground, and then lifted with helpers and attached to the racks.

The device of the rafter system

If desired, a winter garden can be made from a large hexagonal gazebo. To do this, you will need to glaze all the openings and provide for the installation of a stove with a chimney. The procedure for conducting construction work is shown in detail in the video:

Recently, summer cottages have become an integral part of life in a private house. Many are trying to jump over their heads and build something, not like everyone else. Everyone knows the "golden" rule that the simpler, the better and more reliable. Plus, this is a great chance to do everything with your own hands, without seeking help from specialists.

Making simple, and most importantly, beautiful gazebos with your own hands is much easier than you think. Of course, you can take the least resistance, pay a lot of money to the masters of their craft, and in the end get what you expected. But still, sometimes you want to prove at least to yourself that your hands have grown with the right place and it is possible to create a dream creation from scrap materials or for minimal investment.

We will be able to prove that even the simplest hand-made gazebo will delight you long years and bring warmth and comfort to your family. In this article, we will look at the most different kinds gazebos that we can build ourselves without special costs... You can already begin to arm yourself with the most popular tools and go in search of materials for the future resting place. But before that, we recommend that you read a little theory, and feel free to start practice.

Diy reed gazebos

What to make a garden gazebo from? The first thing that comes to mind is that the gazebo should be budgetary and made with the most environmentally friendly clean materials... One can immediately hear in the head: “the tree is what we need”. To make a boring wooden gazebo unusual, you can add a reed roof to this structure. Let's try to make a beautiful gazebo out of reeds with our own hands. Now we will consider step by step how to make such a gazebo correctly.

STEP 1: foundation. Since the reed gazebo is light enough, we make the foundation columnar. You can also make a tape, but there is nothing to it. In the corners of the gazebo, we dig holes 40-50 cm deep and concreting the foundation pillars.

STEP 2: gender. First you need to tie all the foundation pillars together with lags.

Bottom strapping
Floor

To protect the lags from rapid decay, you need to open them special means(antiseptic). You can take a solution copper sulfate and process the boards well.

After the lower strapping is ready, we proceed to the floor overlap. As flooring for a gazebo made of reeds, you can use boards with a thickness of 15 mm (this will be quite enough).

STEP 3: frame. We are starting to manufacture a reliable frame of the entire structure. It is not necessary to make a powerful frame, because the roof of our gazebo will not exert enormous pressure on it. A 75x75 bar or a small log will be quite enough. We fix this case on the lower harness, and we tie the top of our simple gazebo for a summer residence.

STEP 4: roof. The highlight of our entire structure will be the roof. Nowadays, not many people use reeds in the role roofing... Therefore, a gazebo with a reed roof cannot go unnoticed on your site. But first you need to make a roof frame. For this type of gazebo is perfect hipped roof... But we are unlikely to be able to do it right. Therefore, the easiest way is to make a gable or pitched roof. The angle of inclination of the roof must be at least 40 degrees. If it is less, then moisture will accumulate in the reeds and this will lead to the rapid decay of our roof.

To correctly make the roof of our gazebo out of reeds, it is necessary to collect the reeds into bundles with a diameter of about 20 cm and tie it with wire. The edges of the beams must be made even. To prevent reed dust from falling on your head, we make a good lathing from the lining. Bunches of reeds are placed on the roof in one or two rows. We fix the bundles to the ramp with 5 mm wire and 3 mm wire to the crate.

The roof of our gazebo is almost ready. It remains only to fix the iron ridge on the top (if it is a gable roof). Optionally, you can sheathe the railing around the perimeter of the gazebo with the remaining boards and open the frame with an antiseptic.

This is what our gazebo will be like. It looks pretty good.

Do-it-yourself wicker gazebos

Let's continue the topic of ecology and consider another of the most popular types of summer cottages. To make a wicker structure, you do not need to have a black belt of the country's chief foreman and buy some expensive materials - we stock up on vine and patience, and proceed to the grandiose construction of the most elementary, but beautiful wicker gazebo for a summer residence. First, let's start studying the theoretical material, and only then we can safely go and translate everything into reality.

STEP 1: sorting... The first step is to sort the vine by length and thickness. We leave thicker branches on the base of the gazebo, because we need to make it as reliable and durable as possible.

STEP 2: foundation. Since a wicker arbor from a vine does not exert almost any pressure on the ground, it is possible to do with an ordinary columnar foundation. It will be enough for the gazebo to stand securely for decades. We take a drill and make indentations for the posts. It will be enough 50 - 60 cm. We insert our pillars, and fill everything with a solution with crushed stone.

STEP 3: weaving. Consider the chess weaving technique. Between the main concreted pillars of the wicker gazebo, we will have auxiliary posts, between which we will weave the vine. If the length of the branch is not enough to complete the row, then you need to add the next branch to it, and fix it with wire. After the section is ready, we fix the ends of the vine on the last post with wire, rope or construction stapler... This was the simplest vine weaving technique. There are many more different beautiful methods, but this is not about that now.

STEP 4: roof. By choosing a shape future roof you can start making it. It would be best to do this on the floor, and then place the entire frame on the gazebo. In the role of roofing material for a wicker gazebo with your own hands, you need to use light materials: polycarbonate, corrugated board, reeds or straw.

Such gazebos fit very harmoniously on the green area. You can make small flower beds around the gazebo and plant bright flowers. Also, you can equip the gazebo with exquisite wicker chairs and a table.

Simple wooden gazebos

We pass on to the heavier artillery - a gazebo made of wood. These are no longer toys for you, here you need to initially calculate and do everything solid foundation, which will not allow the whole gazebo to warp. We buy everything necessary materials, we find our abandoned tool and into battle! Consider a brief step by step instructions how to make a simple wooden gazebo with your own hands.

STEP 1: foundation. For a wooden gazebo, we will use a foundation in the form brickwork... We take a shovel in our hands and make a square pit with dimensions of about 50x50x50. Fill the bottom of the pit with concrete and start laying the bricks in a checkerboard pattern. Two along, two across, and so on until the masonry reaches ground level. Then we put two more rows of bricks so that the future wooden base the gazebo was not in contact with the ground.

STEP 2: floor. We cover the floor of our simple gazebo with ordinary boards. Much easier!

STEP 3 : frame. We begin to construct the frame from the bottom harness. When it is ready, we proceed to the construction of the walls and the upper strapping. To increase strength wooden structure- we reinforce each corner with an L-shaped fastener (of course, all this is done with self-tapping screws).

STEP 4: roof. We make an ordinary gable roof frame (it is better to do it on the floor), and mount it in its rightful place. Here you need to use longer screws and reliable metal corners so that the roof does not fly into warm regions with the first gust of wind.

STEP 5: roof. Since our simple gazebo for summer cottages already has a solid foundation, you can choose heavier roofing materials, for example: flexible shingles or metal tiles. For such a coating, you need to make a special crate.
More details about construction can be found in a specialized article on our website.

After the construction of a gazebo made of wood, you can start decorating and arranging the structure. Just before that, you need to varnish the frame and the floor of the gazebo. This will help preserve the wood and protect it from corrosion, and in addition to highlight the unique structure of the wood.

Do-it-yourself gazebo from PPR pipes

Constructions from plastic pipes... Country gazebos are no exception. The main advantage of the gazebo made of polypropylene pipes is the ease of assembly and the lightness of the entire structure. You can easily assemble a gazebo and put it into operation in 1 working day. We go to the store for pipes and fittings (straight, angle and tees) for their connection and a special soldering iron for plastic pipes. Let's look at how to make a simple gazebo from polypropylene pipes with your own hands.

STEP 1: concrete pipes ... To fix the future frame of the gazebo made of plastic pipes - you need to securely fix the iron or plastic pipe, larger diameter, in the ground. For this business we need a small drill. We make 4 depressions in the ground, somewhere around 50-60 cm. desired pipe- we measure and cut it off so that it is flush with the ground or a couple of centimeters above ground level. We insert it into the recess and fill it with concrete around the perimeter.

STEP 2: we collect the frame. In order to make an even frame, it is necessary to cut the right amount longitudinal and transverse pipes, and connect them through special adapters (fittings) with each other using a soldering iron for PPR pipes. After the entire frame of our simplest gazebo is assembled, we insert it into pipes that are concreted in the ground. It will be a shame if you did not pick up the pipes of the required diameter and a small inconsistency turned out.

STEP 3: "walls". A gazebo made of polypropylene pipes is a summer option for a place to rest, so it should be made as "light" and relaxed as possible. An excellent option will hang a light canopy. You can also sheathe the gazebo with polycarbonate.

STEP 4: roof. Since our gazebo turned out to be simple, then the materials for the roof must match. We make a gable roof from the same PPR pipes. We cover everything with polycarbonate and you're done!

STEP 5: floor. The floor of the gazebo made of plastic pipes can be covered with gravel or laid out with square slabs. But the most the best option will be the usual lawn grass... It will be pleasant to be in such a gazebo, and it will be perfectly combined with the surrounding design of the summer area.

Here is such a simple design we got. Of course, you can make a more complex gazebo of a different shape, with a different type of roof, but our article is not about that at all.

"Live" willow arbor

Not everyone knows that a gazebo does not have to be built, it can be grown. Interesting? Then we will tell and show you how to do it.

Organic architecture is actively gaining momentum. This direction is now quite popular in the West, but in Russia it is just beginning to gain momentum. Consider how to make a simple willow gazebo with your own hands.

STEP 1: markup. It is necessary to start the "construction" of such a gazebo in the fall. We mark the territory of the future gazebo. We plant willow branches around the perimeter. The length of the branches varies from 2 to 3 meters.

STEP 2: link them. Next, you need to tie the tops of the branches. Ultimately, we will get a kind of frame of the future "live" gazebo.

STEP 3: care for the gazebo. Now all that remains is to wait and from time to time prune the willow shoots that will grow inside the gazebo.

That's basically it. After 2 - 3 seasons, you will receive a full-fledged "live" structure. One hundred percent that your neighbors and acquaintances will be very surprised when they see such a simple and beautiful gazebo on your site.

That's all for us! I hope you liked the options we have proposed for ordinary gazebos. Naturally, these are not all types of gazebos that exist. But we will definitely return to this topic later. Stay tuned for new articles and build with us!

Dacha is a place predominantly summer vacation where children can safely walk on the street all day, there is healthy fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, and adults arrange pleasant gatherings over a barbecue or just a cool cocktail away from the bustle of the city. It is for such gatherings that you need to have at least a small, but comfortable, gazebo. Inexpensive gazebo for giving with your own hands in short time- this is not a myth, but a real reality! From what you can make it, we will consider in this article.

Gazebo materials

A do-it-yourself gazebo can be made from the following materials:

Price finished product will depend not only on the materials chosen, but also on the complexity of the project. An ordinary quadrangular gazebo will come out cheaper than a hexagonal or non-standard author's design. Any construction should begin with a drawing, selection of materials and approval of the facility with the relevant authorities. Even if you want to make for yourself a small garden gazebo with a barbecue, despite the ownership of the plot, it is not recommended to build it without approval, since if the norms are violated, the building may be obliged to demolish, and the owner may be fined for unauthorized construction.

Wooden gazebos

The design of a wooden gazebo can be as simple as four support pillars with a roof, or complex, including carved elements, bends, large quantity corners and floor.

Wooden gazebos are usually covered with wood, but reeds, slate, metal profiles or other roofing materials may well be used.

Advantages of wooden arbors:

Metal gazebos

- the second most common type of these structures. This includes both gazebos made entirely of metal and combined structures with a metal base (skeleton) or forged.

Nothing too complicated to create metal gazebo no, but unlike the same wooden one, its cost is much higher due to the cost of materials, and the foundations (pillars) of the structure must be concreted, which makes the process longer. Of course, in some cases, with proper planning, the structure can be welded and buried in the ground, and the foundation (floor) may be completely absent, but then it is not entirely clear why it was necessary to deal with such a difficult material to work with ...

Any materials can be used for the roof and floor.

Advantages of metal arbors:

Brick gazebos

If you know exactly where you want to see the gazebo, your house is built of bricks and you would be happy to have an integral composition on the site, then ideal material a brick will serve as a garden gazebo. Of course, the construction of such a structure will require a lot of time and money, but its comfort will fully compensate for all this.

Pros of a brick gazebo:

Polycarbonate gazebos

In recent years, awnings and are more and more popular. There is nothing strange in this, since the designs are attractive and with a good margin of safety. Of course, in terms of cost, they are more expensive than wooden ones and cannot be called cheap. But it is quite possible to do it yourself, using metal or wood as a base.

It should be very careful and responsible approach to waterproofing the sheet cut. When water gets in, polycarbonate darkens, which negatively affects its aesthetic appeal.

Any materials can be used as a foundation. Polycarbonate itself is excellent as a roofing and wall material.

Advantages of polycarbonate gazebos:

You can also find ready-made small inexpensive polycarbonate gazebos on sale:

Prefabricated gazebos

You can buy ready-made prefabricated gazebos. Their price is fully consistent with the quality, and the ease of installation is ahead of all the structures listed above, which can be made by hand.

Most often, ready-made gazebos are awnings or, which can be equipped with various kinds of walls made of the same material that covers the roof. These walls can be equipped with "windows" made of durable transparent plastic, mosquito nets and doors with a zipper or Velcro.

The price of the simplest awning without walls starts from 3500 Russian rubles and depends on the quality of the materials used and the dimensions.

Pros of ready-made prefabricated arbors:

The foundation (floor) for the gazebo

You can cheaply build a gazebo if you do not plan to make it for any weather and protect it from rain and wind from the sides and floor. A big savings will be the lack of a foundation for this structure.

If you nevertheless decide to make a gazebo for any weather with your own hands, it is better to make the foundation of concrete using reinforcement. This design will last for several decades. But in terms of price and labor costs, this option, of course, is not the cheapest.

A cheap gazebo with a floor can be made from almost any material at hand or using wood. It is enough to dig in a few beams and lay the base of them on them, as is done in wooden houses, or make a base using boards with a thickness of 40 mm or more. The floor is mounted on them. With the proper approach and quality materials, such a garden gazebo will be in operation for two or more decades. However, the more expensive the materials and the better the performance, the closer in cost the wooden base of the gazebo is to the cement foundation, and in some cases it may even be more expensive. For example, when using larch or cedar.

Of course, that's not all possible options foundation for the gazebo, but the simplest and most commonly used. You can do without it at all and just make the floor out of paving slabs or boards. This will be sufficient if the base of the structure is well concreted.

So the choice of materials for the foundation of the gazebo with your own hands should be made based on the preferences of the owner and the budget.

Gazebo with barbecue

If the design of your gazebo provides for the use of a barbecue on its territory, then take care of fire safety:

Gazebo decoration

A gazebo in the country is not only a place to relax. Sometimes it becomes a full-fledged room for celebrating an event. In such cases, the same materials that are usually used to decorate any other festive premises will help to decorate the gazebo: balls, textiles, natural and artificial flowers.

A chic decoration of any gazebo can be real or forged decorative elements... Both are suitable for any structure, regardless of the materials used for construction.

The simplest wooden gazebo, photo report of the construction.

A gazebo in the country, this perfect place for recreation, every summer resident can build it, special skills in construction are not required here, just look step by step photos construction of a gazebo.

This time we will make a simple gazebo made of beams and planks with a gable roof with a slate overlap.

We build a gazebo with our own hands photo.

STEP. 1. We make a columnar foundation, it is enough to fill in 6 supporting concrete supports. The structure of the columnar foundation is described in detail in this article. Supporting concrete pillars need to be coated waterproofing material, for example, with pieces of roofing material, otherwise the wood will pull moisture from the concrete.

STEP. 2. We make a strapping from a bar, at the corners the bar is fastened with a tenon joint and self-tapping screws.

STEP. 3. Install the supports and make the upper harness from the timber. The supports are attached to the straps with metal corners and also with self-tapping screws. Bottom harness cover with waste engine oil, which will serve as an excellent antiseptic and protect wood from decay and insects.

STEP. 4. We fasten the rafters for gable roof... The angle of inclination of the roof slopes must be at least 30 degrees.

STEP. 5. We fill the crate of boards on the rafters and lay the covering material, in this option slate was used, but it is better to work with corrugated board, it is much easier and easier to install.

Layout of slate, first the bottom row of slate is laid, then the top with an overlap, the direction of laying is towards the windiest side.

We lay a wooden floor, we fix the side walls of the gazebo and the gables of the roof.

What could be more comfortable than a warm family circle, when after a working day everyone dines at the same table or tea on a weekend, and even on fresh air? What can be a carefree friendly party with wine under a barbecue in the depths of the cottage, under the dense crowns of trees? Where can you be alone with yourself, relax in solitude and enjoy the silence? Nothing will create so many scenarios for relaxation as a garden gazebo, the very name of which contains the most joyful moments of life - conversations - communication with family and friends, unity with nature. Spending time in a place lovingly built with your own hands will be especially pleasant.

Stage # 3 - roofing and roofing works

The easiest way is to cover the gazebo bituminous shingles as shown in this example video:

Construction technologies are also very well described. shed roof-, and a gable roof -.

Extraordinary design ideas for garden gazebos

You might be interested in how to build a gazebo out of the most simple materials literally lying underfoot. Take a closer look at ordinary plastic bottles, which, it would seem, cannot be used anywhere, but it is also a pity to throw them away - all the time it seems that they will come in handy somewhere. You can easily use plastic bottles as construction material, and easily build the structure yourself.

Here, of course, one cannot do without the obligatory stages of arranging the foundation, frame and roof, which will require both financial and labor costs. The walls of such a gazebo, made of plastic bottles, not only will they cost free, they will also serve as a good option for protection from the sun and precipitation.

The contrasting combination of transparent and brown plastic bottles emphasizes the unusualness of the colorful country-style gazebo

Simplify the task of construction by creating a foundation from ready-made metal screw piles, which you can screw into the ground on your own, equipping the base under the gazebo literally within one day. The frame will be easiest to make from metal profile- corner, square or pipe, welded with welding machine structural elements.

Plastic bottles are strung on metal rods, which are then placed between the lower and upper frame of the frame. An important condition the formation of a harmonious structure is the selection of bottles of the same shape and size, the color can be varied - this will give the gazebo a unique flavor.

The material on creating decorations and crafts for the garden from plastic bottles will also be useful:

Option # 2 - a gazebo made of glass bottles

In addition to plastic bottles, another unconventional building material can be glass container, which can be purchased for almost nothing at the collection points for recyclable materials.

Art Nouveau garden gazebo with fluid forms and an abundance of glass, vividly echoes the famous Gaudí gardens

So, we are building a gazebo from glass bottles. The principle of erecting a building is the same as that of a brick - bottles are stacked in rows, which are fastened together with cement mortar.

Throwing out your imagination, combining different shapes and colors glass bottles, you can build an unusual gazebo both outside and inside

The bottles are placed with their bottoms outward, and with their necks inside the structure. Given that the bottles are difficult to dock at the corners of the building, they can be used to lay out separate fragments walls, giving the structure an unusual sound - iridescent glass surfaces will sparkle in the sun like a crystal.

Option # 3 - construction from the trunks of old trees

Interesting and enough economical option gazebos for summer cottages can be built using trunks and branches of old trees.

In the garden there are always trees that have outlived their days, which have already ceased to bear fruit and require sawing. Removing logs is often difficult and costly, but take your time to get rid of fruit wood - it has beautiful trunk curves and texture, making it an excellent building material.

The trunk and branches can be cleaned of bark, which in a crushed form is also useful on the farm - it can be sprinkled with bushes of plants prone to freezing in winter.
